Wonderful (and very human) interview between the director of Papi Chulo, Matt Bomer and Patino (who could guess he spoke such amazing English!) loved the movie(Matt, you play “crazy” too well), the scenes and the direction. Thank you! Will look forward to a second movie..same cast, PLEASE!
I'm watching it right now hmmm very interesting its about time we see a movie that is realistic. Yes the bond between the 2 characters is different but it has substance and is believable.
Can someone please explain what happened with Carlos. I watched this yesterday and am so confused. Did he leave Sean and then die or did he die while still with Sean and Sean is grieving the loss? It almost felt like maybe Carlos had actually died rather than leaving him and that Sean was in complete denial of his death the entire time.
Carlos died while they were still together. It was so hard for Sean that's why he still sent messages to Carlos' phone via voicemail, until finally the number isn't active anymore. So sad 😢

I didn't find it comic at all. It was quite sad, in a lonely sense. I did find Alejandro to be a very sweet man.
