This song is the most covered song in history being covered by more than 1,600 artists. McCartney says The Beatles were a little embarrassed by this song because because they saw themselves as a little 4 piece rock & roll band and this was a departure from what they were doing at the time. They never released it as a single in the UK but instead stuck it on side to two of their LP Help and it's track 13 out of 14 on the LP which kinda shows you what they thought of the song. The song was released in America as a single and was a huge #1 hit here. This song is also the first Beatles song were the other three did not play on and also the first accompanied by orchestra strings. This is a nice cover but just one of over 1,600 others and sorry people, but there is nothing like the original, it's one of the most beautiful songs in the history of recorded music and McCartney killed the vocals. I'm sure a lot of young people who are freaking over this cover and never heard the original should give it a listen.
