They have everyone watching their videos and they are scanning the comments for people talking about the strange things they may have witnessed. As this channel returns time and time again to known groups of interest, and even explains lesser known ones like Fifthists, we still have yet to see a dedicated video doing a deep dive on Sarcicism, the counter point to the Mechanites; though the group had been brought up and breifly described a number of times.

i just see the correlation between A) how old the overseers are, B) the black moon being referenced in both the overseer's lingo, one instance of SCP-001, AND the poem from SCP-2456, and C) how fifthist text always finds fifthist ears (what, you didnt see that from the tales of the cultures?) leads me to believe that the entire reason anomalies and the SCP foundation exist in the first place, is because this IS the fifth cycle. The overseers who arguably founded the foundation would've had the gospel of the fifth ready to preach, and with the more people they infected as time went on, aka, the SCP foundation itself, This is How I Died being SCP-5999 (note the 5 attempting to kill off us, the readers), and how anomalies ONLY became prevalent once the foundation was created.... SCP-2456 might've already caused damage to reality, making anomalies

You're sitting at home alone, watching an SCP Explained video on TH-cam, listening to the narrator's mellifluous voice, which is somehow intense yet calming - and then it happens. A mispronunciation. You can scarcely believe your ears, but there it is, distinct in its rarity.

Yes, it's an uncommon word, known to spoken at least six different ways, but what you hear is none of those.
What can it mean? You cast your mind back to the many other SCP Explained videos you've watched. So very, very many.

Fifthism is literally my most fav religious group in SCP lore. They're so powerful even Chapell, the leader of the Chicago Spirit, was afraid of them. A freaking high level reality warper was afraid of them!

I think you should give 682 to the serpents hand. I would really like how they would integrate him into society. Honestly I would just like to see them try but he’s intelligent enough to go along with the plan until he’s released I think. With the foundation he knows there is no release, only containment so there’s no reason of behaving but I wonder if you would be spartan off to figure out the serpents hand. After all they might just give up and agree to try to eliminate 682.

But no joke, since childhood, I've found the number 5 quite comforting. I used to count steps in increments of 5. I'd be told to do a set of 8 squats and would instead do 10 because it is two sets of 5. I often buy things in increments of 5. When my anxiety gets out of control (like, far beyond my usual), I start talking in sentences five words long. With my usual anxiety, I often just press my fingers together in taps as I count to 5....
It's not even my favourite number (I like 3, 7, and 21 best), but it's just... I don't know. I learned basic multiplication and division in preschool, and 5 was easiest for me to pick up. Maybe that just stuck with me.

I remembered when I first read into Fifthism, I giggled so many times at the sheer nonsense yet realism of it all.
Why do files on the SCP Servers always keep getting corrupted? Do the IT Personnel Really like playing Rhythm Nation - Janet Jackson in the room out loud? or just screaming their lungs out til they can't no more directly at the drives? This is really concerning...
If their file security is really that bad, then how the hell do they keep this place running without failure? they are probably running these things on RAID 0! There are probably entire SCP Documents that have been corrupted just because of their poor negligence of their storage servers...
You ever heard about how in Christianity that the father the son the holy Spirit is equal to one, as a individual. I remember one time when I was sitting in church and my pastor said somehow one plus one plus one still equals one. My Revelation came about what if it wasn't Plus but times. You know if you mathematically times one into itself at the same amount equal to pi it will still equal one. I mean if you infinitely times one times one times one times one times one continuously. So in that case could one as an individual be a whole universe within itself? And could the mirror perception of all the other ones that came before it create multiple dimensions? Like if I play a video game and I perceive a two-dimensional video game character on the screen as a three-dimensional object my mind has given that object it's third dimension right. Since the third dimension is really not there. And how does the video game character in the video game that I perceive in three dimensions perceive its video games?

To the point where I was thinking that this SCP is what inspired "When Day Breaks". There are connections one can make between the two besides just that as well. There are references to the sun all over the place, points from the star "sparring with each other", people being transmutated into other things or simply vanishing (first minerals, then things, and in "When Day Breaks", mutant blobs of flesh that seem to have a reverence and/or telepathic link to the sun itself, referring to it as their king, ect)... The links are all over the place.
Imagine if the IHC breeched containment and he was infected with SCP-2456 and reached a population center

That said you need to look into the PenRose pattern, it's about space tesselation. It is clear you can fill 2D space with squares and trianglesz but not not pentagons. EXCEPT YOU CAN. Using the pentose pattern. And if you look into the math of it, you discover that it is connected to the golden ratio, which is based on 5, and everything in nature is based on the golden ratio. Therefore, the CK-scenario has already occurred and we're living in it, believing that's the most natural, efficient and beautiful thing.
