AA has an abysmal 83-95% failure rate, and is actually retraumatizing, especially the 4th, 9th steps. It's no coincidence that people regularly relapse at those steps. I'm disappointed that Ross is telling people that AA is a valid "treatment".
He has clearly never felt the fear of annihilation that can push people to cut. Emotional pain from severe abuse in which fear of being killed was real, isn't "lousy bad feelings." Without strategies to address that degree of pain, no one will agree to avoid cutting.
Please keep this uploaded. I love to listen to Dr colin ross' lectures or words
Window of intolerance, brilliant!
