Pandas are to be honest almost wanting to go extinct ...and honestly would be better as they suffocate other animal conservation. Pandas swallow millions each year while certain insects and other uglier animals would take less than a few hundred dollars to save ...but theire not marketable

That's the one Chinese species I _WANT_ to go extinct. We waste so many resources on an animal that is doomed to go extinct due to its own biological flaws instead of the thousands being endangered by humans.

The problem with pangolin is, when they're in danger, they ball up which only make them easier to catch. I grew up seeing pangolins but eventually they disappeared throughout the years. Our grandfather would use pangolins to get rid of termites/ants under his home.
It's ridiculous and outrageous that while China keep saying they're leader of science and technology, they still believe about fanatic traditional "medicine" BS to this day, and with such a high demand and price, they make any species extinct easily.

Saving endangered species is such a monumentally complex endeavor… It’s a process that requires the coordination and cooperation of nearly every person and community on earth. In addition to the education of nearly every population on earth, that covers a whole variety of topics that are endemic to the success of mass sustainability. Everything from economics, conservation, city/town infrastructure, sanitation, responsible hunting/fishing/resource management, health, nutrition…and most importantly, the very, VERY difficult (and sensitive) task of trying to change centuries (even millennia) of deeply rooted traditional medicine, cultural practice and religious ceremonies. It’s easy to point the finger and say *”those jerks should just hunt less and use less plastic!”* While yes, that’s absolutely true (to a degree) in most cases-and I wish it was as simple and superficial of a solution as that…. Sadly, it is SO much bigger and more complicated of a problem than just trash and responsible hunting. 🥺😞
