Great little trip. The Good To Go food is pretty good, I've had a lot of them. Glad you didn't get hurt on the portage...lol...that was a deep hole! Good job retrieving the shoe! The Oswegatchie is a fun loop, can't wait to see it!

Thanks for taking us on you adventure. Nugget is a smile-maker. Your reaction to the Good To Go Cuban Rice Bowl was the same as mine and Barb's. We were like "woah... this is the best dehydrated meal we ever had". I'm glad you didn't get hurt when you slipped on that carry. That looked rough. We wear Crocs all the time because they shed water and debris so nicely... but they do have their limitations. I just bought the "off-road" version so hopefully they have better traction. I'm looking forward to your Oswegatchie Traverse.... it's on our list.

Thanks guys! Yeah I ended up buying a nice pair of water shoes and neoprene socks after this trip. It wasn’t the first time I slipped but that was the first time I fell that hard back to back haha

@@DanielleRootes absolutely and Little Weller as well. Coming back on Columbus Day for a few days. And if weather cooperates planning on doing something similar to your adventure. Most likely not camping as I'm a huge wuss when it comes to the cold.....LOL

It’s tough to get comfortable and stay comfortable in the cold. I just got a nice double pad that’s 3” thick, just a cheap thing on Amazon and it is SO comfortable. I also put 2 foam pads side by side for added insulation. Stayed cozy for the Oswegatchi during all the T storms and rain for the trip!

That looked to be a fun little adventure on the Saranac's and Weller. You're a brave woman to paddle that whole thing on a paddle board. I was biting my nails the entire time!

Hey there! Believe it or not I tackled about 80% of the Whitney Wilderness “C” loop on that thing! I can’t take it on any rapids safely but other than that it’s pretty stable and very sturdy. I have definitely had it in some questionable areas like bogs and beaver dams but have never had an issue. I kneel when winds are high or sit on my butt. I only stand in true flat water especially when I’m loaded up or with nugget :) good to see you and thanks for watching! Hope all is well!
