Webinar on "Awareness on Intellectual Property and Its Rights"

IIP Institute Innovation Council successfully conducted a Webinar on “Awareness on Intellectual Property Rights” on 21 st February 2022.
Mr. Manoj G Somkuwar was the resource person, who delivers an excellent
session covering all the forms of IPR. Institute Innovation Council of our
institute jointly organized this program with NIPAM, Ministry of Commerce,
and under the banner Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Students are well aware of patent, trademark, and copyright, with its application
procedure. Mr. Manoj sir, conceptually clear the topic, considering the proper
utilization of this tool towards the pharmacy students. Mr. Manoj sir made
aware the students by simulation with resolving queries from students.
IIC council members, in-house faculties, and students of the institute show their
participation in this webinar. About 175 participants attended the webinar.
The program was well organized by Mr. Sumeet M. Kharat (President IIC),
Mrs. Ketaki S. Dhane (IPR Coordinator, IIC), and all members of IIC IIP, under
the prominent leadership of I/C Principal Dr. Amol B. Khade sir.
The webinar was concluded with a vote of thanks by Miss Nikita N. Gaonkar
(ARIIA Coordinator, IIC) showing gratitude towards the recourse person and all
the attendees of the webinar.
