I’m debating to start dying my hair myself. I am currently in DC and it cost almost 500 for full head of red and blonde highlights and cut. That is outrageous. I’m Ohio it cost WAy less. But I think I can save a ton of money doing it on myself. I think one of the issues I will have is when it’s time to cover the roots !

Omg, I’m a Christian, a middle child…and always cut my Barbie and brats dolls hair growing up!! Everyone has told me that I should do hair or at least get a cosmetologist license but I was always so big headed and thought I’m smarter than that! I just didn’t want people to think oh she’s just a girly girl so she should hair but I wanted to be known for being smart as well! LOL That opinion I had so young is so dumb due to how much goes into doing hair(science)!! I really think I should at least have it in my back pocket you are really inspiring me! I love and enjoy color theory and have a really good knack at finding out someone’s season or skin tone is. If nothing else it’s something that could be fun to know for myself and the women in my family!!

I’m from California (Northern area kind of near Sac) and he was a military kid who grew up for a short while in England too! We are Christians also and I love all of your Bible versus in your caption! Your formula is perfect for you, one of the best auburn results ever! Question, whenever you add depth to your ginger/copper hair have you ever had dark results, if so did you go right into making it lighter or if this has happened to you, do you opt to let it fade before applying another color? I have watched this video many times and it inspired me to go with more depth. Thanks Anabelle. Thumbs way up!
Hey Annabelle I was just curious why you use permanent color down the ends vs a demi? I used to use permanent all the way down but my stylists used to say it was worse for hair and would cause more build up. I love the darker red on you! It is so gorgeous.
Hi i’m also wondering this! Is it safe/ok to use permanent color on the full lengths of your hair and will it make it more difficult to change hair colors in the future? Is it possible to achieve this end result with demi permanent color? Thank you!
Wondering the same, since Schwarzkopf has a demi-permanent line called Igora Vibrance, with basically the same shades.
my hair just fades a lot so I like to pull through since i’m using a low volume. I want to try and incooperate more igora vibrance as it would be gentler on my hair :)
@@AnnabelleJoyHooper Would using permanent color on the entire length of the hair cause build up over time and make it more difficult to change colors (go lighter)? Or is it not much difference from using demi or semi colors over time?

You're beautiful and I love the red. I have always loved red and am considering dying my hair red again but I have a lot of grey now so not sure how well it will work out. Plus I realize as we age our skin tone changes a bit too so not sure if red would even look good on me anymore. Would love to color it myself as I have in the past but not sure that is ideal with grey. I also don't know if I can afford to maintain it by going to the salon every time either. I love the color as you mixed it. I was just wondering this evening if I could mix a red and brown together so I could get a dark reddish brown color. Anyway, thanks for sharing the video, I really enjoyed it. Wish me luck going back to red if the stylist can make it happen for me.

I have grey hair with and my stylist dyed my hair and got me pretty orange hot rooted and not sure how to stop that from happening or what to say to her. My hair at base near front is lighter than the back. Maybe you have some advice?

Once you go red initially, does it just depend on the formula you use, or could we just use your formula and achieve the same result? For example; I'm a natural blonde with highlights, so once I went red professionally, could I just use your formula every 7-8 weeks for upkeep or would I have to use a different formula?
Can you please recommended the additional shades of colour , or something very similar to these color , for the igora vibrance Colors? I only paint the roots of my hair with igora royal and the middle and the Ends with igora vibrance

his Annabelle I love these videos! Does the Igora bleed *a lot*??? I know Reds will fade and such but I recently used one that had a gorgeous color but it bleed significantly more than the color i used before which makes me weary of using it again. idk how to describe it as they all bleed a bit but this one bleed A LOT more than any i've used before but your igora mix is very similar so i'm super curious. i hope you have a lovely day! i love how it came out it is gorgeous!
Hi! If my natural root is darker then yours should I use a 20 developer? Also , once my hair is red , you pull through your whole head with the 10 developer.. is okay if I’m doing my roots regularly to pull the rest of the color with the 20 developer through my head? Or can 20 only be done at the roots? I’m naturally a brown dish water color.

What would you add to this formula to make it darker/more subtle if you have virgin black hair?
When doing formulas since you mix shades how do you get the same formula every time to match your roots looks exactly the same? Because I used a mahogany shade. Some neutral and some cool tones to balance out the warmth , and I want my roots to match.
How often would you say you have to touch up your hair with this color? I apply heat maybe a few times a week and wash once a week mainly. I’m so thinking of doing this exact color formula! ♥️
May I ask why a level 10 for roots? I thought you’re supposed to use a level 20 or 30 for roots, and either a 10 or 20 for ends

It’s probably because she is dying it with similar tones colors. She has dyed her hair before but very similar color just didn’t have the 6-80. But she had the 7-57 and the 6-77.
