All I hear in this from everyone is man blaming. If a woman files for divorce, the man did something. Envy mentioned infidelity and abuse and women not having to tolerate mistreatment. What about women just being impossible to satisfy or please. What about women being delusional - about their standards, role, or/ and expectations. Women will forsake their vows because they are "bored," or simply because they just stop liking you. Men don't typically move like this. This is why you see more women file for divorce than men. Grandparents didn't "stay" because they had to or because they didn't have any other options. They stayed because they wanted to and were mature enough to work through problems instead of having the weak mentality that this generation has and is passing to their kids. People leave nowadays because they're having internal tough times and show it externally in their homes. The gripe about wanting communication, but fail to communicate themselves. It is a whole lot easier to get a divorce and find another person or not than it is to put in the work required in a marriage. Quit promoting the "quitter mentality" to people. Marriage is work.
