Radio London DJ Tony Williams interviewed Daddy U Roy on the Sunday after this interview. 'Obviously', U Roy had been interviewed by others, in Jamaica, prior to this. (Some people believe that Reggae can't run unless Rodigan involved...)

@@bblacker8434 I didn’t say that tbh I try to find interviews of artiste that drop out longtime ago as I’m a young man and it’s extremely hard to find it …reggae bbc documentary part 1 -3 really was good as they showed the evolution of the music, just saying for the younger crowd I’m glad we have these on tapes so we can see the history and hear it biggup to everyone involved..all I’m saying is it’s very important to be able to see it in a digital form so obviously he was interviewed before this but where are the tapes so us young people can see it?

I usually rate rodigans interviews, but this was a waste of time, a load of rubbish 90% music 10% interview, they are many more in depths interviews the best being the one with u roy and mutabaruka.

U have to remember this was 1987 ….if Roy had died in the 1988 this probably would be the only main interview of him I agree it could be better but the time this was recorded it was great to hear a Dj being interviewed like this and not the more popular singers
