I've just spent £1,200 on around 1,300 'Fake' LoTR mini figures from AliExpress and I cannot wait for them to arrive. I've got figures from Erebor, to Isengard to the Gondor soldiers. I know they won't have the specific quality of Lego figures but I know that nowhere else would sell even close to what I got - 80p/$1~ per figure? COUNT ME IN!
1300?!? I suppose that’s a good deal, but whatbcould you possibly need that many for? Are you trying to build a minifig scale Helm’s Deep or Tower of Orthanc or something??
As said by some commentors and may not have been mentioned 1. reason why some printing are duller than the others? They are different brands with different quality control. There are many brick brands, KOPF, POGO, KORUIT, XINH, WM, etc 2. They are not etsy but from Alibaba and Aliexpress 3rd party companies kinda thing 3. They are cheaper to buy from Aliexpress like $3-$6 ti $1.50-less 4. Choose what you like and know what youre supporting. I prefer the "customs". I do half and half. City building I go with Lego, else I go with other brands. Anyone who tries to shame others fro non lego usage like to change the goal post and give themselves special privileges to how they do theirs.
I love these "fakes", yes lego is better but i dont want to spend s much money when i can spend few $ and get a lot of Nice looking figures, i spend 6$ and have Cave troll, azog, 2 mordor orcs, 3 uruk hais, 6 gondor soliders and wolf. I didnt bought them for regular price but used things like first shopping etc. Worth
The etsy figures are just from a aliexpress they sell for less than £1 each if you buy in bulk you pretty much just got scammed. Most disappointing part is they stripped them from the original bags but didn't even bother doing any quality control
Man you know those Minifigures from Koruit? Not "Etsy custom"... Nothing against that I love them, but they cost like 7 dollars not 17 a set... You are getting trolled
Well that's good to know for the future. They came assembled already so technically they're Etsy custom 😂. They shipped from the UK so I feel like paying extra for the quicker shipping was semi worth it. Packages from China take forever to get to me.
Having to chip away the extra plastic : a little annoying Figures not coming already assembled : VERY MUCH ANNOYING !!! I don't understand your logic, assembling figures is part of the fun ! 😂
You've never had to assemble some rough custom figs then. Trying to clip the arms in on some of those figures is crazy painful. That's what I was referring to

I think it's possible to buy custom minifigures much cheaper on aliexpress.
