one afternoon in the 1950s Pat Halcox came to our little village in east kent to marry a local girl, and found a moment to teach me a little about how to use cornet mute. A great day all round !

Great to have footage of such an artist at the click of a mouse! Does anyone know what drums and cymbals Colin uses. It's pretty obvious from the stick-chopper hoops that the drums are a vintage kit, but I'm not too familiar with drums made before around 1960.
Our wonderful dad died 1st August, 2021, unexpectedly but peacefully. It’s a terrible loss, but what he gave us all is immeasurable.
Quite simply one of the greatest jazz drummers ever.
Sadly, August 1st 2021 Colin left us to play his gigs in heaven. A great friend, loved by many, rest in peace
Truly unbelievable!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍👍
Bloody hell, just getting into drumming, I have a long way to go, but I have just seen master at work.

One of the best drummers, a man of jazz, but too much drumming for a single tune. Sorry.
