Are the 18mm clip replacement better than the 20mm? I see some people recommend the 20mm. Do you know if all the rad power bike racks use the same size hardware clips? Thanks for making this video!
Howdy, love these RadExpand 5 videos. I just purchased one…the info. you present is so useful! A Q: The Ortlieb BACK-ROLLER DESIGN in this video is listed as 16” H. I have the battery case from RPB for the RX 5. It’s 18”x4”x6” Can the back roll be left more unfurled for extra height, yet still maintain it’s waterproof functionality? Thank you sir!
Thanks for this. I've always used Ortlieb classic Rollers on my bikes. They are the best for me. So I've been looking at the RadRunner models and it looks like the racks on them are thicker than on the RadExpand. Can you confirm this? I ask because I'm in Germany and we don't see that many Rad BIkes around here. I'm not 100% sure, but I think 20mm are the largest hooks they have here. It would actually impact my choice of bike. Thanks.
Love your videos. The RadExpand 5 price has gone from $1299 to $1499 and now to $1599. Nice bike but hard to justify given the Lectric 2.0 is now $999 and XPremium is $1799.

I've been using the 18mm and they snap onto the Expand rear rack perfect

You just need to get at least 2 folds on the top of the bag to keep all water out
