Out with the padlock and in with the cling film! More and more passengers are turning to cling film wrapping manually or in the airports using baggage wrapping machines to secure their luggage's.

I was so hoping he would show how he carefully releases the handle at the end so that I can actually handle my suitcase before checking it in and ...he did! Thanks so much for this video:) Is pallet shrink wrap film ok? The title said it's also suitable for luggage when I bought it? :)
it is also good to do two bands of gaffer type tape over the wrapped case, makes it harder to roll back the film by the thief and then wrap it back.
Very quick way to take off a baggage handler as it makes handling so much more difficult. Cling wrap is very hard to grip with our gloves.
2005 in Israel, was a presentation of different kind of "special film" luggage packing machines for the airports, the reason was, to find a machine what can reduce the damage from theft.
Where a machine was presented, what uses three layer of special protective sleeve film material, to seal the suitcases air tight and protect it from mechanical damage, by sliding the suitcase trough a special thermo tunnel. During the sealing there was also some aerosol installed in the wrapping, so if damage accrues, an alarm was triggered. What also sends a signal to the police of unauthorized access to the luggage.

It would work better if you flip the roll over and put a little tension on it.
But the luggage goes through X-ray machines before going on the plane. If something is put in the suitcase after X-ray it cannot be yours can it.
Instead of arguing with immigration or local police with your aspect , I believe wrapping is way easier than makin sm1 understand ur logic

Shrink wrap and cling wrap are almost the same thing. You can get some of this in dollar tree.
Is it necessary to wrapp it with stretch film instead of tape?

I have heard they tear open the wrap which is done at home or outside the Airport for checking.. They dont tear open which is wrapped at Airport.. Is it some true or just crap???
They can open your suitcase for different reasons. If they see something through the airport x-ray machine, they will ask you to open it so they can check what it is. When I was in Utah, my suitcase was randomly checked, and they left note, it was a bit messy but nothing was missing. If you are using padlock on the zip of your suitcase, you better use the TSA lock , they have their way of opening it without destroying.

I don't know where you're at, this entire roll is less than $20 in amazon. You can use it for many travels. There are also cling wrap in dollar store, and 2 rolls or $2 should be good enough to cover a medium size suitcase.

Yes you can do it at the airport. But they charge well too, if you know what I mean. You do this to protect your suitcase from theft.
As a handler. I hate this soooo mutch. Makes it Impossible to handle, especially when people cover all the handles. Its should be ileagal, especially in regards to the enviorment.

Cling wrap, stretch wrap. This is basically like the plastic wrap you use for your food.
Can we use kitchen cling film or where do we buy strong cling film?
Shrink wrap and cling wrap are almost the same. Shrink wrap is cheaper though, you can get some in dollar tree or michaels

it is important if you travel in the Philippines to avoid bullet planting scam
Cause those fuckers at the airport know how to open your luggage zipper with the pen and close it back so you will not even know was open

I had this done by a professional machine in Spain. When I arrived in the UK every bit of film was taken off!!! Waste of 10 euros. I have had cigarettes and tobacco stolen out of my suitcase.
That's a shame. I think this could happen anywhere. If they want to open your suitcase, they will find ways to. Did you complain to the airline?
If you travel to Vietnam. They will say your baggage has been lost if they can't go through your baggage. :-) They stole the whole thing.
Hah! I had an internal flight in Vietnam and my padlock was off when I got it back. Nothing was missing, but I keep all my valuables in my hand luggage.
