You're a "Seinfeld" fan excellent. An NBC show that ended up in reruns on WWOR, in New York, the flagship of the real Warner Bros. network and more popular network, UPN. The WB was never Warner Bros.ish at all. My WB network will be true Warner Bros. and UPN will be revived by me. Not that UPN didn't have a popular and glorious duration from 1995 - 2006, cause it clearly was more popular and WSBK spit on CBS's faces. Not only did they have all of UPN's run, including the last 2 weeks. They made the switch to MyNetworkTV instead of unpopular The CW, which was CBS's shitshow.
Make that WWOR in New York/Brooklyn (because Brooklyn is a separate city from New York - the city where Jerry and Larry came from too - Brooklyn, the angriest city in America LMAO [although I don't mean that in a good way necessarily])
@@robjackson5245for me in Houston it aired on KHTV 39 which later became Houston’s WB on September 20,1995. I respect your opinion as always, now that you mentioned UPN (aka United Paramount Network) I do know that some stations that took the UPN Affiliation aired Soul Train in the last 13 years as well as some WB Affiliates and Dual UPN/Affiliates that aired soul train along with some independent stations and FOX affiliates depending where you live.
This time and era takes me back to a place when life was FUNKY AND GROOVIN!!! High school dances and house parties were soooooo much fun! We won't be seeing these days again 😪 😔!!! I still have my Soul Train jacket.
This so many great memories back for i am getting choked up right now every single Saturday this would play on television in my house from 1980 until 2006 soul train wasn't just tv its was a part life rest in peace George Duke and don couneilus
I was born in 87 so this is the era of Soul Train I grew up on, along with the cartoon train boogieing down the tracks. In the mid-90s I remember hearing the original "TSOP" theme and being shocked this version was a remake.
Soul Train, television’s longest-running nationally syndicated program and the hippest trip in America. With guest stars: Christopher Williams Chante Moore Prince Markie Dee & the Soul Convention and the Soul Train Dancers. And now, here’s your host Don Cornelius.
Hello, and welcome aboard. You’re right on time for another ride on the big train. We’ll be kicking off with great songs from Earth, Wind and Fire and Michael Jackson, right after some very important messages.
During the time when this song was out (1987 to 1993), Dennis the Menace on syndicated and CBS, Inspector Gadget reruns on Nickelodeon, a brief bit on CBS with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at that time, Syndicated TV (via Bohbot Entertainment) and The Family Channel, C.O.P.S. syndicated, WGN, The Family Channel (pre-Fox Family/ABC Family, now Freeform), and a brief bit on CBS (renamed as Cyber COPS) (with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at the time), The Pirates of Dark Water, Hammerman, New Kids on the Block on ABC, Beetlejuice on ABC and Fox Kids, Super Mario Bros. Super Show! syndicated, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (‘87 series) syndicated and CBS, Toxic Crusaders syndicated, Garfield and Friends Syndicated and CBS, Captain N: The Game Master, Super Mario Bros. 3, Kid 'n Play, Super Mario World, Wish Kid on NBC, Mother Goose and Grimm/Grimmy, Raw Toonage on CBS, etc.

TheRenard10 You are half correct. Howard Hewitt and the female group Body sang this. The lead singer of Body and Howard Hewitt on the lead vocals. Not many know this, but I believe it was the late, great George Duke himself who used an auto-tune to say “All aboard!” (Used on one of the animated theme sequences) and he also did the “Get on it baby!” near the end of this jammin theme.
Man, RIP George Duke!!
He KILLED this remake!!!! This is a part of my childhood!!!!
YES DEFINITELY MY TYPE
Yes sir he did! This was my era as an 80s kid.
There was nothin like this on Saturday morning growing up. Lord hamercy I miss those days so sometimes
Oh Yes, Truth Indeed
When I was younger, this song always meant cartoon time was over because it was 11am. When I got older, I’d sleep in until it came on!
Man o man a super hit.good times roll
I feel proud to say that I lived through this era (from day care to third grade).
Cartoon time for me too❤❤🎉🎉2024 use love this
Simpler times back then! The good ol days! Like Levert said, “bring back all those good ol days”

I vaguely remember this era of Soul Train as a youngster. But this was my favorite theme out of all of them!
Mine is too when I was a baby. My father recorded it on tape way before Don Cornelius stepped down as a host 30 years ago.
Had no idea Howard Hewett was singing. Facts!!
Yes he was.

Also the Family Feud (Challenge) aired on CBS and other affiliates in 1992 -93 with Ray Combs that's my favorite memory ❤
Season 22 (1992-93) was the final season for Don Cornelius as host
Don Cornelius was the real host for soul train
The Hottest jams on TV Show Bombe I Love it ...........................!!!
They should have kept the theme song until Season 25 from 1995-96 season!
And kept the same stage set too
This played every Saturday at noon on my ABC station (now FOX) WGHP Ch. 8, right after cartoons was over.
