I never spoke about how many fans go there on avarage, ofc its much higher in bundesliga and bpl, since its way more attractive. I spoke about the stadiums, and the stadiums are modern like bundesliga and bpl, if not even more modern, at least the new ones. Just look what stadiums Turkey has built the last 7-8 years, and are still on the buildiung till 2020. These are high modern stadiums
I've been in the Allian Arena a couple of times and it's a great stadium but the feeling and atmosphere in the old Olympia Stadium was on another level.

Sorry my friend. The pictures of old and new are great but there are so many mistakes in this video. Redbull Arena was released as Zentral Stadion. The BayArena was Ulrich Haberland Stadion and HDI Arena was Niedersachsen Stadion. Just some examples, dont remember all. And Bayern Munich first stadium in Bundesliga wasnt Olympia Stadion. It was the second after Grünwälder Straße. By the way, the Olympia Stadion was a big part of Bayerns way to the top of germans club football.

There were several wrong names: 'Hannover then' was Niedersachsenstadion, 'Stuttgart then' was Neckarstadion, 'Frankfurt then' was Waldstadion, 'Leipzig then' was Zentralstadion and 'Freiburg then' was Dreisamstadion. 'Dortmund now' is Signal Iduna Park.

In the most cases, there is a difference between then and now because the stadiums are different. For example Munich Olympiastadium (is still alive) and Allianz Arena. So you compare apples and pears. In Cologne there was built a new stadium at the same place where old one was. Then you have got a real comparision. But it is anyway a nice video. ;-)

1954 gab es Rad Bull Leipzig noch längst nich also gab es auch keine Ratten Ball Arena. RB gibt es erst seit 2009. Deutschland sagt nein zu RB

Say what you want, but old stadiums had an identity, personality, individual designs and character. Today's stadiums practically all look the same.
I agree with identity, personality and stuffs like that. But old stadiums become more and more expensive in terms of maintainance over time. It's more profitable to invest in a new stadium with additional facilities(restaurants, bars, museums...) to attract people and make more money.

That's exactly right. I used go to the beşiktaş 's old stadium called Inönü ,now it is vodafone park , I have never stepped to vodafone ,I left all memories with old stadium.
@@mcbg1897 They also had a far too low capacity as well as it has become much harder to adapt them to Bundesliga Stadnards. When Holstein Kiel almost marched straight through second Division back in 2017/2018 DFL approached them and told them they couldn't play first division in their home stadium because it barely even met the requirements for second Division (and even those only by some smooth talking behind the scenes) - and there would be no chance in hell for it being approved for first Division without significant improvements and refurbishments.

When i was a child, i ve been to the old Zentralstadium (Now Red Bull Arena) and all i remember is the feeling of being lost in this huge stadium. But i will never visit that stadium again since Red Bull plays there.

You would've been better calling this "Bundesliga Teams stadiums: then and now" or something along those lines. A lot of these aren't the same stadium but just newly built for those particular teams and not old stadiums that have been upgraded, for example Olympiastadion München is a completely different stadium than the Allianz. And RB Leipzig were founded in 2009, their stadium was built just for them (using money they don't deserve) so that other stadium has nothing to do with them. Other than that, very good video and a very good idea. Keep it up 👍
i dont know why, but its oddly sattisfying to see (mostly older) stadiums, where the pitch kind of lies in a valley below with the stands kind of as a hillside around it. like the old leipzig stadium, where it looks like the whole thing was pushed into the ground from above

some of these stadius had other names then. for example waldstadion frankfurt, niedersachsenstadion hannover, ulrich-baberland-stadion leverkusen. the stadium of stuttgart was called neckarstadion and for some time: gottlieb-daimler-stadion. and for some times the stadium of freiburg was called dreisamstadion.

Das Stadion am Elsterweg gibt es auch heute noch in Wolfsburg. Die VW-Arena war damals ein Neu- und kein Ausbau. Die Arena befindet sich näher zum Bahnhof und dem VW-Werk. Außerdem bin ich mir sicher, dass Stuttgarts altes Stadion nicht Mercedes-Benz-Arena sondern Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion hieß. Generell gab es früher kaum Stadien mit Sponsornamen.

Overall good improvements apart from Bayern one. The old Bayern stadium had more character. Also check out the Schalke tunnel. Best walk out in the world!
Die alten Stadien hatten einfach in vielen Fällen mehr Charme und individuelle Charakteristika. Nur die beschissenen Tartan Bahnen haben die Sound Kulisse und die Sicht sicher stark verrringert. Heutzutage außer Berlin alles reine Fußball Arenen mit nahezu gleichen Konstruktiven Attributen.

wenn schon Fassungsvermögen, dann auch richtig im Zeitkontext angeben z.B. das Augsburger Rosenaustadion hatte 64856 ofizielle Plätze und ist damit das drittgrösste Stadion seiner Zeit hinterm Berliner und dem Stuttgarter.

Gone are the Days where the Athletics tracks were at most of the old Stadiums in Germany now they have lovely stadiums with fans closer to the pitch but one thing i find for me is there always enclosed with roofs and covering i get that for fans Comfort but i just wish the new stadiums were a bit more open and not so enclosed

The Olympia-Stadium in Munich was not owned by FC Bayern and is located in a very different place than the Allianz Arena. The Olympic Stadium is still in operation today. The Rosenau-Stadium in Augsburg belongs to the city of Augsburg. The WWK-Arena is also somewhere else and was called first Impuls-Arena, then SGL Carbon Arena. In many German cities, the new stadiums of the Bundesliga clubs are quite different than the stadiums of the cities in which they once played. The comparison of German stadiums can not be drawn with English stadiums. Many new stadiums are still there where the old stadiums were. In Germany, most stadiums were rebuilt and placed elsewhere. In England, the old stadiums were modernized.

Frankfurt: Old name Waldstadion, original capacity: 81.000, year of renovation: 2005
Hamburg: Old Volksparkstadion had a capacity of originally 73.000, later 61.419, year of renovation 1998-2001
Hannover: Old name Niedersachsenstadion, capacity 54.000
Leipzig: When the old stadium was built, Red Bull wasn't even a thing.
