Hal: My wife and I really enjoy watching your videos! However, as an audio engineer, I must say that the balance between your narration and the music needs a bit of work. We can hardly hear your voice over the music in the last 2 or 3 videos! Background music is just that: BACKGROUND. Check the balance on you audio mixer to make sure the music is no more than 3/4 of the average level of your voice. (Less is best!) Keep up the great work!

You could spend three weeks doing the South Island alone. There's a rainforest, surrounding a glacier, the Queenstown and Wanaka lakes, the vineyards of Central Otago. Add all the outdoor activity you can ask for, year round, and you could fill three weeks easily.

Abel Tasman is definitely missing off this list. Much better than Hobbit which is man made and very expensive! Also, Queenstown is fabulous especially for adventurers. Even me in my late 50’s back in 2007 went hang gliding and loved it.

just a caution on piha beach its very unpredictable don't underestimate how safe you think you are there we have a show called piha rescue because of how dangerous this beach can be, its safe if you respect the beach
