So this piece is chaotic but ultimately ordered....crazy and wild but somehow feminine and delicate....a few wrong turns but ended up in the exact right place. Fitting that this piece is designed by you for you, because in many ways i think it’s a mirror of the artists soul. Well done.

YES! I love this piece! These colors speak to my heart as well. Thank you for sharing your struggles with this piece. I don’t feel guilty now for taking a step back from my project. I am not happy with my first layer of colors either, so I practiced on a small raw wooden box from the Dollar Tree. I actually mixed some Dixie Bell and DIY together to get 2 colors which I added to the original colors and blended them. I even sealed them with different top coats to see which one I preferred. Now I can safely move on. By the way, this is my first time ever trying artistic furniture painting! Thank you for inspiring me to give it a try! 😁
