- In game files a few unused milestones types can be found. While some of them are woking, others aren't.
List of unused/cut milestones types:
• cops_in_pursuit (0:28) - Get X amount of cops engaged in the pursuit;
• helis_in_pursuit (4:22) - Get X amount of helicopters engaged in the pursuit (would we be able to get more than one helicopter engaged in the pursuit);
• heat_meter (7:25) - Survive in the pursuit until the heat level X;
• insurance_claims (9:22) - Hit a X amount of traffic cars;
• total_cops_in_pursuit (11:13) - Get in total of X amount of cops engaged in the pursuit;
• cops_destroyed_in_pursuit (15:45) - Destroy X cops in a single pursuit;
• 911_calls;
• margin_of_victory;
• opponents_damaged;
• outrun_pursuits_won;
• outrun_races_won;
• pursuits_in_a_row;
• racing_ticket;
• reckless_ticket;
• speeding_ticket;
• hit_and_run_ticket;
• damage_property_ticket;
• driving_sidewalk_ticket;
• fleeing_ticket;
• speedtrap_speed - Replaced with the current Speedtrap milestone?;
• cops_destroyed - Same thing as the milestone "cops_destroyed_in_pursuit ";
• cost_to_state - Same thing as the milestone "cost_to_state_in_pursuit", which is used in the final game;
Maybe in the ones marked with "_ticket", the player was supposed to do specific infractions, or repeat the same infraction more than one time? Well, maybe some of those weren't planned to be milestones, but actually simply stats used in Rap Sheet?
To be honest, I have no idea.

I get why the second one was scrapped. It was bugged and they couldn't be bothered to fix it, hence the seizure inducing flashes.
Pretty much all of these were turned into a "Rap Sheet" scores.
I like the one with civilian's cars "trade paint", but... isn't that the civilian's cars disappear after a while when you get the chase with the cops?!
If so, then no wonder why they scraped it.....

MW'05 was released and Carbon was released on 2006

widescreen patch enables dynamic shadows
Nope. Also some computers have some of these settings disabled as the game thinks it's not capable of doing so.
LBPPlayer7 your right, but on my old computer, I couldn't enable shadows until I got the widescreen patch. It was hella laggy tho. My current pc runs nfsmw with shadows and everything max butter smooth

NOSTeam NFS Carbon uses their own server

the speed breaker is terrible for smashing into cops, and also did you just crash into the (f)helicopter?
'Cause why not? It's a hard thing to do.
Because it slows you down and sends you into a drift if you're turning hard making it easy for the cops to zoom in box you
