    This is just phenomenal, Kirk! God, in His grace and love for me led me here, I didn't just land here by mistake. The first episode I watched was with Mark Lowry, I absolutely adore him, he's been making me smile and laugh for years! I watched both episodes. Then, Dallas Jenkins, love him and his wife, and, of course The Chosen! And, now, Ann Voskamp! I just want to keep watching. Tonight is Christmas Eve, it wasn't good, I was feeling pretty hopeless. So, God, led me here! I am so greatful He did!🙌❤️🙌🎄☃️

    This is just the reminder I needed. Thank you! There's a song that says, "Every blessing you put out, I'll turn back to praise!" If I really lived that, the truth is, I would never have time to do anything BUT praise! His blessings are infinite!

    I prayed this morning that God would give me something great to listen to and Ann and Kurt talked about gratitude. And to always give gratitude in all things, which means you trust God. WOW, I really need to hear this. Going through some hard times right now but I will move forward with a gratitude journal and be thankful in all things. Thank you Lord!

    Wow, this was so eye opening. Thank you Kirk and Ann! I am so thankful the Lord led me to this channel. I have been enjoying it immensely!
    Our family has been going through a very hard time especially since this spring. I grew up in a very abusive home. My father has PTSD (and his counselor said he's a narcissist). It came to a point when we finally had to get a VPO. It has been a very painful journey. I have been struggling with depression and anxiety. Horrible scenes flash in front of me and I can't seem get rid of them. But I think I am beginning to see the way out. There IS so much to be grateful for. Praise God! I can replace them with grateful thoughts.
    When I was 10, I did not want to live. Now I am 19, and I trust the Lord will turn this for His glory! I am so thankful He has kept me.
    "Gratitude is a powerful weapon to destroy evil." I love it!

    Wonderful program. Thank you. I remember many years ago in a point of decision trying to find God’s will for myself when a friend shared with me 1 Thessalonians 5:18. He said, "Dennis, this is God’s will for you, read it." I glanced over at his 3 by 5 New Testament and read, "In EVERYTHING GIVE THANKS, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." Are you looking for God’s will in your life? Start with thanksgiving. It’s the first step in the right direction.

    Please do not give thanks for a disease. Disease does not come from God, it comes from the enemy. But in that difficult situation, we can still give thanks for many other things, showing our faith in God to deal with that situation because He is ALWAYS in control. BE STILL AND KNOW THAT HE IS GOD.

      @karin berryman people can SEEM authentic, the bible tells us to test the spirits, and that some have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof, and some will come in sheep's clothing but inside are ravening wolves, and since Satan comes as an angel of light we should not be surprised if his ministers come and instruments of righteousness to deceive. She talks about making love to God in her book, she is mystical and if she has rosary beads....that is Catholic. We have to be very discerning and test everything with the word of God. Please do some research on her.

    Kirk, have you read her book One Thousand Gifts? Do you not think her speaking of making love to God blasphemous, irreverent and disturbing? I'm very grieved you had her on your program. I understand gratitude and being grateful, and I understand her pain.... however, it does not excuse her talking about God in a blasphemous and irreverent way. When you have people on your program, you are promoting them. 😔

    • @mygirlsh65
      @mygirlsh65 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Shelly Hettinger, I absolutely agree, we are to be thankful and grateful, as scripture teaches us. However, we need to use wisdom and discernment when comes to those we listen to and watch. Just because it looks good, sounds good, and may feel good doesn't mean it's of GOD.
