Bro the way he teaches, if you understand Thai, it’s in a very encouraging tone, like anyone can do this if you keep practicing!

But at his time, he hated practicing lol 😂 it was mostly due to his gifts. He is truly a prodigy. Yeah everyone can be like him, but needs a serious dedication to practice if not born with a gift like him.

Holy shit... the legend himself. Defense is sometimes quite a neglected aspect in learning striking, great content. More people need to watch this. For anyone who is new to the Muay thai world or any kickboxing-esque sphere, Mister Samart right here is one of the best technical strikers in history. His fighting style can be learnt logically and would translate very well no matter what fighting style or gameplan you have. Samart is like the George St Pierre of the Muay Thai world, in terms of technical arsenal.

@@RazorEdge2006 Ali spammed you to death with his jab, Samart had a wider variety of shots and he was a truly ambidextrous fighter which Ali was not.
There are similarities, although Samart is greater simply because of the level off difficulty in his sport.
Ali had a much bigger impact on his sport simply because the golden age of Muy Thai was just littered with incredible fighters so Ali seemed to be so far above because of it.

Dude observe everything Samart does, he never gamble with his defence, he did not want to be hit in the face because he was so good looking in his youth, that is true.
But seriously, Samart had ungodly timing, near-perfect balance, awesome shot-selection, he was also truly ambidextrous. The man was simply a Savant and most people can't reach him, but striving to and learning from him will get us mere mortals very far.

Out of any Stand up fighter I've seen. Samart fights like a JKD (Jeet Kune Do ) fighter fights. I think its because of his boxing pedigree. and how he fights often in right lead. I trained with Bruce Lee students and this is the closest to what I learned that I've seen. If you watch Samart highlights he does this half Teep half side kick off his rt lead leg to intercept his opponents. Very JKD like. Bruce played Ali fights from a projector into a mirror so he could emulate Ali in right lead. He said of Ali; "He's a master of distance and timing." Samart likewise is a master of distance and timing. Simply beautiful to watch, and amazing!
