Pine Tree Time-lapse 300 Days

- Last Christmas they sold these stone pine cones in the supermarket so I bought one to try to see if i could grow something from the seeds. And it turned out to be one of my favorites this year. Definitely keeping this one going for longer so there will most likely be an update video coming end of next year.
"The stone pine, botanical name Pinus pinea, also known as the Italian stone pine, Mediterranean stone pine, umbrella pine and parasol pine, is a tree from the pine family (Pinaceae). The tree is native to the Mediterranean region, occurring in Southern Europe and the Levant. The species was introduced into North Africa millennia ago, and is also naturalized in the Canary Islands, South Africa and New South Wales."

I love how well this soaring music goes with a seemingly simple time-lapse of a pine tree growing. Truly, a miracle of nature.
Love it! No annoying intros & outros, no "please like & subscribe", no timelapse in reverse at the end to stretch watchtime, just the pure video like in the old days of TH-cam!
I totally agree. Except that I would also cut the first 5 seconds.
Exactly, This is why he is my favorite youtuber!
except for the crap at the beginning where he showed an end preview for no reason
I mean, annoying dramatic music though
@@Lornes.Cawks.inflationOfficer0:55 yeah… like when the seed came off of the plant so strange to have the beat drop there
Technically, if you're diligent enough, you could plant a Christmas three in your back garden 3 years in advance so you can get a free tree every Christmas
Nicee
Can you do the same for menorahs?
05-[redacted]! Get back to work! We still need to solve the case of the missing SCP-[redacted]. This is his SECOND time.
it takes 10 years or more to develop a christmas three.
Well, except that christmas trees are generally spruce... :)
The timing of your music was absolutely PERFECT! What a beautiful video to watch!
Oh my god, finally a TREE! Thank you so much, please consider making updates of this project in the future!!!! I really appreciate your hard work, and quality videos!
I'm happy you showed the pine cone opening and the seeds inside.
Whoa! That music corresponds so well when the seed falls & the leaves bloom; it gives such a chill!
0:55 I love how the seedling opening up matches to the dramatic sound in the background.
This was almost overwhelming. The miracle of life is a slow process. This was so fast that it made me feel anxious. With that being said, it was a fascinating video. Thank you
Go on little tree!
I actually brought a pine cone home from the American cemetery near the coast not far from Rome when I got home it fell out of my luggage and a few seeds popped out . Went on TH-cam & learned how to grow it
To my amazement it grew and. And is my prized possession.
I love the dramatic music over a peaceful tree growth.
That beat drop when the thing exploded was on point
I always just assumed pine cones on the ground that hadn't opened weren't ever going to open. Thanks for showing me that was a bad assumption. That's a cute lil tree.
A nice little experiment: Pick a pine cone, put it in a humid condition: like on a shallow plate with some damp paper towel and wait; then let the cone dry. You can repeat it and marvel at!
I bet that tiny but mighty little tree had the grow tent smelling AMAZING 😊 great work as always! Happy merry holidays to everyone ❤
I LOVE this!! ❤❤❤❤❤That precise moment when the tiny green sprout muscled through the soil is prime beauty. I never stop marvelling at Nature.
Stunning! The photography is amazing and the accompanying music is perfect and definitely fitting. Thank you!
I almost cried. 🌲 I love your work!
I've been hiking daily with permission on a private property along with my last four GSDs. When I first began to go there over two decades ago, there were several 60 year old pines scattered across a 600 meter long stretch. I started stepping on the fallen pinecones, knowing it would speed up the process of pine seeds sprouting up. After doing this, I've seen almost two hundred new trees on the property. Some are over 20 feet tall, and some are no larger than a finger. I won't live to see it, but one day there will be a very nice little forest there. 😊 🌲🌲🌲
El gran poder Dios , y como crecen bien grandes 🌲con su fragancia rica ❤
the dramatic music like this boy's going to save the world when he grows up... thanks for the air tree
I've always wondered what pine seeds look like! Thanks for creating this!
FABULOUS video! Since I was a child in the 1960s, I have been fascinated by time-lapse movies/videos. The music is well timed and selected, too. Thank you for making and posting this one!! SUBSCRIBED
I'm so proud of them, look how much they grew.
Still, a pine tree takes a long time to grow, but I like how it grows from a small plant into a whole large tree
you mean like all the other trees? :P
@@Avtomatik yes
Depends on species, some are faster than others. Climate is also a factor trees have less down time in the tropics.
After i watched this video, i became obsessed with pine trees.
This is my new favorite video by you I just love it in every way it gets straight into it and you put in so much effort to grow it for 300 days perfection😊
Astonishingly beautiful..~! I could honestly have watched it for hours on end!
Lmao the music when the sprout dropped its cap and splayed out
Freakin awesome! The dramatic explosion out of the seed was perfect and I also love that you included the pinecone drying and opening!
It never ceases to blow me away how plants and other things can come from very small seeds
Plants are magical
the time lapses teaches me about patience. great things take time
Beautiful artwork of patience and filmmaking. Thank you for sharing.
This is something ill show my kids, some day.
This is amazing. I am capable of killing a cactus and you grew a pine tree in a pot. Incredibly beautiful.
Cacti are quite tricky to look after. I have green fingers but I think I always over care for my cacti by over watering them or not watering them enough. The only succulent I manage to keep alive and germinate the leaves is the Crassula Ovata.
I never have any problems with any other indoor or outdoor plants 🤷🏻♀️
I've been waiting for a pine timelapse, finally you made it, it was Beautiful!
I always learn new stuff from your channel. Today it was that seedling pines look like kraken!!!
It's cute! Just a tiny baby tree!
ABSOLUTELY beautiful hope that beautiful tree grows massive ❤🎉
I like how at soon as it opened the dramatic music began
nature is so amazing ✨️🌿🌲
The most epic pine tree to ever grow.
0:53 that literally jumpscared me😂
Absolutely gorgeous!!! This is my new favorite plant!!!!!
BRO SPENT 300 DAYS FOR THIS ❤❤❤
Wow, that's a cool and relaxing timelapse! Your channel is amazing and is the best channel of timelapse of plants growing! 🎉🎉🎉
What a beautiful little fella.. thank you. New subber. 🌿❤️🌿
0:55 bro timed it perfectly
Thank You, Boxlapse 🌲
I did this a lot when living in an apt as a hobby. Both pines and redwood. What I learned is that conifers take a long time to root and get going compared to most similar sized deciduous
Tell me about it! I planted a red pine seed I found on the ground, and it stayed as a single rosette of needles for most of the year! I put it in the ground six years ago, and it’s still barely six inches high, including the needles! Of course, it doesn’t have a parent tree to feed it through the mycorrhizal internet, but it’s still slower than I expected.
30 year time-lapse please.
Be patient it's still being recorded.
Its soothing watching your time lapses.
Thank you for bringing this kind of content in this rotten platform.
We have a random pine tree growing in the yard, it is still young but I want to keep it to decorate it for Christmas every year.
Beautiful! 300 days though... lots of patience. Thanks!
It's an amazing planet for sure
My guy turned a tree Timelapse into a Christopher Nolan movie with this music
Lol was waiting on Batman.
That was beautiful! Love the music.
I hope it puts in perspective just how long it takes for a pine tree to be BIG. People cut them down like it’s nothing. 😢
This little baby is almost a year old and only a few inches tall.
When we have conifers or other trees from seed (almost always little volunteers), it's usually about 3-5 years in a pot or garden bed before we can transplant. Then we have a wire cage or something to prevent deer damage for another 3-5 years, until the tip of the tree's around 6 feet/2 meters tall. Some trouble, yet worth it! 🌲😎✌️
Miracle of life
@RuneWine Okay, aliens.

Надзвичайно гарне відео . Життя на нашій планеті неймовірне
Yes but for what purpose? It just repeats and repeats with no point.

That first drop hit hard with the plant flying open like that😅 didnt think id get goosebumps from a plant less than an inch tall sprouting from the soil😂
I love watching your plants growing videos! Will you ever do a Q&A video?
Incredible time-lapse. Your work it’s top notch. I hope to see a 600 day update some day!
Subhanallah! Sanatlı bir eser sanatkarı icap eder. Eşsiz bir sanat 👏
Wow, what an incredible video. The music and editing was fantastic. I'm happy when a new Boxlapse video is in my notifications, your videos are always great to watch.
The water being given and taken up by the soil / sapling looks like a little heartbeat in this time lapse
🫀
You guys ever wonder how many different plants this guy has to be growing at any one time? 😂
He has a lot of plants and his home or place is filled with them
Loads of cameras and imagine having to edit that clip which is on 24/7 for 300 days
Has to One of the most enjoyable videos to watch on here. Thanks for sharing it
0:55 Oppenheimer moment😂😂😂😂
The tiny plant managed to lift the heavy shell. 😮❤
You took pictures of this tree for 300+ days to make a video under 2 minutes. Thats a lot of patience. I grow plants too and know how it feels to wait
I reckon they took breaks now and then, or got up and took a walk around.
@@fluchterschoenor like, live a life and do things
You can do it little tree! You can be the best Christmas tree ever if you try!
THAT WAS SO ON BEAT LMAO 0:55
I love watching this, it really puts the beauty of life into perspective, how one small seed can grow into something wonderful.
Plants are beautiful. Pines are really slow to grow, but they live soooo much!
I think you're incorrect about that. Pines grow quickly. Try this with a Maple or Oak tree. The reason pine is used so often in construction, is the entire tree can be harvested in just 20-30 years. Oak and Maple, bit longer but whatever you make out of them, will last a century.
So amazing, especially when it first unfolds!!
I didn't know pines trees started life as horror monsters.
I don't know how you do this, but you are so good, you deserve more.
Beautiful!
I've watched many time lapses, ths is bar far my fave so far
I've never seen a pine seed in the wild before, figured the birds got to em first
How to grow birds from seeds ?
You’ve never seen a pine cone?
@@emotionalfriendone43 the pine cone was usually empty, open and no seeds
Those seeds are sold in supermarkets and they're called pine nuts.
That might be one of the most beautiful plants in nature
Wow! This planet is amazing.
This is totally thrilling. Wonderful!
So cute 🥰
it is always awesome to watch growt of a new life
The drop of the music was exactly timed for when the seed fell off the first leaves lol 0:53
Epic
I think that was on purpose (idk why)
Grow grow grow! 💚💚💚
that's really neat. I didn't realize a pine tree grows up from the top like that, I thought it grew from the bototm.
All trees grow from the ends out. Sometimes they grow skinny branches and then fill them out with leaves or needles
@@evilsharkey8954 thanks yes I realize that now from the video as well :)
That pine cone!!! 😳
Totally expected!!!
I have seven pine trees in pots growing from seed ….plus some arborvitae…….secret is to keep the critters from digging them up….
can we see them?
I never realized I've never seen a conifer in the time lapses before. Very cool
Ive also got a Pine tree growing from seed! Its at about 450 days and its literally the same except maybe a little more branched out and 10cm taller
Yeah, conifers grow really slow in their first few years, but pick up their pace in the coming years
nekem a közönséges lucfenyő 240 nap alatt nött 22 cm ert mondjuk az a faj gyorsan növő , de sokat számít fiatal korukba a talaj minősége keverj össze paánta földet fenyő földel és akkor nagyobbat fog nőlni a következő ciklusba
Would love to see this over 3000! days. Thanks for sharing!
See you in 2032.
That seed is so chonky! There’s almost no wing, just a big, fat nut.
I grew a red pine seed like this, and it took six years to get that tall, including its long needles!
Great one! and congrats to hitting the 2 mio subs!
It took me 30 years to grow that long.
Just gotta find your kink
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
Go, go, goooo !! YEEEEEEESSSSSS !!!!!!!
This is actually the coolest video I’ve ever seen!!!!! ❤❤
Reminded me when I planted a red and also black pine over 20 years ago. Both semi cascade amateur bonsai now. Some seeds are much bigger and stronger than others.
