I love Nick.....someone once said, "You look like younger Gena Rowlands"...what an honor. Her son is gorgeous Nick. Gena and husband John should have had several Oscars...When Nick talks about how his parents made films as a team...she was holding back that tears...she loved John so much and missing him so dearly. I enjoyed listening to Nick and when he said what his mom once said "I can do anything"......(I'm not bragging, I am sincere) Its cute because I once said that to someone...when they asked me how did I do that?....I was just being honest..I really like and understand Gena.
I love this man! He is genuine and direct ~ How magical it must have been to grow up as the son of John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands. The Notebook is a masterpiece.

I watched Gloria years ago and was so moved emotionally. I didn't realize I was watching a Cassavetes film then and I saw A Woman Under the Influence recently. I am now watching all of them. These films are so much better and more interesting than 90 percent of the cooking cutter-formulated films put out.
They were a winning team, Gena and John, very wise interesting people, think they were the best, know I respect them and think John was a Genious and she was his partner.
