The main thing I don't like is they aren't repairable. Don't understand why they didn't use their Proto USA line to make these V series if they are supposed to be the premium models. I have the Craftsman 88T USA ratchets and I was more than willing to spend the $65-75 ea for em for the quality they are.
I wish they had made the 1/2" drive a few inches longer. Like 18" or 19" long instead of 16" long. Its on a few inches longer than 3/8" drive. I also wish they were serviceable too, but yhe flex head design and yoke is superior to the standard style for sure. After soaking the head in oil for a couple days and running it in an impact driver for a couple minutes, the back drag cleans right up.
16 inches long for a 1/2 drive flex head ratchet isn't that long. Most are in the 17-18 inches long range. The ratchet head is built like a tank. I like the ears being in the ratchet head instead of the handle. What I don't care for, is the ratchet head isn't serviceable and although the ratchet is fine tooth, its back drag is very high. I also wonder if Stanley Black & Decker (SBD) owner of the Craftsman line is discontinuing the V series or trying to get more brand recognition by offering these Christmas deals. The launch of the new Craftsman V series was poor at best. the three piece set on sale at Lowes is a good deal. Thanks for sharing.
Keep checking back, they've been restocking. I went through that with the ratcheting box-end wrenches. I thought I missed out, but got lucky a week or so later.
@@c.j.rogers2422thanks. I actually was able to find these yesterday, walked in and the employees were setting them out; they said they got lost with all the stock in storage
Just got all 3 delivered a couple days ago, $20/ea. Outstanding deal. Still on sale at Lowes.
They're good ratchets..at the sale price 👍

They're ultimately repairable. If it breaks, I'll take it to Lowes and they'll give me a new one.
I just grabbed them for $59...holy cow!

These are some of the things that 'should' of been discussed in the video. It was more or less just a 3 min marketing video.
Can’t beat the price

Would love to have these but all the Lowe’s near me are out of stock and I can’t buy online
