That's awesome looking. I'm in quarantine. I virtually rebuilt my truck watching your videos. I want to order the exhaust you put on the stock F-150. Raptor cloned. small settle changes can make a plane F-150 takes on a whole new look. I love it.
the styling on this light is one of the best. It is listed as not for Raptor. What makes this light not for the Raptor? Is it a physical shape or is it a wiring issue that can be reconfigured? Really want this for a 2012 Raptor
Would you please stop referring to the cargo lamp function as a reverse light? American trucks isn't the only group that does this with these 3rd brake/cargo replacements, but there is nothing in the stock harness that connects up to your reverse lights... It's a cargo lamp that works with the dome. Makes it hard to watch your stuff if a simple detail like that is getting missed. I just installed this light on my 13 and I do like it, very sharp looking; we'll see how the gasket holds up over time.
I agree here with the above post! there is NOTHING to hook this up to you reverse lights. brake light & cargo light only. again nothing said also about the actual seal. has it been improved?
This is the information that I was looking for. When I hooked mine up, there was NO reverse light function. Is this how this light is suppose to be? Thank you
"You don't want to damage the paint with metal " (Places) screws on roof in the dip like its a tool bowl......looks sweet,my brake light comes tomorrow.yayy
Don’t spend the money. Mine leaked with the first rainfall. This is the second replacement light I’ve installed. I’ve yet to find a replacement that doesn’t leak. What a pain.
This is for a "standard" F150. The ad said this light is an exact replacement for an SVT Raptor: 2010. Housing fits but wiring is different. My original light doesn't have 3 removable bulbs. I have 2 white bulbs and a 3 wire harness. The brake light appears to be built into the casing. I hooked it all up and had to use the supplied bulb to 2 pin connector. My white cargo lights work correctly but the red brake never comes on. I'm searching for an SVT Raptor vid but can't find one. Mine does not work like this. Help if you can. Thanks.
Purchased one of those. Looks cool. Brake light works. Cargo light (not a reverse light) was working for a minute and then quit working. I put a original light back in and cargo light was functional again. That happens with the Chinese products, but the main disappointment was that while the cargo light was working - it was aimed to the skies, not to the bad. Really bad engineering flaw. Looks like blind person was engineering it. The concept is cool though.
Hooked up as described when I brake the white light comes on instead of red . When I reverse the whit light comes on . Any way to correct or is it set up that way
I don’t know if anyone has some solutions. But this third brake light that I bought for my 2011 F150 does not activate the cargo light no matter what I try. I even bought a second one and that one is doing the same thing. The brake light works just not the cargo light. And the weird thing is that the one in the video has two wires and mine has three.
So I have read some review saying the cargo lights are junk and they are aimed upwards is that true for a Dodge Ram setup cuz the break light leds look cool.
does anyone know why everything is working except my red running light? I installed just like the video said and all light work except the running light
The least he could have done is to wipe down that dirt surrounding the light stuck to the paint so the new light sits properly and avoid any improper sealing 🤦
@@americantrucks that light around the edge is literally only when the brakes are pressed then? Cause I tried auto starting and locking my vehicle to see how it looks but only can get the middle white light to light up

Do you make one for a 2019 ford 150 xl
@AmericanTrucks Ford how does the seal compare to OEM? The OEM seal is prone to leaking.

When will this be in stock? Want one since mine is leaking but can't wait forever
2013 F-150
This looks awesome, wished if it was available for the 2017 model
This would match the 2015+ taillights perfect. I'm buying one as soon as it comes out.
This will fit a 2015?

Been trying to decide if I need a 3rd b,light... and I see now yes I do.
Just came in the mail. Fast shipping and looks great. Thanks so much!
Took me 5 minutes. Very very nice look with blacker taillights. Another great purchase from AT!
Gonna have to get me one soon to match my smoked tail lights

Dude, finally somebody said it. 🤣
I think it's just me, but I would have cleaned the contact surface. Awesome vid tho!

Was that a right handed or left handed Phillips head screwdriver?

did you ever figure this out? i didnt find anything online as well
How thick and nice is the foam seal??

Did you buy from American trucks or off Amazon?
At least you cargo light actually worked, mine never worked the brake light works though
need the bolts blacked out too
Would be nice to see a third reverse camera up there
Would be cooler if it was a night time running light lol
Any reason why you wouldn’t put the plug sockets back into the light assembly instead of just free floating them inside?
How is this a reverse light? It is only a cargo light on my truck???
The OEM gasket on the third brake light had issues leaking. Was this taken into consideration/addressed with this light?
Sky West same thing I was wondering! Hopefully this was addressed
@@caseytbss Don't count on it. Better buy a new thicker seal. This guy STILL thinks its a back-up light. Gee.

I have the same problem did you fix it?
I purchased this product for my 2016 tundra is this compatible and how do I install?
Do you need a Phillips screwdriver?
Do an install of the Axial G4 Projector Headlights please!
I don’t understand. If your going for that blacked out look. Why not have black screws too?

Will that empty plug be ok with nothing plugged into it?
Maybe put electrical tape over it
@@offsetz6726 It is not used. Empty.
I installed it and reverse light doesn't work it only works when i open the doors any idea why?
I have the same issue
How do you turn off the strobe function???
The bed cargo light is not called the reverse light.
Yeah but it lights up the reverse direction I'm driving.
Are these sold for 2018 ford ranger raptor in new zealand?
How bright is it as a cargo lamp? Does it light up the bed?
It’s dim very dim. As in it doesn’t function at all, at least for me.
does anyone know why everything is working except my red running light? I installed just like the video said and all light work except the running light
@gbfallen3952 having the same issue, did you ever find out why?
Do thay make it for a 2019
Where's the 15+ model?
Too bad they don’t make one for GMC Sierra
For f150 2016

These will not fit the 2014 Raptor. Would be nice if it could.
Edit: eBay works wonderful ways
Yeah, not a reverse light .Just a cargo light has nothing to do with the truck backing up.
You guys blow when showing off the product. Literally do not even know how it looks when the break is pressed
Are you sure you even watched the video? 10 seconds in the brake is pressed. Thanks for stopping by. -Adam
