I've bren looking for a way to fix my MN99S for quite a while, even if I don't understand the language I know your video will help me a lot.
What front shock are you are using? I have changed twice already both are bad (the one you also have and another too soft).
Hope you don't mind I will use this as inspiration including changing later on to a 540.

We apologize for the incomprehensible language in some countries.
For the MN99S front shock, I used an upgraded metal shock from RC WLTOYS 12428. This RC shock is with the same scale of 1:12. Upgraded metal shock from WLTOYS 12428 with Hole to Hole length of 70mm. There are slight changes to the shock spring, I used the original MN86KS spring which I cut off 3 threads. to make it much softer. Maybe you can buy soft springs at an online shop in your country, the size of soft or not depends on the weight of the RC. To set the MN99s shock so that it is soft when the RC MN99S is stationary, the AS shock should enter 1/2 of its travel. This indicates that the shock can support the weight of the RC perfectly.
because this shock is 70mm long. while the RC MN99S shock mount only supports shocks that are 55mm long. where this will affect the main travel. So I added a longer shock mount to the top (over mount shock) so that the 70mm shock could enter and travel perfectly

Before I found your channel I was able to order from my local online store the same axles & tires, still on the way here being shipped from China.
I will start with those upgrades plus the 2 speed transmission (stock 370 first) & shocks. I can't get decent torque with my stock motor Eversince lols. Next would be motor upgrade.
I planned to mount 2 3500mAH 18650s in the back seat as well but haven't seen one do it before finding your channel.

Talking about the MN99S, this Basic RC should be a semi-toy that can be upgraded to a hobby class with a small scale of 1:12. What you need to pay attention to is that this RC has several inherent weaknesses that we should be aware of. although we can upgrade the large torque like RC 1:10 with all metal parts. However, this RC cannot beat tracks that are too extreme like RC 1:10
One of the weaknesses of the RC MN99s, even though it has upgraded the torque and all metal parts, is that the gearbox and Bavel gear of the MN99s axle are too small so they can't keep up with the large torque that we have upgraded. Even though we use metal gears because the tooth size of these gears is very small, this is what makes our gears always have problems (fall out/break).
We can upgrade this RC MN99s motor from the default 360 motor, it can go up to 370 and 390 (with a dualspeed gearbox) but we can also force this RC to use a much larger motor such as a 540 and 550 with a few changes and brackets.
Be careful when using a large torque, because there is a risk of the gear falling out or breaking 🫣
Use a winch to help this RC get over obstacles instead of forcing the wheels to spin with a lot of torque 😊

Modif yang PNP buat MN99s saya urutin dari yang paling di butuhkan ya
1. Elektrikal (ganti remote + esc HBW klo bisa ya) (cari smooth dulu)
2. Ganti Kopel dulu (sering sleg klo kopel plastik)
3. Ganti knucle bawaan (oblak) atau skalian Ganti Gardan metal (portal/standar)
4. Pindah servo ke atas gardan + link stering
5. Ganti gearbox (dualspeed atau singgle) pakai motor bawaan dulu 370 atau UP ke 390 oke semua PNP, proper dualspeed
6. Ganti velg metal + roda karet nya
7. Pasang bumper metal + winch + modul winch
8. Ganri baterai ke 2600mah (pake bat vapor oke)
9. Ganti link rod metal
10. Kasih acc di body
11. Pasang winch belakang
12. Ubah motor ke 540 + adapter (wajib gearbox dualspeed klo ini)
13. Ubah servo gede 1/10 25KG + bracket bikin ga jajan servo (servo kecil 17G sering jebol)
14. Nikmati sambil observasi mana yang kurang enak setting ulang dan mentok UP nih

@@edy4rezpect yap betul… lubang 2mm untuk masuk baut 2mm + spacer panjang 50mm.. pastikan dulu sebelum di rebahin shock masih main dan jarak antar chasis dan gardan aman saat shock stanby ya… klo sudah nemu titiknya baru BOR 😊
