They have a very talented drummer from David Lee Roth's solo band now and he sort of has a progressive rock/metal sound. Their last 4 albums since Brian has returned to the band are really good albums.

@@Malum09 yeah in the video Munky said it broke his heart when he had to give it to Head. Because Steve Vai had signed the back of the headstock. What’s cool about the swirl paint job is no two are ever the same. Because it’s real alcohol-based paint that they put in a water vat where it rests on the surface. Then they literally dip the whole guitar body into it and the paint just immediately bonds to the white primer.

I've been wanting the blue Ibanez with white hardware my entire life. It must be very difficult and expensive since they never made it available to the public.
I have both knobs, for volume and q, all the way up. It works the best for me. I've found out, that Brent Hinds from Mastodon also plays this wah. It's very nice for downtuned guitars. Thank you so much and welcome to my channel 😀

Head talking about how he always had tuning problems is funny because all the Ibanez’s KoRn played throw the years had the Floyd Rose Locking Tremolo systems. It’s main purpose was to keep the guitars in tune.
Uhhh Floyd Rose do have a locking nut to help keep tuning from going out when using the tremolo but they are not known for tuning stability when used extensively. Also lower tuning, particularly the low B (in his case A) is harder to keep tune at a lower gauge string (they used .060 on a 25.5 inch scale guitar) which is a bitch to keep tuned properly without a floating trem let alone a floating trem. The evertune solves that problem. Its pretty amazing. I have one of the Ibanez RG7620 that they used before their signatures came out. I also have two evertune equipped guitars and they play amazing. Its night and day from a Floyd Rose.
@@SavedbyGraceAlone84 I had a KoRn signature K7 model. I sold it last yeah. I never had tuning problems and I keep it in Korn’s low tuning. It was alway in tune. This was the first year 2001 model, the Japanese models. Really collectible now. The heaviest sounding Ibanez ever made. Because of the mahogany body and pickups used. Only reason I sold it was because it felt too much like a KoRn guitar. It would’ve been so much better with a clean fret bored instead of the big K7 inlay.

Munky is a solid player too and has been active in bands since 1989, which sounds crazy, but Munky, Fieldy, and David were members of the band LAPD from 1989-1991 and they even got a small-time record deal.
