From Bulgaria. Attention!!! Putin's agent is once again irradiating you with Kremlin propaganda! The goal is to convince you that sanctions are useless!
Tell those Russians their goods are needed in Africa and around the world. China dominates the market but Russian goods are more durable. They should expand.
You can’t just take goods and send to some country (especially so far as African countries). You need to open misc centers, spare part deports, organize delivery… while Russia is further away than you can think, Russian ports de facto in other part of world, delivery is complicated and need military protection against West, so it is also very expensive. For China is it easy, their ports are closer, they opened own bases in Africa from 1990s, they not need military protection. Oh, you also forgot main thing - for buying Russian goods West against such buyer accept sanctions, personal or against whole country :) In StateDep whole special department which for decades watch for deals with USSR/Russia and trying to prevent them.
Over 12,000+ economic sanctions and all have had little or no effect on their overall economy. The same vehicles here in The United States would cost twice as much as these Russian vehicles. Interesting video Russell ... Thanks 👍
13:55 the most buses working on cities routes are heavily loaded mosnings and evenings. To avoid passengers stepping in driver's watch zone and ease drivers entrance (most actual for trolleybuses) this different entrance was made. The first bus manifacturer made this separate driver's entrance was Ikarus with it's models 260.37 and 280.33 which were designed for USSR.
The Europeans pulled out and their Russian partners bought their assets. From what I read they did leave a large trained industrial workforce, which would be to Russia's Advantage. The downside for Russia is that China is now dominating certain areas of the industrial truck market in Russia. Their product is imported, not built in Russia. If they built them in Russia they could be subject to sanctions. In 2023 they jacked their prices by 30%. (with no Europeans, there was no competition, and Ruble/Yuan conversion hurt also) I got the impression old European/Russian enterprises are supporting the Chinese based market in Russia, that was unclear to me in the article. It was written by this guy, Vakhtang Partsvania. I know that the Russian government sees this industry as part of the country's critical industrial infrastructure. So they will support the domestic side of the industry.
@@rossiskaya From the July 2024 article in Riddle I was reading by Vakhtang Partsvania "While in 2021, the share of Chinese brands in the medium- and heavy-duty vehicle market was around 10% in 2021, it had risen to 30% by the end of 2022 and exceeded 55% by 2023. According to data for January-April 2024, their share reached 62.4%, with the Chinese brands in the tractor and dump truck segments accounting for nearly 80%. The total number of Chinese trucks registered in the country has already reached 205 thousand vehicles, exceeding the number of all European brands except the Swedish ones. KAMAZ’s share of the market, on the other hand, fell from 38% in 2021 to 22% by the end of 2023 and to 18% in the first five months of 2024. Moreover, in 2023, KAMAZ trucks for the first time lost the lead in the Russian market to a «foreign truck» - the Chinese Sitrak C7H tractor. Given such trends, it is likely that in the near future the head of KAMAZ, following the president of AVTOVAZ, will soon announce the threat of «Chinese expansion» to the Russian automotive industry and the risk of reducing production by up to 50%, and call on the Russian authorities to urgently protect the domestic market from «the obscure Chinese brands». In parallel with the growth in market share, the Chinese have been raising the prices of their trucks (by at least 30% in 2023), due both to the change in the ruble/yuan exchange rate and the increase in the recycling fee for imported vehicles, and also due to reduced competition following the departure of the «European Seven» brands. Given that truck sales in Russia reached a post-Soviet record last year, it is clear that Chinese truck manufacturers have a significant advantage in the Russian market, as they do not yield to their compatriots in the passenger car segment production in terms of profit volume."

There is a relatively inexpensive and simple Lada Vesta car (class B according to the European classification). The Lada Aura model is the same Vesta, only stretched for the rear passengers by 25 cm and with improved interior trim (genuine leather on the seats). But otherwise it's still a small car for 4 people with a very simple suspension, 125 hp engine and CVT. The model was created for junior officials and for working in a taxi. An electric version of this model was recently introduced.
Always good to see you showcase different aspects of Russia. Surprised the hiway tractors were all cab overs, something you don't see much of in NA anymore.
There doesn't seem to be much space for the bus driver in those enclosed cabs. Multiple doors are a good idea as makes loading /unloading quicker along with card readers. Blue interiors seem to be universal with buses. This is interesting subject & thanks for filming this. Did you know Russell ,that Australia had it's own version of Cape Canaveral .Check out Blue Streak & Black Arrow Rockets of the 1960s .How about a video of training to be Bus/Truck Driver .
Most of the Trucks look different from the ones I see here. I enjoyed seeing the different buses. I haven't used any bus transport and there is nothing available for trains in my state. 😊
It's easy to understand why the driver's door on some buses on all trolleybuses are on the right. It is made to let the driver to go out safely 😊 To assist disabled passengers or to set back trolleys if they slip from whires. If a driver does not need to go out that much the door is on the left 😁
