    Its wonderful to learn about so many varieties of insects that keep our ecosystem alive. Keeping count of all of those species with their unique traits is not easy!

      We have discovered around 1.5 million animal species. It is estimated that there are around 10-30 million Alive today. All of the species that have lived in the past are estimated to be around 200 million. Just image that every year we discover around 1000 new ones

    I wanna point out how skillful writing really does impact how people think and feel when absorbing the information you're presenting.
    I was thinking purely about the ecological impacts, the speciesthat rely on the life cycles of this particular Damsel Fly, and... That last line about it not being about just the ecology, but saving this unique resident...
    Despite the cruel requirements for life, every life really is precious, and it's gonna take all of us realizing it to save this planet

      I draw the line at venomous spiders in my house. Centipedes get flushed, too. Ants get enough diatomaceous earth to never return... and if I ever see a cockroach again, it’s going to be dead fast.

    I love deep look. I was watching this with my bearded dragon. He was enjoying it and went absolutely nuts when the heart circled the 2 mating damsels XD

    I used to catch them as a kid, I can't believe that the fog is going away, it's one of the things I loved about san fran!! We need to calm down with all this pollution and create solutions.

    Wow, so these are damselflies. I have seen them linked up like that on my car some summers and sometimes I just choose to not drive so they can finish what they are doing. I always called them dragonflies, now I know how to differentiate them!

    Nostalgia. Personally damselflies are linked to immaculate, clean environment in my childhood. Let's hope a great success of their recovery program, & further scaling up including their natural habitats.
