One of the craziest men I had a pleasure of listening to with my dad back in the day. I still love this one.

My papa earned his right to deer hunt all season by coon hunting from Jan 1st to the end of coon season in enc. He was retired on a fixed budget. So we did this as much as the law would allow. To some it might seem like torture. I remember walking bear trails by moonlight from age 6 on helping papa gather coons in a jones/onslow County nc swamp. If the moon won't out you had to navigate by sound. Lights didn't last but so long daring those days so you went in the dark till you got to the tree. Papa I miss you so much. That was the most fun I've ever had. The thrill of the dogs treeing to us getting to them. RIP papa I'll never forget you

Americans seem to be losing their regional accents and dialects. I think we will all be poorer for it. There is beauty, history , and culture in the way we speak.

Rev Jim Bakker once had Jerry Clower as a special guest on the PTL Club television show. They were on a stage outside in the summertime and Jerry Clower told Rev Bakker, "It's hotter than a buffalo in a log, drinking corn whisky!"
