  • The hypercar known as the Bugatti Veyron was manufactured by Bugatti between 2005 and 2015. named in honour of French racing legend Pierre Veyron, who won the 1939 24 Hours of Le Mans. The Bugatti Veyron and Grand Sport models received the "Automotive Performance" awards from Top Gear and Robb Report magazines in 2010.
In 2010, the Super Sport upgrade became the fastest production automobile in history and broke the world speed record. The top speed of the original model is 407 km/h (253 mph). The BBC television show Top Gear awarded it the 2000s Car of the Decade. Hartmut Warkub was the principal designer of the Veyron. Jozef Kaban, a Volkswagen specialist, is designing the exterior.
Chief technical officer Wolfgang Schreiber oversaw a large portion of the engineering effort. Burmester Audiosystems created and manufactured the sound system that comes with the Veyron. Numerous unique variations have been made. Using the Veyron 16.4 Configurator application on the brand's official website, potential purchasers may now personalise the exterior and interior hues of the vehicle starting in December 2010. Although the Bugatti Veyron was withdrawn from production in late 2014, special edition vehicles were manufactured up until 2015. The 8.0-liter, quad-turbocharged W16 cylinder engine powering the Veyron is the same as two narrow-angle V8 engines joined together: Thus, a mere four camshafts are required. On April 19, 2005, test sessions at Volkswagen Group's private track showed an average top speed of 408.47 km/h (253.81 mph) for the original version, according to German inspection officials.
    interesting facts:
    1. In the 1930s, Bugatti constructed the necessary trains, including the fastest train in history.
    2. The Veyron would take only fifteen minutes to reach 250 mph at full speed, but the cost would be almost $42,000. Even with enough road, the Veyron can reach speeds of 253 mph.

Not visually appealing at all - both exterior & interior, IMHO ... $2 million plu$ = No, will purchase real estate instead ...

While the design might not be for everyone, the Veyron is an engineering marvel. It's one of the fastest cars ever made.
