Thank you for this. I didn't know I could mix these with my clear embossing powder. I also have a huge set of Artiza mica powders that I have never used. Love how you show us a way to mix basic supplies instead of purchasing all these separate brand-name products when we can make what we need with the stuff we already have in our stash.
Thanks for all your tips and tricks. Easy to understand even for me beeing a Norwegian. Love from Irene in city of Hamar. Happy easter to all( God påske, as we say)
Great ideas again. You have given me a brain wave for a copper glitter embossing powder that has always been troublesome - mix it with clear embossing powder! Why didn't I think of that 🙄
Love the color and the card. I do try to respect the bees and leave them a big yard to harvest from the wild stuff. I do have a lot of bee things, most gotten from different magazines. I believe I have a couple of bee dies as well.
Thanks! I've been trying to let parts of my garden go wild for the wildlife. We've been getting hedgehogs and foxes and lots of different birds and insects. It makes my heart happy! :)
I have used this method before, but my cards were nowhere near as lovely as yours. I gained insight in this video and will remember to tie in several elements to make a more complete project. Your inclusion of the vellum flower, embossed honeycomb and raising the inset of the square were fabulous. So much more than a stamped and embossed image on a card! 🩷
Boy. Those powders are very versatile! I wouldn't have thought to do anything more with them than use them as is. 🙄 Thank you for your continued inspiration!
OMG this opens up a whole lot of possibilities for different color blends of embossing powders!!! What fun!!! Thanks so much for your inspirational videos!
Thank you for more wonderful hints and tips plus another beautiful card Natalie. I am assuming that I won't need to use gum arabic to fix my mica powder in this instance as it is mixed with clear embossing powder, and the powder will fix it in place. 🙂
Never would have used pigment with clear embossing powder . Marvellous idea . I usually paint with my indigo blue ones . What do you suggest I search for to find the wee round screw top containers ? I need some . TIA . Keep the ideas coming . Your videos are great .
These ideas are great. Please can you tell me what make of embossing powder you use as the choice is confusing. Must it be a fine one for embossing sentiments and fine details?
Thanks! I use a variety of brands of embossing powder. The clear one is from WOW amzn.eu/d/gfebmTN This is the 'regular' and works well for fine details.
I have found that with the stronger colour mica powders I have used to make my own embossing powder is that it colours the paper and card slightly , obviously the black was worse, did I use to much mica, or is this a genral problem. But its still useful as an allover coverage for die cutting.
I think the pigment can sit on top of the card. I am usually able to wipe it off with a clean micro fibre cloth. Just wait until the heat embossing is cooled and set. x
Just beautiful, gorgeousness. I'm glad the algorithm always brings me here because I don't want to miss anything 😂 You rock. 🎉
Thanks so much! :)
So many terrific ideas and uses for pigment powders. To think mine have been sitting for years. Time to get busy. Thank you, Natalie.
You're welcome, Jan! They're so much fun to play with. x

I don't think you'll need gum arabic for heat embossing. Give it a go and let me know how you get on. x
Can I ask where you get your foam tape from please ? X
These are the foam strips: amzn.eu/d/1D00GUt I also use this foam tape: www.stix2.co.uk/product/5mm-x-1-6mm-x-46m-white-foam-rolls-special-offer/

Thanks, Julie! These are the containers I have: amzn.eu/d/eIPoiai
@@nbcascards cheers .
Also I notice you use a metal pan to heat emboss in. Does that help with the warping of the card/cut out?
Yes, it helps with warping. It also stops stray powder from flying around my craft room. x
These ideas are great. Please can you tell me what make of embossing powder you use as the choice is confusing. Must it be a fine one for embossing sentiments and fine details?

Thank you for the information
Love your videos where can I buy the circles die that you used on this card?
Thanks! These are the dies I use: amzn.eu/d/cJmRbf0 and amzn.eu/d/9dK3Bld
Many thanks for your reply.

@NatalieBowersCards thanks I thought maybe I had mix to much mica in.
Could you mix glitter with clear embossing powder with similar results?
Yes, but the glitter needs to be a simular size to embossingbpowder granules to enable it to stick to the ink properly.
Thank you, I will give it a try@@nbcascards
Sorry you lost me when you put that flower on I was feeling it up till then. But I'm loving your series xx
Each to their own. :)
