@@swfcocs1 definitely but in terms of that industrial hip hop feel, Public Enemy is number one (hehe) Eminem probably the GOAT imo even tho i’m constantly changing my opinion
@@SeekerofTheElhohim this is well known, it's been said in SEVERAL interviews. You had to at least know that he wrote 911 is a joke right? Or did you think those were Flav's bars😂😂😂
I remember in the summer of 1990 in Rochester New York. Public Enemy performed and someone in the crowd yelled at Flav. A Guy told him to get his black azz off the stage. In return flav roasted the hell out of him for 20 minutes then he sung this song just for that one guy. The crowd just fell out laughing in tears.
@@cupriferouscatalyst3708 I remember exactly what Flav said to the guy. He said your mama titty's are so saggy they look like feet. He said the bich fell down and kept walking.
I live through this time. And I can tell you that this song was the jam for people to dance to in House parties which people don't even do anymore, and flavor Flav was so different from every other rapper out there that he still stands out to this day. The man is musically talented and is an amazing lyricist.
The mans a genius, he took the performance art of a clown, mixed it with some 80s crackhead vibes, threw in some relatable hitting lyrics and produced this work of art, Respect Flav 😑

Old Hip Hop/rap Like Public Enemy,BDP,Gang starr, etc. so many positive black Artists. Came across Educated with messages. Nowadays the unlistenable rap needs a positive message, instead of glorifying crime and abusing women and how rich they are.
As a European white person, for me, when I was still an early teen, Flav's quirky humorous style was a gateway to enlightenment on black oppression. He's a living legend. MAX respect to him and PE

Flavor Flav had a chicken restaurant in Clinton, Iowa. It was called Flav's Fried Chicken. It opened in 2011 and wasn't even open for a year unfortunately.
Public Enemy , still a totally different level to any hip hop artist these days....
death grips and Armand Hammer only groups that come close for me
@@user-fs1lc2cj5s you may have a point, I'm more old school, KRS one, Run DMC and NWA are the other greats for me, though you can't deny Eminem TBH

Today's Rappers? Hip Hop/Rap died out in late 1990's, I don't know what this auto tuned garbage is today.

Flav wasn't no punk lyrically. He always surprised me with the sense of his flows through the silliness and theatrics of Flava Flav videos.
Was going to say this, Flav was underrated lyrically.
A Mega Blast Convinced Me Of That, Flav Could Definitely Rhyme🔥🔥🔥💯💯🔥
