Hi there this was day 2 for me. I've been dealing with anxiety for about 7months and it's awful. All the physical symptoms have really taken a toll on me mentally, physically and emotionally. Yes you can :) I recommend sitting or standing so as not to fall asleep 😴 but you are most welcome to practice lying down. In that case I would recommend a yoga mat, carpet, or harder mattress/futon ❤️
Day2 .. much better today with being able to stay with the meditation 🧘♂️ .. also in the morning 🌄 .. but I like the quote and how it helps to dissolve resistance towards fear itself by making it a positive thing and a reassurance that I is getting on to smth .. altho I still wudnt want to be in a constant state of fear as I wud love to be in a constant state of getting closer to the truth .. so I duno, there's layers to it.

I suggest that you go by your own feeling about whether or not to use the mantra You can question or test yourself with the following: Feel to yourself "How is meditation if I use my mantra?" Then feel that. It could be negative or positive or neutral. Then ask yourself "How is meditation if I do not use my mantra?" Then compare the two feelings and see which is better. When you do this you are tapping into your own intuition. The recesses of your mind know what is best for you and your unconscious can communicate that to your conscious if you use this questioning or testing method. Aloha!

I think because life is complex & often difficult people can look for peace in pleasure , which may not be the same . The first can lead to addiction. It can be “ diabolical “ .
Fear…closer to the truth…makes me think of the ego and how our filters cloud the “truth” and since fear is from the ego….our ego’s job is to protect us. This could be a good conversation. 🤔 And what about the relationship between desire, ego, fear and truth. ☕️

Really enjoyed the meditation, for the first time I was able to, at least for a moment, leave all those thoughts behind... But I have a question - Is it normal that it is so hard to get back to reality? I felt weird, spaced out, my vision was weird (yet objectively is was ok). It lasted for about 30m before I was back to normal.
It can happen that when you start practicing you get tired. Your body and mind needs time. After the meditation take your time. Don’t jump up. Drink some water, wash your face … take it easy
I feel like I don't have any control over my environment, with dogs barking, cats fighting and loud cars! How ever can I get peace! I have Truth and Love for all! I assure you that I get no respect or peace!
When you hear the cars or the pets, identify that sound, acknowledge it, and then shift your focus to the recorded sound. (Noise canceling head phones also help for inward focus)
My upper body has been rotating during the meditation. Is this normal? Heard it is something to do with realeasing the stress in your body. Even after the session ended it was still happening. Do I have to wait until it stops to open my eyes and to get up?
I find it is better even, but that is my opinion. The mantras are a few hindu deities that are neither secret nor special. I suggest you read the book TM Deception if you want to know more about the mantras. Anyway, this is at least more secular
@@raphaelreiter Wow I don't even have words for how sad that is. I heard someone from The David Lynch foundation say that all other meditation techniques are just placebo effects and TM is far superior to all them. That was a huge red flag to me. Do you have an opinion on that?
@@dannys569 I can't speak for Raphael, but I would say that what's most important is what works for each individual. I also saw Lynch talk about TM and mantras, looked into the concept behind it etc and was shocked at how simple yet expensive it is. I find this video to be a much more effective method, and it doesn't come with the added mental and physical baggage associated with the aforementioned "secular" TM. That baggage is just more stuff that the mind will relate to, judge, and distract from the concept in general. That's how I see it anyway. 🙏❤️🙏

If you feel dizzy open your eyes and breathe through the nose.
