As ebike laws become increasingly strict, we have to focus more on street legal ebikes.
This is the best California street legal electric bike I have ridden. Here are my favorite features:
ergonomics
suspension
aesthetics
throttle control
brakes
frame
wheels
basically the entire bike is perfect. It can conquer everything you throw at it without cops pulling you over!
Official Specs:
Motor: 750 watt Bafang brushless hub motor with 5 power settings producing speeding 20+ mph
Suspension: This is one of the biggest things you will notice. The Bullet uses a adjustable triple clamp 27 inch KKE front fork and direct mount adjustable rear DNM piggyback coil over.
Battery: 48 volt - 13 Ah Lithium-ion battery with an estimated range 20+ miles on throttle only (This depends on riding style)
Controller: 5 speed adjustable pedal assist and LED display
Brakes: Hydraulic brakes front and rear with oversize rotes for increased stopping perfomance
Wheels and Tires: The Bullet uses 20 inch x 4 inch wide Kenda tires for street and dirt performance.
Throttle Style: Using a 1/4 twist thumb throttle to keep compliance as well as the option to use pedal assist

This has absolutely gotten my attention, the room for activities in that frame is amazing, looks like he knows exactly what everyone will want to so with it!
Agreed! I also love the fact that he wears a full face helmet, I see a lot of people riding ebikes with bicycle helmets, at the bare minimum the should wear an nta certified helmet like xnito or bern hudson
Definitely gonna see alot of customizing with the negative space in the frame, and battery storage under the seat. You could go as big as youd like
watching your videos gave me the little push to start building my most involved project in a long time, seeing how much fun you have modifying and building a bike has brought me to turn my old beat up Honda saber into an electric bike and honestly I'm still in the takedown and planning phase but I'm already having more fun than I have been in a long time. keep being you my guy. I love the videos and they are great to sit and watch while I'm working on things all the time, I've always wanted a Surron since I heard about a hot minute ago but I cant get one with my current financial position but ill build my own alternative piece by piece. don't ever stop unless ya got to my man.

That would get a dual battery or large custom battery mod 72v 30Ah for sure a a 3k motor. A lot of room for a nice controller as well. Upgrade rear suspension as front good enough as well as has nice thick tire already. It won’t be street legal for long if I had it.

Thinking about knocking one up myself, already have a custom e bike but this looks so simple, could also add a storage compartment in the middlemwith hinges and a lock on it. Slot of stuff to customize too

@@BettyWhiteTheVibratorSlayer Yeah, there are plenty of EV's out there fsster and with longer range, but I am referring to off-road performance based on the suspension, a Scorpion would not keep up with P-51 on a single track.

Probably one of the coolest looking street bikes. Ive got a Delfast Top 3.0, its got the same suspension and is technically "street legal" as I can switch its modes to be regulated but one of these would be pretty awesome to have too. I like to Stealth grey color. The fat tires are pretty sick too. Id love to see this thing have dual battery hook up, 72v, and with a QS hub motor though.

Okay now I want one. My emove cruiser scooter gets me to work everyday and it's also street legal but during rain or cold seasons I want to use the curbs instead of the road (drivers hate me)
Perfect amount of room in the center to mount an AGNI 95r or Lynch motor, controller, and 72 volt battery... Bike is a nice design, great video. I especially like the part about being legal to zoom off and back on road as I've been doing that with motorized bikes for 30 years-and that's the best part-legal areas and also not so legal is great fun. I was only pulled over once in my well over 50,000 miles and that was back in the olden days of gasser builds with a hopped up Homelite XL925 engine the exhaust pipe had rattled off from -and the cop was cool AF. Anyway, great video

I am confused Sur Ronster maybe you can help me. In your video you say the P-51 Bullet has a 48 volt 20 amp hour battery. The website only shows 48 volt - 13 AH lithium-ion battery and 48 volt - 15 AH lithium-ion battery. Please advise. Thanks. Great video btw.

Pretty sweet! Needs to be at least 52v 1000w. I can see it now 72v 3000w hub upgrade, triple battery. The frame and suspension setup is just begging for mods!

I paid more for a lot of things that I modded.
Because the controller is inside the frame and not removable, I don't think you can do much modding to this thing without some serious powertools and welding

That suspension is nice. Though to be street legal and keep up with traffic the city 2 hits 50. Dunno how many been hassled yet for going that fast on the road with an ebike.

I would move the kick stand and put more batteries on it. I think a front motor might be nice also. Cool bike!

All the scrambler type E bikes out there, people are reviewing them for their off-road capabilities, and other than some grass, dirt paths, or some gravel, that's about as off-road as they looked capable of, this one actually looks legitimate for off-road use.

KKE is a dual crown fork, as most inverteds are.
Also, companies like Rockshox still call their 'triple' crown forks a double, as they don't count the lowers as a crown.

I think people forget that the KKE/DNM shocks are actually amazingly good for ebikes! It's just when you add a 150+lb bike to it, then it can't handle all that weight as well, but put it on a bike like this, and they will handle as good as dirt bike forks.
Would love to see you get this thing up to 60mph with a new battery, controller and hub motor. Maybe a HPC 6,000watt hub motor upgrade??

For my usecase I really need my ebike to have huge range
I live in germany
For my commute I go around 50 miles a day, +7-8 miles for each gym day
There is so much room in the frame for a custom battery, you could even just get 2 more of the stock batteries and mount them on the inside of it and route them in series to triple the watthours this thing gets.
