I've changed my wardrobe drastically in the past year because I'm finally discovering which clothes make me feel good. I feel so much more confident in masculine clothes and thrifting has made the wardrobe change so much more doable.

Hey! An idea for containers next time, if you have used up candles. You can reuse the glass candle container for cotton swabs or reusable cotton cloths or whatever! Plus using reusable bags and stainless steel or glass straws are easy, eco friendly switchs to make if it interests you!! :) Great vid and have a nice day 😁
Also, cloth napkins! I've seen them by the dozens in linen sections of thrift stores. Same section usually has towels great for cleaning rags if you don't already have your own, and you naturally won't have to spend a lot of money on something you plan on getting dirty anyways.
I am so here for plastic-free recommendations! I love the idea of reusing empty candle jars - some of them are so pretty too so it is a win win situation! I’m currently looking at getting stainless steel straws, a safety razor and a bamboo toothbrush because of TH-camrs and comments like this, so thank you for helping make the planet a better place! 💗

I’m working on a capsule wardrobe of sorts right now, and because of it I’m shopping at goodwill with lists and it’s been an absolute pain!! The goods news is that I love and cover everything that I get so much and I enjoy the hunt. I am vegetarian so I don’t buy leather first hand, but I wanted a leather jacket, so I got the most beautiful luxurious leather jacket for 14 dollars the other day after searching ALL summer. I went in just yesterday after spending all month looking for a loose button down, a chunky knit sweater, and glass bowls, and found all three, beautiful, and exactly what I wanted!!! It was so exciting. And the trip at the beginning of summer, I went to Salvation Army and searched for 4 hours, but I got beautiful perfect leather loafers, cotton tees, and jeans that were perfect to cut into shorts. I just love it
Hearing you talk about the anniversary made me look back at all your videos and realize that I've been watching you for like 4 years!!!!!! Through me breaking up with my ex of three years, dating my currenr boyfriend of two years, graduating high school, And moving to Spain and back. Damn lol

You didn't thrift it but I really loved the black bag with the golden alligator handle I wish I could buy it but I don't even live in America. I'm suprised you have so much variety in these stores especially in the shoes and bags sections. In Poland all the things I found were really ugly and were either very tacky in a 80s/90s style or were older than myself and were made during the communism. I wish we had thrift stores as good you have, the only good things we have are second hand clothes that are imported from various western European countries. If you walk into a thrift store here you feel like you have time-travelled to the 90s but NOT in a good way. Anyway I'm so jealous you have so much cool stuff in your thrift shops and that's why I love watching all of your thrifting videos - I get to see what it's like to live in America.

I always have a thrift-list on my phone! You're right, you never know what you're going to find, but at the thrift stores near me you can usually find good generic pieces. For instance, right now I have on my list "black pencil skirt, black belt, white turtleneck". For the most part these things are in every thrift store, in multiple sizes, styles, textures etc, so I know I don't have to buy those items new. If I need something a little more personal, it goes on a list titled New??? And i still look for those items in the thrift stores, but I just acknowledge that its probably less likely to find them used, so i don't waste a ton of time hunting for them, but if the universe provides them to me thrifted then its a bonus! Potential "New" items might be something like winter boots...here in Canada I find that there are plenty of winter boots in thrift stores, but every time I've tried them ....they LEAK. Needless to say, winter boots get used and abused in the great white north. ANyway random comment but I love your vids and always appreciate list-making! :)

I finally found it the other day at this ugly, old looking thrift store of all places, that my friend and I just happened to decide to go to for the first time, and I was so excited when I found it! I looooovveeeee the picnic-basket style purse you got, and I am so happy for you that you finally found the bag you wanted! I also agree with what you said about being patient and waiting to find things you want because I also recently found a red skirt that I had been looking for for a long time and, if you leep looking, you're eventually going to find what you're looking for, but that's also the fun part of thrifting, you never know if today is gonna be the day you find that long sought-after item or a surprise treasure you never knew you would love!
