I feel getting a different breed will help you not feel guilty about getting a new puppy. Your not replacing your baby, you have so much Love to give, you would be giving this little furbaby a chance at a beautiful,Loving and cherished life. Thank you for sharing your emotions. It's such a complex topic and you never know when you'll encounter the triggers again. I lost my dad to cancer 4 years ago and now my mum is battling it. Watching your videos encourages me to hold on to the beauty that life holds. With its ups and downs. It is so important to be mindful of yourself. And on the subject of separation. My parents showed me how healthy a separation can look. I am so grateful that I grew up with this topic in a healthy way. Some of my parents' ex-boyfriends were still a part of our lives. For example, my father's first real girlfriend is still his best friend and was with him until the end. And my mum loved her with genuine love. No toxic relationships. I'm struggling a bit with my mental health at the moment and am always happy to sink into your videos.

Yes! If you’re looking for a specific breed you can even find a rescue where they only have the specific breed you’re looking for! :)
Not everyone can adopt a dog, very often these are traumatized animals requiring special care

Amelia, I broke up with the man I thought I’d marry in the first week of January. We got back together briefly and this breakup didn’t hurt me like the first time did. I know it’s for the best. I’m glad we’re both single bc as much as I know this is right for me now, seeing other single women love their lives and be successful helps until we all find the right ones (I hope at the same time so everyone’s happy💝). Amelia, I lost my pug just three and a half months of having him and my family immediately got me a new pug pup. Although I took great care of him but I couldn’t stop crying over my lost baby and felt I would never be able to love the puppy at all. Funny thing. Just a month or two later, I didn’t know how, but I was totally in love with my new baby while I continued to remember my lost first pug. Three years later, I can’t imagine my life without him. What I want to say is that even if you feel you may not be able to look at another Pomeranian the same way, they have a way of making their way into your heart. Lots of love to you ❤

I have a maltipoo and absolutely love her. I wouldn’t say she’s very smart but she is very sweet, kind of sassy, and very clingy and needy. She’s very attached to me but more aloof with others. I’ve also had poodles and they were much more independent.

I lost my beautiful dog on Christmas Eve. It is reassuring to hear the grief becomes less intense. He was my world and I’m just broken. Please though if you’re considering getting another dog… adopt don’t shop. The love you get is tenfold and you’re not buying into the breeding industry ❤
I had a Maltipoo (moodle) and she was the greatest! Hardy, smart, easy to train and so loyal. She lived for 14 years and I miss her every day. I now have a toy poodle, similar but different to my maltipoo so that I don't constantly compare. They couldn't be further from each other as far as personality goes though so I think that is the key.
I would think London has dog rescues where dogs can be adopted?
I am grieving the loss of my beloved pooch of 16 years. He died on Jan 2nd and I miss him dearly. I knew the time was coming over the last six months as his health gradually deteriorated but still… I was not prepared. He was gorgeous, fun and my buddy. But as you said, each day it gets a bit easier but tears flood my eyes every time I think of him - like now…
Maltipoo mom and could not be more in love. The absolute cutest, sweetest, friendliest disposition. Such a wonderful dog that has kept me smiling every day.

I don't know if you have a shelter nearby, but there are often puppies there of all kinds. They aren't broken dogs all of them, some are just babies who are waiting for a home. Some are a little older but are wonderful; if you feel you can, go and choose from the center of yourself, one of the dogs to sit with. He or she might be waiting there for you.
We said goodbye to our sweet Lucy (a Havanese) 16 months ago. (I cried every day.) I, too, was afraid to adopt a dog who reminded me of her. We now have 2 Miniature Poodles and they are chaotic and sweet and wonderful. Duke was so lucky to have you. I hope you will get another when you are ready.
Just think, when you and Jack are old you'll look back and say "do you remember when we got it on?" and laugh! You're v lucky to have each other still x

When i lost my french bulldog in 2012... it devastated me. It took me 5 years to adopt again. I absolutely love frenchies, but ultimately decided i had to go completely different for my next dog. My frenchie was a male... i decided i had to get a female and adopted a beautiful, loyal, and loving female mixed dog. When i see frenchies on the street, i always say hi and reminisce. ❤

I have a maltipoo and she believes she is a person. So smart and has the most personality than any other dog I’ve ever had. We are in love. I absolutely recommend you getting one! Of course it won’t replace Cooper but you will fall in love with it. ❤❤❤❤
I felt it might not going to last when I saw the vlog when you were with your grandma at the tennis club (maybe, not sure) and he was talking about/to you. It was not disrespectful, yet like older brother/younger sister vibe, too much banter, not enough admiration. You deserve a man who cherishes you and feels he is super lucky to be with you/around you. We all do. I think the rumours were born out of your vibe - lighter/happier despite the loss of your dog. I lost a 3 yo schnauzer. He got me through breast cancer, and it was so hard. He died from a cerebral aneurysm , i still cry when i see a picture. Now i have 2 mini schnauzers and 1 standard schnauzer. I feel if you are a dog person, you can't be without on. I see you use the Sheisdo lip mask and overnight Sheisdo face cream. I love them too. I started using cold press castor oil on my body. I swim 4 days a week, and it helps for dry skin.
Get a cavalier King Charles spaniel. I have one and she is the best dog I’ve ever had, known, met. They are amazing, loving, snuggly, cuddly little babies!
It's great to have you back, and, even better - looking so well! Congratulations on the healthy breakup and continued friendship with Jack. That is massive! You both should be very proud. It also goes to show you that the best relationships are built on a great friendship.
Regarding getting another dog... I know everyone is different and I respect that. Personally, when it came to my decision to get a cat, I decided I could not get the same breed as my beloved childhood cat (Jasper - a chocolate point Siamese). And yes, it was 30 years after the passing of Jasper (I haven't had the lifestyle to be a good pet owner until now) before I got my current cat. Love for an individual, is never replaceable, human are pet, each is unique. For the reasons you stated, because I thought Jasper was the most perfect cat that ever walked the planet, I didn't think it was fair to my new cat to get the same breed. I knew I would make the comparisons and see some elements of Jasper in a new Siamese cat, and be a bit disappointed that they were different. I went with a different breed (a Bengal). I love Kai to bits, but he is a completely different cat in every way imaginable. Well, they are both kind and smart as heck! But they don't remind me of each other at all - and for me that's perfect. If today you cry by small reminders of Duke around the house, or in memories AND you're questioning whether to get a Pomeranian for fear of making comparisons - I would seriously consider going with a different breed for now. PLUS, animals are hypersensitive to emotions. It might not be great for your relationship if every time you see a Pom, you cry. If, in the very very distant future you decide to get a Pom, great, but it sounds like for the time being a new breed would be good for you. And Copper is a great dog. His breed is known for being very friendly, smart, open with lot's of people, and very affectionate.

I would 100% recommend a havanese. They’re similar to multipoos but smaller, don’t shed and are super cuddly and easy to train

I also had a dog a consider to be my soul mate he was a pekingese named Jack. When he passed away, I was heartbroken, and I swore I would never get another pet. Two years later, I got a cat. That was the best decision. I say all that just to say, have you considered getting a cat. 😊❤

A Multipoo or Pomeranian have different characteristics BUT every dog will be different. You will have a new bond and you will be reminded of Duke no matter what breed it is. Turn it around - how nice would it be to be reminded of Duke in a dog once in a while? There will be a moment when you’re remembering while smiling instead of laughing so don’t make a decision based on grieve. You will laugh again and have a partnership with a dog. I’ve never had a Pom (my sister does) or Multi but I am a dogowner who has had the same breed twice.. still happy I did get the same breed. 🤍✨
I think you should rescue a dog as well. So many need homes and dogs that are mixed have less health issues. Wish you nothing but the best!!
Not you singling out the only two perfume brands that have shown support for Palestinians as the ones you no longer use with a tone of disdain in your voice. You’re not slick. If you say you’re not “political” and you’re not going to “comment” on what’s going on, then don’t attempt to sneakily alienate people. It’s great to see you back on my big screen! Happy 2024. I’m glad to hear the breakup wasn’t too traumatic. It’s definitely an adjustment. I’ve had 4 long term partners (2 years, 6 years, 8 years and 13) and they’ve all been amicable and i’m friends with all of them. I’m loyal to a fault. I’ve never understood people who suddenly hate someone they once loved with all their heart. I have neither the time nor inclination for bitterness or regret.

Had a bichon since I was 6 years old and devastating when we lost her when I was 22 years old. I waited a year to rescue a cattle dog chihuahua mix at 23 and now 26 and rescuing her was one the best decisions. I couldn’t get a white fluffy dog again would be too weird. Grey and black dog with short hair is so much less maintenance.
When we lost our Boston puppy after only 2.5 years (brain tumor) we did get another Boston. I thought i wouldn’t love her the same, but we really love the breed.
We need an update on how you do your hair daily including touch ups in between washes
I have a duo of a Pomeranian and a maltipoo, both are about 7 years old, lovely brothers to each other and very complimentary personalities. Maltipoo is really liyal and carring, always watching you always showing endless affection. I think it is a wonderful idea to being a spark of happiness by bringing a new puppy to the house.
So many fragrances! I'm a fragrance girl. You could get a fridge for them and store them, they'll stay fresh for many many years. Not a full fridge perhaps like a portable wine cellar type. That way they stay chilled but not too cold, visible and much cuter looking than fridge fridge. Much love 💖
We lost my mother in law last April to cancer and it's been so hard. Grief really is such a rollercoaster. I can't even put it into words. She had basically had adopted me since my family is halfway across the country from me and was like a second mom to me. Cancer sucks.

Remember a Pomeranian is portable! You can pop them under your arm and go. Pop them in the car or a bag! 😂. But whatever you decide to get they will become ‘your baby’ it won’t be immediate but a special bond will form for sure. Look forward to seeing your decision!

Glad you are starting to feel better and are still on good terms with Jack. Have you thought about perhaps dating someone who is not your usual type or expectation. Sometime the most unplanned and unexpected path is the path we need to go down. I.e. someone outside of your social, religious and economic circle.
If you’re looking for a good laundry scent I recommend an unscented detergent that focuses on actually cleaning and buying a laundry booster. You don’t need much and you can buy a couple so your regular clothes smell one way and your bedding could smell another way and so on. Anyway took me forever to figure this out but it’s my favorite thing to do now lol
Got a new dog 3 days after my pom died and it was the best destination ever any dog is a blessing and brings so much joy and love. ❤
I can’t speak to losing a Pom but I when I had to let my first Yorkie go, I thought I would never be happy again but another Yorkie puppy brought the Joy back into our life and home - though it is not the same and I still can cry for losing my soul mate. In same breed, they have many of the same characteristics but all have different personalities. Do it! But do it when you have a little time at home to string together so you can really enjoy the puppy bonding stage.
It’s been more than a year since I lost my Pom that looked like Duke’s sister. I couldn’t watch any of your videos when you lost Duke cause it still hurts me too much🥺 I’m so happy you are doing well & I can’t wait to get there some day☺️
I lost my beautiful pom and now have another, but my advice would be to remember that Duke will always be Duke and no other doggo is going to take his place, they'll just be a different little soul to love. I still miss my little boy, he was my soul mate, but that doesn't mean I don't love our little girl, she's just different. And you're so right - they're not the brightest sparks!!

magnesium truly has changed my life- i sleep better and im significantly less anxious. HOWEVER! Make sure you get either magnesium glycinate or a powder that has a bunch of diff types of magnesium. stores often sell magnesium citrate which is great but um.... mostly if youre constipated....iykwim.....

Amelia, have you ever heard of a Pomsky. It’s a Pomeranian and Husky mix. They’re so cute, small, and fluffy. A very friendly all white walked up to me to introduce himself one morning with his owner. I’m obsessed.
My brother has a little black Pomeranian Mitsy, she is divine..we have all fallen in love with her. She's such a baby. He was in a bad car accident and she has bought so much happiness
For me after loosing my cat Icarus, who was my soul mate cat. I still miss him dearly. I just waited until I was ready for another cat. Only until you spend every day wanting that companionship again should you get another dog. As for what kind. I just went by intuition. When you are ready you'll know what you want.

I would highly recommend you to get completely different breed, your Pomeranian will stay one and only. New dog will heal you much quicker.
When my beloved Pom passed I didn’t want a Pom again because I felt it was like I was trying to replace him. I got a toy Aussie. Why don’t you think about a Maltipoo / Pomeranian mix. They look so cute… I can’t imagine my life without pets. You can love another pup and that does not diminish your you love of Duke.

So great to see you back! Most of my fragrance turned bad after 1/1/2 years of Covid lockdown. I threw away my precious flowerbomb. There is a shelf life for perfumes for sure. To me once they smell different I throw away.

Yay so excited your back, after losing my chihuahua who was nearly 18 I went for a totally different breed (cocker a spaniel) as I was also thinking I would always be comparing if I got another chihuahua which I know is probably silly as all dogs are different xx
I did the opposite. I had a cocker and got a chihuahua. I can bathe her in the sink and she is constantly with me. Also almost 18. She is really my sweet baby girl 🐾🐾🐾

A tip: you have to keep perfume ín the box, ín your cupboard. Perfume is very much influenced by light, heat and moist! If you keep it in your cupboard ín its original box, it will stay good for years!
i have a maltipoo and i love my dog!! he is so smart and so playful and clingy and loveable :) maybe you can check though what type of poodle (mini, toy, etc) the maltipoo is bec they can be much much bigger than a pomeranian!

Just trying to be helpful-perfume shouldn’t be kept in a window sill or very light place, it should be stored where it’s more protected from the sunlight and heat. 😊
My maltipoo of 14 years passed away on Easter. He was my baby. He was my boy. It was devastating. And like you had mentioned the grief consumes you some days and some days it subsides. I had gone back & forth on whether or not to get another dog. I decided in august that I was ready. I got a puppy havanese. He is now almost 6 months old. I’m very happy with my new boy. However I couldn’t possibly get another maltipoo. I would have always compared to Harley. I hope that helps you love

@@ThePrincessnady1no I didn’t. I work at a rescue & I have fostered a ton. But I chose not to rescue for my puppy. I found a wonderful breeder in my state. I commend anyone who rescues. I am a vet tech and I know the challenges of rescuing. I’m grateful I can foster the pups.

Amelia please rescue. There’s no reason to buy a dog when so many are being killed everyday because of overcrowding. I’m sure you could rescue a Pomeranian if that’s what you want. Everything is available out there.
