@@GangsterDolphins its not that hard, if you are looking for the maximum performance in a single set with a significant weight, you cant just jump into it (nervous system aint fired up, you are weaker at this point + joints will hurt and your brain will prevent you from going all out due to that pain), so obviously you want to warm up to it, so you do just 1 rep (first 1-2 sets can be more than 1 rep) with progressively higher weight to wake up the nervous system and prepare the joints for the load while minimizing how much you get tired getting there, doing more reps is not going to warm him up more, as by "warm up", a powerlifter means prepare the body to do what you want it to do, getting more pumped might make him feel better, but its going to tire him more by the time he gets to the weight he wants to lift for X reps. You only really have ONE such set in you at a time. After you do this you can drop the weight and do more bodybuilding style training for hyperthrophy :).

That's text book perfect bodybuilding style lifting but putting up big weight number as a powerlifter. He's a gifted all around athletic person is what that shows me. I know its an invasive question but I would love to know how much test larry is taking. I'm currently on 200mg a week along with HCG and no ai but I'm thinking about upping it to 250. My test was naturally high 872 and 919 on the last two blood work I had done prior to starting trt. I was in a bad motorcycle accident and suffered a brain hemorrhage and it threw my hormones way out of wack and my free t was waaay below whats normal from other hormones binding it up. I don't feel like I am getting much out of this dosage. It's been 5 months so I have given it some time. Having bloodwork done tomorrow to see where my free t is at.

Here’s a weird but effective solution for Jonathan’s problem with hurting his shoulders because they are so wide. I also have absurdly wide shoulders. My solution was to get a Bi-Pap machine. (Bi-Pap machines adjust the air pressure automatically to exactly what you need) Using the Bi-Pap allows me to sleep flat on my back without any breathing problems. That eliminates the weird stresses on my shoulders & back sleeping on my side causes. If you get a super high quality mattress like a Purple or Temper-pedic you will wake up in the exact position you went to sleep in. Zero tossing & turning.

Don't be deceived - this guy has been personally coached by Josh Bryant for years in benching. He was already strong as an ox when he started that benching series where he could rep 405 for 7, meaning he could press 500 to begin with.
He even glanced at his own weight on the machine, rethinking his life. He probably cancelled his gym membership that day, or spent 3 months salary on roids. 🤣
Consider having a podcast or something other than actively talking at the gym. Speaking for myself here, I not only wear headphones for the jams but also to let others know to not bother me while I’m lifting.
You guys should invest in a microphone that blocks out the sound from the environment. Really hard to hear sometimes what Larry and his friend are saying, even with airpods on
