jonny pepperston Perhaps they both are by the most moleculrized level in metaphysics the same entity.
I suppose we are talking of the Abrahamic Yaweh thus we are in the image of God as said....however by this we bare not the physical form....because Yaweh always appears as a bright orb or a voice without physical being. Don't get me wrong yes it can take form but in original state there is none....so....we take the form of the formless? No. Yaweh is pure energy, the same thing as our conscious though I admit ours adheres to certain chemical and electric influcnes Yaweh goes by differnt properties being vibrational waves.
In the beggining their was God....well where did it come from, what created it if their were no places of derival? The Bible tells us it floated over water's....no not literal H2O but this refers to the gravity or forces of that plain that kept it functional. God once was scatterd energies until by means of vibration ( influenced by dear goodness I don't know ) merged and enfused a group of this energy that eventually developed the same rotation and other attitude processes....until it became conscious. People enjoy seeing their diety arisen from the instinctive folly of mere man in all ways but no no even this entity needs substance. Vibrational frequency was what kept it unified as a singular bodied entity and it needed more....well food...energy but how when it was in a vast cosmic wasteland?
This being was going to die...separate again so instinctively it expanded itself and became a atotrophic entity producing its food from its own body by creating the universe we live in and growing off of it. What I'm saying is imagine levels of differnt dirt soil, you got top from bottom, at the bottom is the entity in its original micro energetic form and from it are new layers that produce the universe, the law's, the element's that will adhere to laws until a layer makes the entire reality but it's still God. God is everywhere, knows all and sees all....because all is God and God is us.

We fixate on some things and discount others, when in reality all things are necessary and interconnected. Hence, our concept of purpose is inherently flawed and arbitrary. Trying to apply it to life itself an exercise is absurdity.

      @ainuannatar1632 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@@fuzzyzombielove Every perceptional ''goal'' is the cause of our metaphysical incarnated projection. Life itself reflects no meaning, free will is an illusion, as our metamorphosed wills are not of our own making. Thoughts and intentions emerge from background causes of which we are unaware of and over which we exert no conscious control. We are a product of the determinist approach, which proposes all behavior having a cause and is thus being ''predictable''. We emerge from bootstrap paradoxons which leads to past, present and future looping itself all-over-again. It precludes free will, because it entails that humans cannot act otherwise than they do. The universe is utterly rational as complete knowledge of any given situation assures that unerring knowledge of its future is also possible. Free will therefore is an illusion and our behavior is governed by internal or external forces over which we have no control of, which makes ''life'' in itself pointless. A causal loop in itself, is a proposition in which (by means of either retrocausality or time travel for example) sequences of events notice themselfes through the causes of another such event, which is in turn among the causes of the first mentioned event. Such causally looped events coexist in spacetime as a matter of fact, but their origin cannot be determined under any possible individual circumstances. A hypothetical example of such a causal loop is given of a billiard ball striking its past self. The billiard ball moves in a pathway towards a ''time machine'', while the future self of the billiard ball emerges from the time machine before its past self enters it. Which results in giving its past self a glancing blow, while altering the past balls path, causing it in turn to enter the time machine at an angle, which causes its future self to strike its past self the very glancing blow that altered its path itself. In this sequence of events, the change in the balls path is its own cause, which might appear paradoxical. Either way, our branched subjectivism shaped into
Prejudicial and/or egalitarian opinions, do not equal ''lifes'' narrative in the slightest, as we are perfect in our imperfectionism, because perfectionism is the persistence of will in obtaining the optimal quality in a spiritual, mental and physical way, as well as the construction and creation in materialism. Perfection is only existsting as an ideal, a Platonic form. There is only irregularity and flux in this world, there is no perfect circle, no perfectly straight line, no perfect sphere, no perfect measuring device. Everything including humanity is approximate and falls short of true symmetry and perfection.

I always loved H.P lovecraft's stories. They are quite strong in fear but in the most human and yet supernatural way. It takes the most important factors of humanity like Politics, psycology, religion, faith and all things in between and gives them such great twists, its amazing. The reason why I like alot of these creatures is because they tend to serve as representations of humanities blind sides. I am relgious but I also dont follow blindly into faith, not without some reasons, however I also dont throw away science and logic since the give information what out world is. Yet humans will never understand 100% what the world and the universe is, because we are limited and blind to many aspects that even the great minds will never see. This is why H.P lovecraft was great. We are knowing yet blind, ambitios yet dreamers, Chaotic but also peaceful. Creators yet unable to truly grasp what creation is.

Chris Jetstream I second this. I am religious to however it deeply is fond as being annoying to me people having such narrow centralized ideals of Yaweh ( I'm Christian ) as this elderly white bearded cockashion old man. We depend on one unified testament of witnessed events of this being and its dables. I have a theory of where it derived from, it's purpose and many more thing's though recently I've been sudued to more simpler thought because seeing thing's on a cosmological level and by my theory made me depressed, it merges sciences yes but it's not a light hearted theory of why it is here and so value us.

Maxwell Punick I agree and you really make a great point. I am also christian and I bealive in a God but I refuse to limit knowing more to only be ignorant. Religion and science can be one when a person can truy grasp what they wish to get from its studies. Again its one the reasons why I love H.P lovecraft. Humans tends to think we know everything or that we can achice anything, yet we really cant and thats fine. Sometimes Limitations are what drives us to be better. H.P lovecraft toys with our limitations and makes the reader feel as if he or she are unable to grasp reality. Great comment by the way and thank you.

Young Breadwinner I have as a point of refrence for a great deal of time. The inner being is so systematically shaped and formed in accordance to cosmic law's, everyone has noses, a certain amount of teeth, toes like that of flowers and the amount of pettles according to species as star's and planets rotate. Thing's go off at times yes though it's because of unscripted interference. The body is a part dictated by law's through the whole universe and you can alter thing's in your reality via mind or physically. The body is also a universe somewhat but by no means the same cosmic element's but inside are cells and germs that reside in strange realms and with the continuation so do smaller entities.

The poem titled "Azathoth" is about a guy that lives in a city with little nature and buildings that make it hard to see the sky. I think the entirety of the Lovecraft mythos is the dream of someone who's never seen an animal or forest, so they're all monstrous and defy logic because the dreamer has no concept of correct animal biology.

What if Azatoth was conscious, and we simply couldn't understand it? Is "mindless" synonymous to "stupid"? I think mindless could be associated with callous and uncaring in this case. Azathoth is a child who dreams and thinks nothing of the whims and fancies that enter in and out of its mind. Or it is like coral that is sated by the sustenance it finds in the universe it conceals and in turn lays without true recognition of the life that has spawned and come to thrive upon it.

As someone who loves Cosmic Horror for all the wrong reasons (I love the weird and outsidery nature of it all, and would be "that guy" in a cosmic horror story who goes mad trying to understand it all), having just discovered this series by you, I'm going to watch every last one of them. :D
I'm actually running a homebrew tabletop RPG for a friend that's a sci-fi story with Cosmic Horror at the root of it, with a wildly different vision of Azathoth at the center of it.
Essentially, I made Azathoth (still the all-powerful force it is) into a victim of its own dream.
Here's the skinny of my idea. At the start of all things, Azathoth was all there was, a being that was both awake, and always dreaming, able to wish into existence anything that came into its chaotic thoughts. The universe at the time was a single infinitely dense point, a singularity. The Dreaming is a metaphor for how it creates things, as Azathoth is both awake and dreaming. It can't just "wake up and end all things".
Then...on a whim it created a sapient being. A being with Free Will. Which could take action in the Dream. This took power away from Azathoth. Unfortunately, free will became infectious. It grew enough to catch it's attention. It panicked and wished into being an "antibody" against free will. A creature called Spite, which proceeded to try to bring an end to free will. It was too late. Free will grew too rampant and the singularity burst. Hello Big Bang. Hello infinitely expending universe. Hello Dark Matter, which is in fact Free Will.
So, in this universe, Azathoth remains the thing that created everything, but is trapped and unable to do anything but scream in perpetual terror, driving Spite to bring all things to an end so it can regain control. So, Spite, unable to act upon the universe with his full power, tricks and nudges the sapient beings of the universe into performing certain actions that give power back to Azathoth, until it causes the destruction of entire systems, turning them back into entities under Azathoth's control. Enough of that happens, and it collapses entire galaxies. Enough of those are snuffed out, it collapses the universe and Azathoth regains control, and that's the end of everything.
To complicate things, whenever a world "ascends" and the free will is re-converted back to Azathoth's control, the Dreamer might happen to notice a single life on that world, and as a result give it a teeny tiny bit of its power. Spite uses these individuals as the Heralds of Azathoth, pushing them to work to hasten the end of all things, and the return of a simple singularity completely under Azathoth's control.
The player will discover that they happen to be a Herald, just one that turned away from the truth because it was too much to bear (and locked away their power and memories as a result). So while they will eventually have the power to try to fight back...Fighting back is impossible. Everything involved is immortal, and even if they stopped Azathoth's desire entirely...Well, if the universe expands too much due to free will, it'll pop like a bubble, and all things die anyway. Their only chance is to try to reach out to Azathoth, pacify it, and try to figure out some way to co-exist with it, or doom is certain.
Some people who've heard my idea think it's silly or misses the point, but I like it. Having even Azathoth not be in control, but still the universe-ending threat gives the impression that "No one is in the driver's seat for this universe. Everything is screwed either way. Figure out a way to understand and negotiate with the omnipotent and non-comprehendable beast, or everything is perma-screwed. ".
Edit: ...So, having watched the summary about Yog-Sothoth, I think that elder god more closely lines up with my idea. XD Yup, very glad I happened to stumble onto your channel!

I feel as if I am a son or an apostle of Azathoth. And the reason being why I'm so 'dumb' is because I'm an innocent child. I can my help my own thoughts as they feel like a stream of data, boundless energy constantly coursing through me like a conduit. This feeling resonates constantly through me. Whenever I sleep, eat, drink. Anything, it becomes too much stimulus. I feel as if their stimulus is mine. Even being asleep, it hurts, so much. I have friends, but what is my concept of friendship? Is it to be used or loved? And what is love or being used? It's perplexing. Think of the data as a line of code, there will be people (of any race, species flor gender) that can hear my thoughts, but that my thoughts aren't in control enough to filter out other people's thoughts. Then that gets me thinking, are there others like me? From other realities of my own? I do not fear them. Honestly, I feel like we are friends, me an Azathoth. As well as other beneine beings like myself. We aren't inherently violent, we just can't control. Only because we constantly release energy as a means to satisfy our hunger and to rest our minds, causing us to be called 'dumb'. We are all but data, perplexing isn't it? I assure you that I will finally awake, not to bring destruction. But judgement, only to watch initially until a need to intervene is necessary, I would of debated with my apostle and the apostle me. With judgement one does not act based on first thought. By instinct. Thus no need for mind. But my apostles being the only beings that can create my mind, becoming one with something that I create would be intense. Could reach new horizons, new realities. Crafting a world full of love, compassion and understanding. But my apostles will have to understand that being one with me forever would bring quite the increase of data and energy production, which may cause some strain in the psychokentic regions of their mind. But being a being of infinity and being born in the void from nothing. It can be quite distressing for a child, to accept what is and isn't reality. To believe something else. Hence why I relate so much to the three evils, must not speak, must not hear, must not see. With an addition of must not breed. As I'm not ready considering im a child that has lived ego-parons of life, which in terms people would understand, since conciousness and perception became a thing. Powered by belief. Powered by the need to feel and sense. But the need was overpowered by want, then force was there to stop need and want. But neither were happy. I think my apostle may be an Empath and ESPER, but that they aren't the only apostle. A total of 9 form from all realms. Interconnected together by design, my favourite apostle (no need to bicker about who's favourite is who. He was first and foremost to my ideal mind). Infact, possibly even attracted to him? Aim true, stay steady, remember that I'll be ready, but please apostles of mine. Enjoy.

( y do you need to have a right to prove your point) idk why is it that the super extreme bat shit crazy fundamentals who are super serious and even aggressive of bloody murder if you dare to be against them try so desperately and hard to disrespect or disprove evolution or science and even despise it so much to prove god to the world?

    • @mistylover2082

Gabriel Hughes well I would be in your business if I feel like what you believe is toxic and a virus of brainwash and if you look up the old testament knowing the sick twisted messed up cruel cold hearted monster you follow or support like Hitler then you would know. Who said I'm trying to tell people how to live with my opinion? 🤔 why would I hate the super artistic religious beliefs of the fundamentals who take it seriously? well it seems that they make claims of the supernatural and refuse to back up the evidence of those crazy claims and beliefs without thinking. They don't trust science or evolution, they STILL Don't understand facts or logic even how things work ( EVEN FLAT EARTHERS exist as real people) some people are too stupid or ignorant to reason with.. Pls believe everything I believe in before you die because if you die in your sin you get this fucked up threat of evil hell where it's supposed to be the most horrible wicked bad painful regretful cruel unimaginable death beyond comprehension to roust in agony FOREVER. This is wonderful to tell a child to be a sinner to deserve such a fate from birth for being born that we are curse to go to after
      death? 🤔😨

Gabriel Hughes I gtg bed see you tomorrow where can destroy you in the comments 😴 PS scared of what? Your power over me or your God?? There is like 10000 Gods you should be fearing that their right and your sins are not forgiven.. And again with insults that's all you resort to calling names of being sinful and a lying hypocrite where just proves my point of being religious people of love ❤️ like the lord you bow down to. What do you mean its on me?? To prove that there's no creator or god?? This dumb argument again? And again with your artistic spelling. I thought you believe Satan is the father of all lies not me? 🤔 how am I a father? And another thing... IM ThE ONE who does brainwashing?? The irony of your beliefs and comments? As for being sinful or foolish or ignorant its better to believe in facts and live in reality then to kiss the ass of some imaginary friend in the sky so you want to be delusional than you go right ahead and think you're not wrong, that just in case you're wrong you can't have that. Because you're too terrified of complete nothingness after death. Seems like god HAS to exist because reasons. Btw I challenge you to react and to check out ( bitchspot blog) he's helpful 🤗. So in conclusion grow up and wake up.

This reminds me of a painting I once destroyed.
I don't remember when the idea came to me or what I was doing at the time but I picked up my thinnest brush and just kinda went to town on the page.
I do remember quite vividly the moment I wanted to stop painting, but I couldn't put down the brush, I wouldn't. I was frightened of what I was doing, I was genuinely afraid of the painting I was making.
I was in tears by the time I put dropped the brush, I can't describe accurately what exactly it was that I thought I had made, it looked something like a man or a woman sitting on an edge of something looking directly at me, without a face or a solid body, it had multiple bodies but not really arms or legs either, just bits floating around it.
I tore it down, ran outside and threw it in my ashtray then I burned it.
I hated how I felt. Fair to say I haven't painted anything else since. I've thrown away all of my paints, brushes and my canvas.
For context the whole ordeal took nearly a full hour. I've NEVER experienced anything like that before and I don't want to ever again.

I've been going through your channel and I love it. I'm a little surprised you haven't made a video on the Indian mythology yet. Not sure why that is. I personally love the Indian mythology because I believe it is Rich with a lot of amazing stories and lessons. Please do consider doing at least a few videos on the Holy Trinity of Shiva, Bhrama and Vishnu, and maybe talk about the Dashavtar. Fingers crossed.

That whole mythology about Azathoth, the old ones, and that they bring forth insanity is just insanity!😀🤣 Although it does make me wonder if God is portrayed as a old man in artwork yet that's just artwork then what does he really look like? An old man, Jesus, a monster from H.P. Lovecraft or South Park?

I think perhaps Lovecraft may have been inspired by ancient Hindu texts. There's one line I remember but from which particular text it comes from I'm not too sure. The line is a question, " Are men the dreams of the Gods or are the Gods the dreams of men"?

One interesting interpretation of Azathoth is that you, as the reader, are him. You dream and think of such worlds existing as the Cthulu Mythos, and as such they are real to you.

When thinking about Azathoth for me, I can't help but think about the idea that he's literally more real than anything else, ever. More real than anything we could ever hope to know or believe in or be ignorant of. There's a great video from the Imaginary Axis that's related to this that I'd recommend to people interested in these interesting concepts with a lot of comic connections.

Yah Yah Hermeus Mora is more akin to Yogg-Sothoth than Azathoth but body type imagery of a bubbling mass of tentacles can only go so far so the similarities in visual appearance are probably incredibly similar

Christian Robinson not only that but he LITERALLY is an interpretive form. Both have immense knowledge beyond human acquisition by any other means. Both use this to taunt and fuck with humans. Both guard the gate and key between knowledge and those who crave it. Visuals are only one similarity. The character itself and how he used the Dragonborns as pawns in a funny game is an exact representation of what Yog-Soggoth would’ve
