When a tornado is blowing in your town, furnish your long term storm shelter well. Wise Pliny.

Great talk and +1 for mentioning beer inside 3 minutes :) - Interesting lecture that was well seasoned with humour as well as insight.

Two years up and two comments, I'm commenting for year number three! Lol. "Particular 'ify' personality", I love it! When I was a kid I watched the King of Kings on TV once every five years or so. I always wondered if he wasn't a victim of people's hates for homosexuals sissies. This is back in the late 70's/early 80's with me so, there were no terms about it back then like now, and most people agreed with that hate then, at least in the small town I was from. So in the film... When they took Jesus there to have him killed and Nero does not kill him, but only was fascinated by him and was amused at him sending him to Pilate did in fact make me wonder if he wasn't an okay cat... Just saying...

Nero was not even born yet during the time of Jesus and Jesus never went to Rome. The story you're thinking of is Jesus getting sent to Herod Antipas, the Tetrarch of Galilee and the same guy who killed John the baptist.

@@Ken_Scaletta but yeah, you're correct i was thinking of young Herod, i guess maybe the actor played Neo also in a different film and I got confused, sorry! Lol

@@ianstukenborg437 Nothing to be sorry about. It's kind of an obscure fact. Mel Gibson's movie also makes Antipas look very Nero-esque.
