I was terrified of it at first, but then I grew to love it and it really planted the seed for my love of horror, seeing this, so passionately well made, hitting all the points as well as including some of the most iconic scares in there (But my favorites are the eyes, the skulls, and the soldier) Not a lot of people love or know this game but oh my goodness, for someone to make something so industrially and recent, implying that there are people out there who still love games like these such as Ib and Mad Father, I truly appreciate you for this
Izzy Swerdlove Yume Nikki is probably the best rpg pixel horror game, in my opinion. The surrealness and creativity and subliminal messages is amazing, as well as the game's art and design.

If the creator was to make any kind of "sequel" game I believe it would be playing as Ellen and getting her backstory but that's what the books are for, OR if there was an actual sequel to the game after Ellen lives on as Viola it wouldn't be very fun and probably wouldn't have the best story. I believe the ending was made that way so the player can interpret what they think happens.

Cyber Animations There's a manga that was created based on the written story (a story taking place before the game that is canon, I think) that the Creator of The Witch's House himself created. An artist took that story and made it into a precious amazing thing. Just google "Ellen's Diary, The Witch's House Manga" and boom, you get the gem. It is UNDERRATED as hell. It's literally one of my favorite mangas. You should check it out.

It's dreadful knowing that Viola dies from the despair of having her life stolen away. Even with death nothing good awaits in the end. This was quite impactful visually in telling the story. Very well done. 👍✨

The blonde girl looks like Marisa (cause her clothes desgin and color is pretty similar) And the red dress girl looks like Reimu Hakurei (Cause Reimu did wear a headband and her design is red too) XD
