Check out the WSI digital slides from this case: kikoxp.com/posts/2866/. A complete organized library of all my videos, digital slides, pics, & sample pathology reports is available here: kikoxp.com/posts/5084 (dermpath) & kikoxp.com/posts/5083 (bone/soft tissue sarcoma pathology).
Remarkable slides + great presentation with practically helpful contents + easy-to-understand language! Thank you very much. Please keep doing such remarkable works!
Anyone know of any support groups or anything. Be nice to join a community of others that suffer from this so we can talk about treatments and what works etc.
Thanks you Jerad for the great case. Can you get follicular MF without the mucinosis? How would you distinguish follicular MF from eczema localising to follicles - is there usually a greater degree of infiltration of lymphocytes into the follicle epithelium in MF compared to eczema (besides all the immunos)? I always find this challenging
Yes you can get folliculotropic MF without follicular mucinosis. Some argue you can have follicular mucinosis without MF (I tend to agree with this) although others say all follicular mucinosis is MF. Follicular MF vs follicular eczema can indeed be difficult. Density of infiltrate and presence of mucin both make me worry for MF (clinical info can be helpful also but boy always as foll MF can look very different from conventional MF). Immunostains and molecular are often needed to confirm diagnosis (clinical follow up also important to see if process persists/progresses over time). MF is a difficult area that I still struggle with.

@@Evanzie FB has a few T-cell lymphoma groups. I haven't found a specific sub group for folliculotropic mycosis fyngoides
I've just been diagnosed with FM 😔 just came here to learn something cause there isn't anything online
Same. FMF diagnosed via skin biopsy x 2.

I'm very interested in immunology and just learning so forgive my amateur question what did you use to stain the CD3?
It's an immunohistochemical stain. Uses anti-CD3 antibody and DAB labeling for brown color.
