The arabic recitation isnt singing ,the Quran Arabic is unique and rhymes very well.The Quran is also a direct speech from God unlike the bible where it has 3rd person talking.Quran is Gods words recorded as first person speaking

I love it when Allah starts this surah with the story of Prophet Zachariah, as if to say, "The miracles of Jesus are not as special as you think. They may not be the same, but I have done similar things with many prophets." Sarah, Prophet Abraham's first wife should be barren, but she was still able to give birth to Prophet Isaac with Allah's permission.

kudos to you ladies for at least taking time to listen to a Quran recitation, as regards your question about Mary, She went under a palm tree to rest from the pains of childbirth and was saying she wished she had died and been forgotten before experiencing this pain of giving birth but Jesus then spoke to her and said she should not grieve that Allah has provided beneath where she was sitting stream of water for her to drink and eat from the Palm tree fresh dates and NOT Palm wine (point of correction).

Please pay attention:
About your questions regarding Mary and dates.
"She said, I wish I had died before this and was in oblivion long forgotten"
This indicates that she was in a lot of pain, as correctly mentioned by the sister in the video.
(Note: Committing suicide is a major sin in Islam and the only time we are allowed to ask for death is when we are dying. We can ask God at the moment of death to lighten our pain and make faster the transition to the next world. So Mary was in so much pain that she felt like she she would literally die!)
Then a voice said to her:
"And shake towards you the trunk of the palm tree it will drop upon you ripe fresh dates..."
The Quran is very concise but has deep meanings and many lessons in each verse and sentence. Here are some major wisdoms behind this verse.. I will mention a few:
- 1) Recently scientific studies have shown that dates significantly reduce the pain of childbirth, this is something the muslims have been taught through Islamic knowledge 1400-1500 years ago and Muslimas eat dates to make this process easier. Giving birth is a very painful and dangerous thing, you can literally die, therefore this wisdom is very crucial. Islamic knowledge teaches us that we must have offspring/children and when a Muslim woman dies during childbirth she has the status of a martyr, meaning she will have a place in paradise guaranteed.
- 2) Alcoholic drinks even in moderation in recent studies have shown to be very harmful, alcoholic drinks "in moderation" can cause various forms of cancer according to recent studies! The effect of alcoholic drinks generally can be observed to be very devastating on individuals and societies. The best method of prevention of addiction is scientifically proven to be a zero tolerance policy. In islam alcoholic drinks are completely prohibited. Can you imagine how few people drink alcoholic drinks in Islamic countries and how many endless (millions) of drunkards there are in western countries. Can you imagine a drunkard, lost himself and his sense of logic / wisdom, foolish, barely able to stand or walk on a straight-line teaching morality and the straight path to us? A drunkard is a fool, who lost his sense of direction or way of speech, it is a disgraceful thing and we Muslims cannot imagine any prophet to be drunk.
The bible unfortunately has been corrupted and written by people who wanted the pure first generations Christians to compromise in religion with them so they could compromise in religion.
Can you imagine a drunk person? Lost his ability to speak properly? A drunkard lost his himself, and his wisdom, a fool and shameless, come and teach morality? This is merely a desire of a drunkard, a drunk person, one pro intoxicants who wants believers to compromise with them so that they can compromise with the believers, corruptors of religion and faith to tell such a lie that prophets of God would sin by drinking wine... In the Bible if you read the book of proverbs ch no. 20 verse no.1 it says, "Wine is a mocker. Strong drink is raging and whoever is deceived is not wise." A similar message is repeated in the book of Ephesians chapter no 5 verse no. 18, It says, "be not drunk with wine." So alcoholic drinks are, obviously, prohibited in the Bible in no less than two different places.
- 3) God teaches us about relying on him Him, to put our trust in His Plan, and what He has Decreed for us in our predestination. This reliance upon God is called Tawakul. This teaching gives us always hope, a Muslim literally can't be depressed, if applying the teachings of his religion properly.
"And shake towards you the trunk of the palm tree it will drop upon you ripe fresh dates..."
As you can imagine the trunk of a palm tree is very firm cant be shaken by strong healthy men, let alone a woman weakened by childbirth.
Though God teaches us no matter how small our own contribution concept of Tawakul: To always try your very best, and then rely on God.
Indeed it is God who has granted us eyesight, hearing, health and provisions, countless blessings for the day through our predestination. We have such a high regard for the Most Generous.
Even the atheists should realize that the end result, of what we strive towards, depends on two things:
1. Our effort (intention, in put)
2. Predestination (the Decree of God, our prayers)
Imagine if one of your parents is ill (may God give our parents protection, health and a long life): In such a situation that one of them would be ill, we Muslims would strive our very best to work hard and earn the money. The money for their treatment, we would do our very very best to find the best treatment for them, after that then we would rely on God for the end result.
Like 100-200 years ago you could be the wealthiest most hard-working person, but your friends and family could die because a simple antibiotics treatment didn't exist. So, what do you do after you do your very best as an atheist, or a believer? You pray. And this was an extreme example but generally we Muslims have known that you Christians are the closest to us Muslims in hearts, as you have priests and monks amongst you:
You ask God for guidance in every matter of life as we do, be it for financial reasons, spiritual, health, relationships... you have done your very best and now for the end result you pray and rely on God, or ask Him even better knowledge deeper understanding, progress, increase in contentment and tranquility. And when He takes of His blessings, be it your wealth, health or even a child. It was His creation, and He is the One who gives and takes. You only borrow and above all things you love and rely on God, who has a Plan for you. And you might hate a thing, but it is good for you(, even though you have no deeper understanding of it, no knowledge of the unseen, neither knowledge of the future hypothetical outcomes/ results). And you might love a thing and it might eventually turn out bad for you, it's bad for you. You do not know while God is all seeing all hearing, all Wise. He intends well for you, and ever does a pious person remain patient and relying on His plan.
When he tests us with an affliction, He has revealed that even the smallest afflictions erase (some of) our sins for the Day of Judgement. The concept of Tawakkul, trusting in Allah the Most Kind and His Decree, is central to a strong mind, and spirituality may God grant us a deeper understanding.
One more thing in this regard, a tip:
We Muslims pray 5 times a day. None of these 5 daily prayers is valid without the Chapter of the Quran: Al Fatiha (which your Lord Prayer resembles, transliteration of meaning in subtitles: th-cam.com/video/UDvh63xHVa0/w-d-xo.html).
In this Surah Al Fatiha is a very important sentence, I believe a key to find religious Guidance: "Guide us to the straight path"
We are asking God to incline / Guide our hearts to the truth, the straight path (the religion of God). Indeed God is the Most Kind, the Most Merciful, would He not guide a person who humbly asks Him straight path? He would Guide such a person, who repents and seeks His approval and Guidance. So I ask you christians and non muslims to do as we do, then if you are upon the right path while asking His Guidance, He will increase you in religious Guidance.
- 4) When dates ripen, they ripe not during the same season as Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus. It has historically been proven that Jesus was not born in winter. These event in which Christians celebrate his birth are a proof a deeply corrupted faith.

I appreciate your open mindedness yes dear sister Quran is not song it is not sung but it is recited
the first part is not translated because it is not a word or sentence. It is called the seperated letters ( there are 29 chapters in the quran that start with different combination of letters ). We do not say that they are meaningless because we believe the quran is the direct speech of God but we have not been given the explanation for them. ( There is an explanation in the quran for the whole quran except these letters) when you compile them together (there are 14 different letters in different combinations ) you get a sentence that reads ( A wise statement that is cut, that has a secret behind it )
Corrections:
1. What you listened to is recitation, not singing, of the Quran. The Quran is the Muslim scripture revealed by Allah (God) to His prophet Mohammad.
2. The part about Mary conceiving doesn't mention anything about "wine", it talks about eating dates from the palm tree and drinking water from the stream below it.

🔖 Dear Delphina Yashim: few notes on this chapter
Scholars explain that Zachariah PBUH asked for a boy not for worldly gain but rather to inherit him in prophethood. There was much corruption in his time, and he wanted the prophetline to continue.
Notice that angels spoke to him and gave him the news, assuring him that his prayers were answered. Yet he was surprised because he was old and his wife was barren. So, even though they told him he would have a son, he asked for a sign. So some scholars said God gave him a small admonishment for that, and he was told that the sign is that you won't be able to speak for three days without illness or harm.
Notice that Mary PBUH said "I wish I had died" not because of the pain of childbirth but because she was worried about what people would say about her reputation for having a baby without being married.
Notice the voice that called her while she was giving birth. Some scholars say it is none other than BABY JESUS comforting his mother in distress. I am of that opinion. Others say it is the angel, because "he called or cried to her..." without specifying who the person is. How God is beautiful !! What a wonderful, amazing story!
Notice that some say that when God said to Mary PBUH to shake the palm tree, it is proof that we have to do our part to get something. Mary was weak after giving birth. How could she! If a man tries to shake the palm tree, he won't be able to get a single date!! I have tried it for fun in my house, but not even one date fell. The palm tree did not even move a bit! Especially when the fruit is "rutab." Those are early fresh dates (light brown and very soft but not yet the dark brown dates that you see in the market; those that fall from trees very easily). The verse mentioned Rutab, meaning "fresh ripe dates." It is literally hard to pick rutab. I collect dates in my house every year, and I have to swirl each date, one by one ,like changing light bulbs for 4 or more rounds, to cut it from its stem. So the verse is teaching people who meditate well that we need to take a step and the rest is in God's hands. The message here is that we do our part, but also rely on God. One of the reasons God made Mary pbuh fast from speaking was so that her baby Jesus could defend her honor and leave no doubt with such a miracle.
15:43 , it talks about a powerful rich pagan, Al'as ibn Wa'el Al-Sahami, (father of the prophet's companion Amr ibn Al'as) who was rich and blessed with many children. He asked Jabab, rw, who was a Muslim, for a metalworking job, and when Jabab did the job, he asked to be paid. Al'as, the Pagan, said I will pay you if you disbelieve in Muhammad! Jabab said I would not do that till you die and be resurrected, so Al'as replied, "Will then, if I die and be resurrected as you claim, you will see me with money and children, then I will pay you. He mistakenly reasoned that he would have more blessings in the next life because God had already blessed him in this life with wealth and children, which meant God was pleased with him, or mockingly denying the resurrection altogether). So God answered him (and any arrogant person in general) with these verses.
Also notice the powerful ending of the surah: "And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? "
Death has ended all of them! Not even a sound or a noise left by those countless generations before us. What a powerful verse!
By the way, whenever you read the word "man" in an English translation of the Quran in the sense of "MANkind," know that in the original text, in Arabic it says "insan," which means "human."

Alhamdulillah that you really love the quran recitation, to correct you on the story of Mary and Jesus, what the recitation and quran said is that ' while Mary was having pain, she sit under a tree and really hope for death that she should've died before this day so she wouldn't have been going through the pain. Then Allah speak through the baby Jesus below her that she shouldn't grieve, she should shake the palm trunk she was sitting under and ripe dates will fall for her to eat and there is water beneath the palm trunk she should drink from the water also.

Allah asked Mary(PBUH) to have dates.
We Muslims insist that when a child is born, the child and Mum be given dates.
Research has shown that a woman who gives birth and immediately eats dates, has low risk of suffering postpartum haemorrhage.
This was a prescription of Allah for Mary(PBUH) and her baby Jesus(PBUH).

Surah Al-Waqi'ah

In the Surah Maryam, it is explained that Allah created Jesus in his mother's womb, without a father, as a miracle. Likewise, same chapter describes how Prophet Zechariah had a son called Yahya, even though his wife was barren(not able to create egg) and Zechariah was very old(not able to create sperm). Therefore, in fact, It seems Allah created Yahya without the father's sperm and mothers egg in his mother's womb. Adam was also created without father and mother. This special creations were only Allah's miracles. Allah also created all universe from nothing and he can create any person or anything whenever he desires. SubhanAllah

The first verse was consisted with Arabic letters, this was a challenge from God Almighty to the Arabian Idol worshiper at the time of prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, it means that God sent the Noble Qur’an in their language Arabic and yet they still couldn't make like The Glorious Qur’an.
the main message to Christians from this verse is Jesus is not the son of God. Jesus was a servant of God.
You cannot recite the Bible the same as the Quran because the Quran is unique. They have tried to copy the recitation of the Quran and recite the Bible and they have failed completely.
Muslims Memorize the Quran ever since the Quran was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad(Peace Be Upon Him). This is why the Quran has NEVER been changed nor altered in any way, shape or form. Same Words, Same Message all around the world the Same Quran is Recited in its original form. Preserved Through Memorization

My Sisters Qur'an is not music that is the recitation of it in a smooth manner. However, read the translation of the reciter Marry was not asked to take a wine but rather a date is seed "Dabinu" . As a Muslim Allah forbid us to take wine, how can GOD ask Mariam to take wine ? You really misconstrued it . Please !!! Read the translation.
How to accept Becoming a Muslim?
You have to believe that there is only one God, Allah, who created the entire universe, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his final messenger on earth. If you recite this, with total sincerity, you have become a Muslim. It really is as simple as that.

As for the part of Mary that you mentioned after giving birth to Jesus she fled in fear of what people would think and say of her being she is a virgin and pure so how did you get a baby and God told her not to be afraid. She should go back to her people, when they ask questions about the baby she should just point to the Baby and the baby would give them the answer and thus that is one of the miracles from the Almighty Jesus Spoke as a baby as a sign for nonbelievers

Surah Maryam talking about Christians believing Jesus as their lord. Allah is one and only. God is one and only not trinity. Please do your research instead of listening corrupted words. Because you heard that verses. Allah dont forgive that sin. We have the same and true God, God of Abraham peace be upon him. Don't worship other than Allah. May Allah guide us all believers until we die. We need his guidance all the time.

You can imagine the Jewish community at that time when a women which was known that she is a virgin and after disappearing from the community, she comes back with a child, what do you think their reaction would be and the stress that Mariam peace be upon her had, Allah told her to not talk and only point to the baby, because anything she will say they will not believe her unless if SOMTHING up normal happens and baby Jesus peace be upon him spoke miraculously to them, and this was his first miracle given to him form Allah(The God).

6)The duty of other prophets was to invite people to worship only Allah, and the duty of Prophet Muhammad was to bring the religion and book of Allah.
7)Allah is infinitely merciful as he is infinitely powerful.He would never leave the prophet Jesus in the hands of the unbelievers, because Jesus took refuge in her.
8)Who is it that took the prophet Yusuf from the bottom of the well and made Egypt sultan?Who saved the prophet Abraham from being burned in the fire?Who saved the prophet Jonah from the belly of the fish?Who saved the prophet Moses from the pharaoh by parting the Red Sea?Who saved the prophet Ishmael from the knife when he was going to be sacrificed?Who saved the prophet Lot when Lot's perverted people were destroyed?Who told Noah to "build an ship"? He was Allah who gave honor and humiliation to whomever he wished.He was Allah, who, with the grandeur of her existence, bestowed countless blessings on people.He was Allah, who forbids his believing servants from evil deeds.Now you decide, did Almighty Allah let Jesus die or did he save his?
Why do you associate with Allah when there is only one Allah?There is no match for Allah, he is perfect.Prophet Muhammad has a saying:If you could see Hell through a hole as small as a needle hole, you wouldn't lift your head from prostration.I'm calling out to the Christian who is reading this, you can always run out of time and die. Give up associating with Allah, it's not too late.
يا اخوان لم يستطع احد منكم أن يتكلم او يتطرق الى عيسى عليه السلام و يبين على أنه بشر مثله مثل ادم خلقه من تراب و قال له كن فيكون و بأنه فقط نبي و رسول جاء فقط كنذيرا ينذر الكافرين من عذاب جهنم و يبشر المؤمنين بالجنة الموعودة لهم من قبل الرسول الذي سيأتي بعد عيسى و هو مذكور عندهم في التراث و الإنجيل و هو المعزي (البرقليد) الذي هم فيه يفترون و يختلفون يعرفونه كما يعرفون أبناءهم كيف لا و قد جاء عيسى مبشرا برسول اسمه احمد (محمد. ص) سيأتي بعده و هو آخر الرسل و على كل من يامن بعيسى يجب عليه أن يامن بما جاء به محمد (ص) هو أن اعبدوا الله وحده لا تشريكوا به أحدا مخلصين له الدين و من يبتغي من دون الإسلام دينا فلن يقبل منه و بالتالي هو من الخاسرين يوم الدين يوم تبيض وجوه و تسود وجوه أمام الله حيث لن تكون لهم شفاعة و لا نصير لهم ينصرهم من شركاء الله الذين هم يعبدون و كانوا فيهم يفتتنون الا اتباع الظن و الأهواء كقولهم عيسى ابن الله و هذا هو أكبر الذنوب من الكباءرالتي لا يغفرها الله سبحانه و تعالى ألم يقل عيسى (اني ذاهب إلى أبي و ابيكم الاهي و الاهكم.) (الاهي أعظم مني) (مملكتي ليست من هذا العالم...) (ان يعرفوك انت وحدك الالاه الحق و عيس الذي أرسلته)
