My Analysis:
~ Din, the ex-traffic police ~
The best part is that all the points that Din initially raised to the Delivery guy are somewhat valid (fine is fine, double yellow line, he is working thus that's his job) up till the mati part. The mati part implies not professionalism and has undertones of personal attack. However, the niat, intention and approach of Din the ex-traffic police now in terms of fining the Delivery guy are incorrect because it is not pure business related nor professional. Don't mix business/work-related matters with personal matters no matter how bad things get. Channel the anger in a different direction and not used it against a 'seemingly innocent and harmless person'.
Din's fault: 1) Not appearing like official working hours traffic police with his own motorcycle which gives the misleading impression of off-shift. 2) Not channelling his anger properly and venting out inappropriately resulting in mixing business with personal matters. 3) For not being understanding and respectful enough.
Conclusion: Din was being unprofessional and should hold himself especially in his new workplace now to a much higher self-standard.
~ The young (and cute) Delivery Guy ~
The young delivery guy although has the sihir stuffs, is still an ordinary hard-working man striving hard and earning a living. Plus it's not easy that time what more now during the pandemic. The only 'crime' he committed was parking his motorcycle at the double yellow line. He says he has been working since morning so he must also be exhausted thus decided to make his life easier by placing is motorcycle nearer to his place of delivery. The best part also the Deliver guy also has valid points: he is also working.
Personally, I don't get what was so bad or like offending when Din said about the mati part but then again to each his/her own. Ok, if it were me I just write Din as a crazy one at that time, think he is being unreasonable and has some issues however that is just me. No need to go sihir-like on him but then again, the delivery guy must be facing some internal stress which resulted in him taking that action. The wages of a delivery rider is less and they need to work long and hard to earn the amount they do. All his wages for the day gone just to pay the irrational fine that doesn't need to happen. He may need to pay other bills, fines or provide to his family or simply buy a meal for himself. All that he could not do was because Din fined him $90. Maybe no wonder, the delivery guy was so mad at Din to the extent he took that cause of action to sihir Din for the night.
Delivery guy's fault: 1) Parking at the double yellow line (although we all do it anyway it's just an unfortunate situation for him then) 2) Maybe for easily getting offended. Maybe only cause not enough context or info. 3) For not being understanding and emotional understanding that Din probably also had a rough day.
Conclusion: Delivery guy should just rationalise with Din and call him out for being unprofessional instead of going sihir on him.
Overall conclusion: Everyone should just know their place and cut some slack.
