As a retired broadcast engineer, I love great examples of AM executed well. In the days before single sideband became common, the AM circuitry in Amateur radio equipment could be underpowered or produce less than great linearity. Cathode modulation can produce a high modulation index with good linearity while avoiding the cost of a modulation transformer necessary for high level plate modulation. Great work!
Anode modulation works well using an old single end audio transformer .for the audio amp a tda250 will do the job Using a triode / pentode tv video amp tube ,pierce oscillator will put out about 1 watt.

Great build ! Reminds me of a single 6L6 transmitter I built and used an old tube guitar amp as the input to the grid for modulation. 73 de VE3RKP

No need to use a translator. I think most of your fans like the accent. Translators are also bad at pronouncing technical abbreviations.
