Can I buy a fan like this to use on a covered patio? I want to try getting an industrial fan for home use.
I recommend the Agrifan/Envirofan Platinum Line
I wonder if these blades move air differently compared to the normal style in down draft
3:45 Btw Vortice fans in Italy actually have blades that are flat like wood blades so they’re equally powerful in forward and reverse
Based on pictures they dont look perfectly flat
bro awesome arrangement and display
How true is it in your opinion that these blades spread the air as well as curved blades, like Leading Edge claims
I think in most cases, straight blade fans do a better job.
@@dspiffy Wait really? I thought curved blades were better at spreading the air outwards, like you always noticed in your Oregon shop videos
(if you misread this, I meant that Leading Edge always marketed their blades as spreading air outwards as much as curved blades. I was wondering how true you believe this is according to your tests)
Nice!
I was going to get 2 of these in 48 inch for my garage but found out they lock up when it overheats so I’m getting 2 56 inch curve bladed envirofan goldlines, what do you think about both
Gold Lines are my first choice
@@dspiffy yea, can you have the downrods cut at the factory or does it have to be done on your own
You are better off just replacing it yourself with the length you need.
I’ve been after the reversible version of this since I found out Marley pulled it from the catalog
Rick found this at one of the Habitats I used to work at!
Only saw these reversible ones, once. They replaced pull-chain Daytons.
I was confused why they used pull-chain versions since they were all powered off of solid state controls. Why install pull-chain versions?
The replacement to the pull-chain versions in the same install were these reversible units. They never once ran in reverse. And the reverse switch was installed in a box next to the upper canopy, could not be reached without a scissor lift. I think they got ripped off lol.
My school has 3 of those pull chain variants, they look like red line view fans and they are used on solid state
