My wishlist: Cyber Machine Duplication. Literally just the same card but with Cyber in the name. Maybe change it to "original attack of 500 or less" just so Clockwork doesn't stop it from working. Cyber Mass Production? Or for giggles, make it a field spell that just lets you do a Machine Duplication effect once per turn -- Cyber Assembly Line. A Link-1 that does something cool. Draw 1 if used in a Fusion? Banish self from field to negate an effect targeting a Cyber Dragon or Cyber Spell or Trap? Call it "Cyber Dragon Flickerei" -- Flickerei meaning "to patch", as in a software patch. Maybe a Link-4 boss? With the new Machine Dupe it would be pretty easy to get to. Have it specifically require 3+ Cyber Dragons so you can make it off of Seiger, but it's spiritually the next one up from Cyber End Dragon. Give it a badass name like Cyber Dragon Finale or Furcht (Dread). Give it an effect where the summon can't be responded to. Then make it a Going First tool, something like letting it negate one each of Spell, Trap and Monster effect per turn by banishing a Cyber Dragon from the grave (face down if need be). Link 4 with 3 CyDras is enough that it'll hamstring you getting out Infinity in the same turn, but it will happen sometimes. Finally I'd kind of like to see them go back and give the deck a Tuner and a Synchro monster. Cyber Dragon Müll, meaning Junk, as the Tuner. Make it Rank 3 just so when added to Cyber Dragon OG it becomes 8, like Twin. Give it 2100 DEF so that Nachster can grab it from the GY. And then the Rank 8 Synchro, Cyber Dragon Doppelt (Double), can do something like powercreep Drei out of existence by just passively making all Cyber Dragons Rank 5 (including itself so you can roll it into Nova), and then search a "Cyber" Spell/Trap OR Cyber Dragon Monster from deck/GY on summon as a hard once per turn. Just a big combo extender, summon it for the effect and then roll it into Nova, use Nova to resummon something and then Rank Up Nova into Infinity. Or if you were really fucked up you could have it make all Cyber Dragons Rank 6 and cut Nova out of the game entirely (and allow you to summon more than one Infinity per turn easily).
Just two monsters. - One link 1 that when its summoned, lets you choice one of this effects. *search a cyber spell/trap from your deck to your hand. *target a machine monster you control, gets unaffected by cards effects. - A lvl 4 or less (or even a lvl 5 with out the level up effect) monster that can be special summoned by discarting a monster from your hand, becomes a lvl 5. If a machine monster you control is targeted by an opponent card effect, you can discard this card from your hand to the gy, negate the activation and if you do, destroy it.
i think for some cards to make a gimmick-like functional deck 1 link 1 barrier, when is link summoned add 1 machine duplication, with an only machine summon restriction, and in the GY a protection effect like balelynx. another link 1 like "cyber valley", 1 tribute effect for draw 1 or seach 1 cyber spell/trap, and banish from the GY to end the battle fase. 1 link 2 monster as Laser, 1 trigger effect for destroy or send 1 card from the field to GY, and 1 GY effect to add limiter removal 1 level 3 cyber dragon monster can be special summoned, in the summon you can special summon 1 "cyber dragon" from hand or deck, and becomes lvl 5 like some infinitrack monsters, to replace galaxy soldier and a new material for cybernetic overflow 1 xyz rank 5 like "evilswarm nightmare" or "Constellar pleiades" effect , a once per turn non-negate disruption, to replace pleiades/vimana in the extra deck in a second xyz play after summon infinity, 1 trap or counter trap like orcust crescendo, 1 archetype once per turn negate/disruption and follow up effect in the GY for recovery. It's just my opinion to make a deck more similar to others like speedroid or salamangreat, that benefits from playing its own archetype only

I came up with a couple cards I think would help. First is a level 3 tuner that special summons itself from hand by targeting a face-up Cyber dragon you control and also makes the targeted monster level 5. It also adds a Cyber dragon monster from deck or graveyard to hand when it's used as synchro material. Then there's a level 8 synchro that targets a cyber tuner monster in grave and special summons a Cyber dragon with a different level from grave. It can also send a light or dark machine fusion from extra deck to grave to search either power Bond or overload based on the attribute
I think one of the BIGGEST improvements to All Cyber Dragon decks, although the hardest to execute, would be if they errata all effects, so that they say "Cyber dragon MONSTER" instead of cyber dragon. Imagine how much more amazing Cyber Revsystem would be. Special summon herz from hand, Special summon Nova and infinity from GY. Beautiful. EDIT: An extra deck monster that acts as Core would be INSANE. Also if Cyber Dragons had an extra deck monster that could TOGGLE(if you choose to activate the effect or to leave it, resets every Your standby phase) BANISHMENT. So we could Have it off when we wanna use Chimeratech Fortress and Megafleet to contact fuse opponent's board, OR, Turn the effect on (probably when we're about to end turn) To make ALL Opponent's cards sent to the GY be banished instead. Kinda like a Dark Law but for Cyber Dragons.

@@nostalgicnighthawk Mhm! Also after thinking, I've realized Cyber Dragons don't have many defenses. They have negates sure, but you have to use it up to protect yourself or you're gone. A Raigeki from season 1 will do us in going first. I think a "Full field" Cyber Dragon type Protection from destruction card would be nice and also fair, since there's so many other things that can deal with you without needing to "destroy"
I think something like the link 1 would be really interesting. Most games with no interruptions are usually otk. But if not even if I did get a good board, the opponent most of the time has like a one card combo... I dueled a zombie deck today and after a good board on my part and a lot of blocks on his part with 3 on the field (nothing crazy) and 2 hand cards, he played 1 monster, synced, special, synced, synced and destroyed like my hole board while doing so... Then he went for game... I could be wrong but a crazy combo like that on CD? Dunno man... We got a lot of good searchers and some very good combos, but most are way too fragile.
How about a trap card for going first Hypothetical name for this one: Cyber Emergency Exit It's effect could be something like tribute one cyber dragon monster so you could tribute an infinity that's already used it's effect this turn and when then you can set one cyber S/T from deck to set overflow or cybernetic fusion... Then again tributing infinity wouldn't do to much with overflow since infinity has a rank not a level but it's materials might
maybee i would want something more potent or something that gets us to infinity easier for a going first card so we at least set up a negate very consistently
I think a way to get a cyber dragon from field to grave in engine would be great. Like an in engine almiraj or something. Doesn't even need an effect just a link one that is a cyber dragon monster so you can fuse it. (I haven't seen the whole video yet so maybe you covered this)
Maybe the link one could special summon or add one level 4 lower cyber dragon monster from deck mainly to search or special herz to make use of its special summon effect
I think for going first they could retrain barrier dragon where it’s in the extra deck (xyz, link, synchro, or fusion even ) but has an alternative summoning condition where if any extra deck cyber dragon monster is sent from the field to the graveyard you can special summon this card in attack. It cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. (Then maybe apply a similar effect to the og version) It only lasts for one turn. Then maybe they could copy the one blue eye’s synchro and you can special summon the retrain laser dragon. I dunno just an idea.
they should def do something with barrier for going first, have some way to easily summon it and give it something like you mentioned where it has some indestructibility. Maybe just once each turn so it isnt OP

The one thing is if cyberdragon gets better/consistent at going first I can see fortress being a problem.
Knowing Konami, whenever they finaly retrain Barrier/Laser they probably gonna Be a synchro duet Because 15 card extra Deck aint tight enough, they could Retrain cyber Valley or Larva as link1
i want a cyber dragon tuner monster, im not sure what effect to give it, since you have to balance tuners carefully, but being able to synchro into things like barrone could help the deck see more competetive play
I'm not so sure that's the route I'd want it to take sice so much of the deck seems to want to lock us into machines. Personally I would want another main deck monster that's about as good as core and maybe some new link monsters. Sieger is awesome and we could use more like him

If you really want you can already with Stardust Synchron und Stardust Illumination both as two-off. Gets you into Baronne or Savage Dragon or even other Synchros. Depends on which CyDra you revive with Nova.
@@maddinliciousthe power tool braver dragon is what I’ve been looking into. It helps cyberdarkness set up more negates. It is a level 9 so maybe the infinitrack xzy cards would be good along with cloudcastle for recovery.
draw power, cards to control the opponent (I mean that he can go first without any problem), easier to access his fusion monsters without costs or absurd restrictions (at the same time new fusions that are not only for the otk) and greater consistency or being able to combo with 1 or 2 cards and really do a lot with that.
Cyber Dragons need their own version of Amazoness Warchief. A Level 5 that special summons itself from the hand if you have no/all Cyber Dragon monsters, is treated as “Cyber Dragon” on the field & GY, sets a “Cyber” S/T from the deck or a Power Bond, both effects being a HoPT
Cyber dragon nano link 1: negate a spell or trap card activation but pay life points. also a lvl 2 monster that allows you to special summon a lvl 4 or lower cyber dragon monster to the field. And finally a lvl 5 monster to replace galaxy soldier. We have the hand traps we have the big boys, but we don't have cards to back up our plays. Added: maybe also a xyz lvl 2 like herald of light: discard 1 card special summon 1 card from graveyard and 1 card from hand.
The deck needs better fusion monsters or more efficient means of being able to bring the current ones out and protect them. As devastating as cards like Chrimeratech are if they go off, they can’t do much if they’re destroyed prior to battle or if your plays attempting to get them out are inhibited. Maybe create a new Cyber Fusion spell that works similar to Miracle Fusion ON ITS OWN (Chimera and Power Bond are not good) and gives the Fusion Summoned monster an additional effect that gives them protection in some form.
Link 1 that add overload fusion(something like it) and banish all cards from grave to protect machine monster from effects. Super good, but very vulnerable to hand traps Or a turner that special summon a cyber from hand or grave. And a synchro boss that special summon a infinity
I think you on track possibly a broken fusion spell to fill gaps. Possibly like a shaddoll/branded fusion like card. But deck needs 2 to 3 cards to be good.
I wish Evolution Burst said any "Load fusion" that way we could search cyberload fusion as a backup play when our power bond or something inevitably gets ashed or negated, I'd say the main issue is cyber dragons just lose to disruption, sure if core gets negated or drolled or something you have plays next turn, but...thats if you get a next turn...If they retrain barrier and laser, they could make them level 5 and special summonable by themselves or a new support quickplay spell, that solves the issue that you said of needing galaxy soldier
What if Cyber Jar was retrained as a machine? It keeps its classic effect of special summoning level 4 or lower monsters to cycle into herz, vier, &/or even drei. As a link one that also clears an equal number of cards as it summons would make it relative to overflow.
It needs a 1 card combo. A cyber dragon X that says: when you normal summon this card you can add a cyber monster. You can normal summon 1 cyber monster in addition. You can banish this card from the gy: add a power bond. For the rest of the turn you can only ss machines from the extra deck. I think that one card could do the job. It would also be balanced imo
Drei but with an inherent summoning condition. IMO and fuck all Evolution end burst should have been treated as a cyber card… I’d love a link 1 but I feel like that’s definitely wishful thinking.. a combo between barrier and laser dragon would be dope as well.
Gotta love how the link-1 doesn't even need an effect to make the deck better lol. If they just print a link-1 vanilla machine monster that requires a cyber dragon I would be quite happy to play it. If it had an effect that helps us get to our fusion monsters it would be awesome though
Honestly yeah, in some capacity it doesn't even have to be a cyber dragon. Just a generic machine link-1 that uses any one machine monster would go very far in helping the consistency.
God I love me some Cyber Dragons! One of my favorite decks to play and was the deck that got me into playing at Locals for the first time a few years ago. And man is it ever satisfying whenever I can just OTK my opponent. But it's so fragile and going First with Cydras is rough. I mean it is cool to bring out Cyber Dragon Infinity and whatnot, but even it's not enough. What it really needs, and there's alot of really good suggestions here in this video and the comment section, is more Archetype specific support to help with consistency and more resiliency. Hopefully we get some more support in the near future.
We have to aknowledge the biggest issue Cyber Dragon has right now: Chimeratech Fortress Dragon. As long as this card exists, Cyber Dragon can't be a meta deck and can't even dream of being a going first deck, because everyone is just gonna run one copy to completely wipe their opp's board without spending any resource whatsoever in a way that can't even be negated.
i guess what would be some things to help solve that? You can play around that card I bet but that might be little challenging and def hurts cyber drags.
I love Cyber Dragon. My favorite since GX era. But hard to compete after Future Fusion erata n Ash everywhere... Cyber dragon have decent amount of good monster already either in main/extra deck. Like Infinity for negation, Megafleet for Link counter, End/Twin/Rampage for dmg, Sieger for ez link, n small cyber dragon as subtitute... What they lacking is another way to bring body to the field when effect of normal summoned monster is negated. Cz yeah Ash on 3, while anti Ash is limited/semi-limited. Imagine if they hv quick spell like spright starter, summon low lv cyber dra, but count as extra normal summon? cz Drei n Core is need to normal summoned, n then just make it lock into machine or something. Or spell to discard 1 cyber to summon cyber dra from deck/ a machine token? or Link-1 also a choice, but cyber dra already hv alot of extra deck monster. Oh... oh.. or maybe a Field Spell... since Field Spell these day kinda crazy. If cyber dra hv 1, must be amazing...
1st thing that has to happen is a link 1 cyber dragon. This would allow us to get another cyber dragon on the field while also being able to go link 2 into Cyber Dragon Seiger without wasting another Cyber Dragon. It would also be nice to have tuner monster & a synchro for the archtype. Last wish would be some sort of archtype floodgate weather that's a field spell or continuous trap card. All the good archetypes have at least one
This deck definetley needs more Xyz plays on turn 1 and maybe more Xyz supports. Also, a Cyber end dragon retrain that work like Alternative ultimate dragon
combining drei and vier into fünf would make sense, so a card that specials itself if you summon cydra, that turns your cydra´s into lv 5 monsters, also print a new fusion spell searchable with dragon core

We need 1 machine duplication only for cyber monster and that card cannot be negate that will be better for cyber combo and more support like 1 link 1 that help we search cyber spell or speacial summon cyber dragon from deck(use 1 effect) and if we use 1 of that effect we can send that card to the GY to summon 1 machine fusion lv5 that will be good for my cyber dragon deck
Cyber dragon gets a high power spell with duality and clockwork. Looking at the rush duel cyber dragons there are several cards that can be reworded for tcg, that can really help the consistency.
But still no searchable staples, also Clockwork is meant to be played in earth machine decks and duality can be played in almost every deck. We nedd something archetype specific
Chimeratech’s are the board breakers especially with Clockwork. Clockwork also gets therion king Regulus for a negate and you also have the cyber dark package to add more negates with Cyberdarkness Dragon and even have a real boss monster with Cyber Dark End Dragon. The Overload fusion searcher isn’t bad but unfortunately it needs six instead of five, making the cyberdarkness perfect alongside it being 6,000 with a negate that can attack six times.

I really love Cyber Dragon. I used to play it for 3-4 months coninuing evolving my deck against variuos matchups (at my locals it's like playing YCS). I'll first putting my decklist explaining pros and cons. Main 40 3 cyber dragon 3 cyber dragon core 3 cyber dragon herz 2 cyber dragon nachster 2 cyberdark claw 1 cyberdark chimera 2 galaxy soldier 1 jizukiru kaiju 1 dinowrestler pankratops 3 cyber emergency 2 cyberdark realm 1 cibernetic horizon 2 power bond 2 overload fusion 1 cyberload fusion 2 clockwork night 1 cyber repair plant 1 cyber revsystem 1 evolution end burst 2 lighning storm 2 black hole 1 change of heart 1 called by the grave Extra 15 1 cyber dragon sieger 2 chimeratech fortress dragon 2 chimeratech megafleet dragon 2 chimeratech rampage dragon 1 chimeratech supreme dragon 1 cyber dragon eternity 1 cyber dragon twin 1 cyber end dragon 2 cyber dragon nova 2 cyber dragon infinity As side i used to put something in particular to counter traptrix/labrinth like denko sekka, dimensional barrier and some handtraps to put instead of the board breaker. So what i've noticed is obviously confusion from the opponent on where to hand trap, removing machine duplication cause it's a more obvious target to ash for example. I've noticed that this version can literraly eat handtraps, giving very good way to fuse and even xyz, focussing on the wipe boarding with fortress. I decided to not play traps (like cibernetic overflow because it's too slow considering that if you use core in order to make the otk you'll difficoult want to search it) It's very good cause every mini engine put me in a situation where i can fuse from field and especially from the grave where the actual meta let you play pretty decent with it, even against kashitra with arise heart and dimensional shifter. It' very difficoult to brick (every now or then it happens) and i used to have very good strategy to going to, the only thing that this deck lacks it's protection. Eternity prevents from targeting, but against Branded it's litterally game over (we all can agree that branded has the best engine and ways to recycle resources) because even if you can wipe the board branded will put again all his monstern on it and it's not possible to otk. My personal nemesis was Eradicator Epidemic Virus declaring spells... I think maybe a rapid spell that gives immunity will be sufficient. Or somenting like Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon that has the rapid effect to be immune. That will be sufficient in my opinion, like galaxy eyes (quoting only because it's another otk archetipe) that they have better protection and a good engine (even if i think it bricks more)

Overflow doesnt feel that amazing to play, like its a GOOD card but its just isnt compared to what other decks are capable of. Like you said, its just a little slow. Some immunity to our cards would be nice. Like Eternity gives us SOMETHING but it isnt enough and requires too much set up. Some more protection would be great!
@@nostalgicnighthawk Not to mention Eternity's Protection Effect isn't a Quick Play either, so you Have to remember to Banish it on your turn otherwise you're screwed. Now if there was an Eternity Protection Effect but it was Quick-Play instead might be helpful. Think Misc for Cyber Dragons.
I have two reasons to believe we'll be getting Cyber dragon support sometime soon. The first is more reasonable, I'm sure Konami wants to give the ocg players new cards to boost the tactical Try deck. The second is definitely more of a reach. We're getting a blue eye structure deck, and the last time we got a blue-eye structure like it was immediately followed by a Cyber dragon structure deck
you dont need machine dupe or the other one to get nova, you can use any of the dragons that become level 5 on normal summon, there are a couple whos names become cyber dragon on the field
I played Cyber Dragon during the Academy Festival in Master Duel and I loved how if you go first, the goal was to go into Cyberdark End Dragon. Then if you go second, you go Rampage and OTK. A more consistent way to get Cyberdark End Dragon would be great. The usual combo of getting 5 Cyberdark monsters in the GY to summon Darkness just to Tribute it is too long and vulnerable to disruption. Looking at Cyberdark End, it just needs 2 Material; Cyberdark Dragon and Cyber End Dragon. Horizon can dump 1 of the materials. We just need a way to dump the other one. That new Overload Future Fusion seems like step in the right direction. You Horizon for one of the materials, then OFF the other, and you're all set to Overload Fusion your 5,000 immune to 99% of everything beatstick. Except OFF steps on a LEGO brick and prevents you from summoning the declared monster that turn. Then I feel like we need better things for Cyberdark to equip too. Most of the targets you can choose from will just do nothing except take up a S/T slot. Herz would at least give you some value if it goes to the GY again. Definitely need some more baby Dragons that can level adjust like Herz but do it to all Cyber Dragons like Drei. And it would need 2100 DEF. That way you could discard it for Nacho, SS it back, and make your Rank 5 play from there. If it's a baby Dragon with 2100 DEF, maybe it could also be a baby Cyber Barrier? That way if you have to sit on it, it can perhaps send a Cyber Dragon to the GY to block an attack, provide a Waboku effect, or just straight up end the battle phase. A retrained Cyber Laser could be a quick effect pop by sending a Cyber Dragon from Deck to GY. That would be cool. A Rank 2 that can SS baby Cyber Dragons to the Zones it points to would also be nice. Maybe with the restriction they can't be used for Link Summoning?
i can never get Cyberdark end out consistently enough to justify running it. A card that would help get that out easier would be great! I do like claw and cannon as equip cards actually! But the main problem is there arent really good targets to send. There ARE targets but a more impactful card would be good. Konami can do a lot to help out the archetype and i hope we see some support soon!
Adding to everything else in the comments, Errata Machine-dup so that its always treated as cyber card xD or Make an archetypel one ...isnt Broken enough ^^ Definetely Agree with the defensive cyber Barrier Retrain suggestion below and I also think cyber Laser could have an More aggressive retrain as well
Cydra just need as much love and support as hero deck. I dont want cydra to be tier 0 or 1. Link 1 cyber dragon and cyberdark. Protection from card effect ... But to be honest, i dont think cydra is the priority of komoney ans unfortunatly, i don't think it will change :/
I think if barrier get retrained into something to setup turn one for protection so you can get to turn 3 to otk that would make the deck not meta but better turn one
I think yes monster to help set up rank but also sets up cyberload fusion so you can utilize it going second way more consistwnt. Also cydra needs atleast 1 more good main deck monster, because its always shit if you normal core search emergency, and what will you search then ?
Negate and protection and a faster flow to fusion focus more we have unga banga but a simple disrupter screws us if we get are fusion card targeted and negated we are screwed

and making the deck more fusion focus infinity is ok but most of our main cards are fusion cards like give us a field speel like how cyberdarks have but one just for cyber dragons that like the dogmatica card that blanket protects our cyber dragons from card effect besides are on
All 'Cyber Dragon' and 'Cyber Dark' monsters on your side of the field are unaffected by card effects. Once per turn you can add one 'Cyber Dragon' or 'Cyber Dark' card from your deck or graveyard to your hand, if effect is negated you can add two cards from your deck or graveyard to your hand.
The archetype lacks cards that generate card advantage. Right now all cards go neutral or minus except for machine dupe which isn't even searchable and dies to almost any handtrap in the game which is really sad
Idk why but I also like to see if there could be some Cyber Dragon that utilizes the other Special Summoning like Synchro and Pendulum just for the sh*ts and giggles lol

También le falta algún monster del main que haga recovery, recupere cartas del gy al deck para que tenga recovery y consistencia

I like the idea of a tuner and synchros just to give it something new. First would be cyber dragon funf 600 atk 2100 def level 4 tuner Blah, blah, blah, name becomes cyber dragon blah blah blah standard shit. - "if you control another cyber dragon you can special summon this card from your hand. You can special summon this card once per turn this way. If special summoned this way you can declare a level between 1 and 5 and this cards level becomes that level and if you do you can not special monsters except machines for the rest of the turn." So this would open up synchro options as well as another lvl 5 for nova. Wanted to fit the 21 in so it could be a target for nash. First synchro. -Cyber dragon armament Lvl 5 2100/1600 synchro 1 tuner + 1or more non-tuners Blah blah blah treated as cyber dragon blah blah blah once per turn you can target one cyber dragon monster or card that lists cyber dragon as fusion material; equip this card to that monster and it gains the follow increase its atk by 2100 and can make an additional attack during each battle phase. A bit lack luster alternatively could give it the armades effect or piercing. I wanted to play around with the idea of Ultra polymerization so ideally using nash/herz plus funf making rampage summon them back to make armament which makes the armades effect probably the better option. Lastly the boss synchro Cyber dragon beyond Lvl 10 1 tuner + 1 or more non tuners 3300 atk 2800 def "Gains effect based off the number of cyber dragons used as material apply the following 1+ can't be targeted by card effects 2+ gains an additional attack 3+ gains 2100 atk 4+ ommi-negate or towers" Kinda phoning it in with that last part but it just plays around with the archetypes inconsistent levels aswell as funf's level mod capabilities. Overall all this doesn't really fix the deck a whole lot since its just throw more big numbers at already big monsters
Nothing about the content but the title feels weird. Like "what does cyber dragons" sounds off to me somehow like when you feel like you've said something wrong or spelled something wrong but can't quite tell what's off
no no i get it XD I have made some titles where it doesnt really make sense but all the key words are laid out nicely and in a shorter sentence so it is more easily readable. It should say "what does the cyber dragon archetype need to be competitive" but that is too long
As cards definitely a new cyber laser and cyber barrier ( there spel/trap to be actually cyber cards this time) and Cyber Barrier effect tu be ,,This card can stop one atk and his stats atk 0 def 3000 and Cyber Laser same effect and stats 3000 atk and 0 def. And sometimes else......maybe some of the Rush Duel Fusions you have to check them out interesting effects with one downside you have to send the top card from deck to the grave and apparently they have a fusion between Cyber Laser and Cyber Barrier........maybe a new XYZ monster to make it ontop of Infinity or another,,Core" since the moment Core's effect it's negate ur done......
Wait, Ash negating Cyber Emergency doesn’t kill it. Ash negates activation of the effect and if Emergency is negated, you can discard and get it back and do it again.
Cyber dragon needs their own hand traps like honest in machine from and they need a Synchro they own stuff help against other negates cuz there's too many gates of interruptions start a dragon needs their own counter interruptions and negates
I'm a Cyber Dragon die hard player, all time favorite archetype and Deck to play, it's awesome at what it does in terms of OTK but that's about it, the biggest problem with Cyber Dragon is that it's too fair of a deck unfortunately. It has all the tools to break boards and take some wins, maybe a searchable floodgate card would enhance and make the deck more competitive in the today's format!
@@nostalgicnighthawk unfortunately no, clock work night is more of a board breaker card through contact fusion, a floodgate is a lingering effect ultimately restricting play e.g royal decree stops all trap cards so its good against labyrinth and trap tricks, for Cyber dragon to be relevant it would need a flood gate to slow other decks down to bring other decks down to Cyber Dragon's level, until then its really only an OTK deck. Don't get me wrong with duality coming out it benifits cyber dragon, summon rampage dragon with power bond to break the board, if you haven't achieved the OTK through that then activate duality to summon out cyber twin dragon ect to finish off the job during the battle phase. I'm actually looking to start up a yugioh podcast and would love to host you on it to have an episode talking about all things Cyber Dragon!
Cyber dragons can never be top tier. If it gets too strong, everyone will just put chimaratech fortress dragon in their extra deck and boom, your board is gone at 0 cost
You can't expect your favorite archetype to be META ! All the dams time ! That's wishful thinking, every archetype gets new support that really puts them on the map every 5-6 years , with so many other archetypes how do you think the other players will feel ? After they invested in the deck for Soo long ? So many years , get real
Yugioh honestly has become so wordy with its effects😅😅😅and combos take so long now instead of the back and forth it used to have😮Cybers (and most of the decks in general) need more consistency so that no matter what you draw you can play
CDs have so many cards that do nothing... Or have huge inconveniences for a decent effect. Waste of card ink. Chimera is a good example: why does it have to be spell/trap and y cant i fuse with GY if i dont search power bond? Like dafuq is this? Cybernetic fusion support: pay half your life for a overload fusion effect without the fusion part.... Um hello? Evolution end burst is garbage, chimera should allow us to search overload fusion as well. Cyber lazer dragon is not a quick effect, barrier has to be in atk mode. This is ice barrier tier of embarrassment. I dont agree with getting a link one because it can end up getting banned like SHS scarecrow. What i want personally is a new lvl 5 CD monster that is a union with 500/2100. Why a union monster? So it can sync with union hanger 😂
To be completely honest cydra does not need anything, actually the deck is broken but the game is more broken, the game needs a hard reset coz it reached the point were u can have absolutely zero fun except for very few matches that has interaction between players.
Kinda how I feel about it, I wouldn't say it's broken, but it would definitely be top tier if the meta wasn't so busted (Meta being ending on more than 3 negates, some weirdo decks end on like 10)
Thanx guys, i think thats how every old yugioh player feel about the game right now, if Konami wanna bring the fun aspect to this game again they should start by a new master rule removing pends and links first then adjust the decks with banlist.
Well every deck has problems with ash , called by the grave 🪦 veiler etc . Y'all acting like only cyber dragons has problems with them , deck full of searches and starters , 90% of the deck searches something and always cyber dragon players complain
My wishlist:
Cyber Machine Duplication. Literally just the same card but with Cyber in the name. Maybe change it to "original attack of 500 or less" just so Clockwork doesn't stop it from working. Cyber Mass Production? Or for giggles, make it a field spell that just lets you do a Machine Duplication effect once per turn -- Cyber Assembly Line.
A Link-1 that does something cool. Draw 1 if used in a Fusion? Banish self from field to negate an effect targeting a Cyber Dragon or Cyber Spell or Trap? Call it "Cyber Dragon Flickerei" -- Flickerei meaning "to patch", as in a software patch.
Maybe a Link-4 boss? With the new Machine Dupe it would be pretty easy to get to. Have it specifically require 3+ Cyber Dragons so you can make it off of Seiger, but it's spiritually the next one up from Cyber End Dragon. Give it a badass name like Cyber Dragon Finale or Furcht (Dread). Give it an effect where the summon can't be responded to. Then make it a Going First tool, something like letting it negate one each of Spell, Trap and Monster effect per turn by banishing a Cyber Dragon from the grave (face down if need be). Link 4 with 3 CyDras is enough that it'll hamstring you getting out Infinity in the same turn, but it will happen sometimes.
Finally I'd kind of like to see them go back and give the deck a Tuner and a Synchro monster. Cyber Dragon Müll, meaning Junk, as the Tuner. Make it Rank 3 just so when added to Cyber Dragon OG it becomes 8, like Twin. Give it 2100 DEF so that Nachster can grab it from the GY. And then the Rank 8 Synchro, Cyber Dragon Doppelt (Double), can do something like powercreep Drei out of existence by just passively making all Cyber Dragons Rank 5 (including itself so you can roll it into Nova), and then search a "Cyber" Spell/Trap OR Cyber Dragon Monster from deck/GY on summon as a hard once per turn. Just a big combo extender, summon it for the effect and then roll it into Nova, use Nova to resummon something and then Rank Up Nova into Infinity. Or if you were really fucked up you could have it make all Cyber Dragons Rank 6 and cut Nova out of the game entirely (and allow you to summon more than one Infinity per turn easily).
Honestly a cyber synchro would be super cool but my extra deck is already full to bursting lmao. Would be tough trying to fit it in
cydra really needs its own machine dup that allows to special summon from both deck and gy and an extra ability to protect cydra

- One link 1 that when its summoned, lets you choice one of this effects.
*search a cyber spell/trap from your deck to your hand.
*target a machine monster you control, gets unaffected by cards effects.
- A lvl 4 or less (or even a lvl 5 with out the level up effect) monster that can be special summoned by discarting a monster from your hand, becomes a lvl 5. If a machine monster you control is targeted by an opponent card effect, you can discard this card from your hand to the gy, negate the activation and if you do, destroy it.
Needs a field spell that provides cyber dragon monsters protection. Link - cyber monster that can search/ss a cyber monster would help.
hopefully its a SEARCHABLE field spell too!
i think for some cards to make a gimmick-like functional deck
1 link 1 barrier, when is link summoned add 1 machine duplication, with an only machine summon restriction, and in the GY a protection effect like balelynx.
another link 1 like "cyber valley", 1 tribute effect for draw 1 or seach 1 cyber spell/trap, and banish from the GY to end the battle fase.
1 link 2 monster as Laser, 1 trigger effect for destroy or send 1 card from the field to GY, and 1 GY effect to add limiter removal
1 level 3 cyber dragon monster can be special summoned, in the summon you can special summon 1 "cyber dragon" from hand or deck, and becomes lvl 5 like some infinitrack monsters, to replace galaxy soldier and a new material for cybernetic overflow
1 xyz rank 5 like "evilswarm nightmare" or "Constellar pleiades" effect , a once per turn non-negate disruption, to replace pleiades/vimana in the extra deck in a second xyz play after summon infinity,
1 trap or counter trap like orcust crescendo, 1 archetype once per turn negate/disruption and follow up effect in the GY for recovery.
It's just my opinion to make a deck more similar to others like speedroid or salamangreat, that benefits from playing its own archetype only
We need a quick play spell that allows you to dump a light machine while at the same time allow you to add a cyber monster and spell/trap to hand

I came up with a couple cards I think would help. First is a level 3 tuner that special summons itself from hand by targeting a face-up Cyber dragon you control and also makes the targeted monster level 5. It also adds a Cyber dragon monster from deck or graveyard to hand when it's used as synchro material. Then there's a level 8 synchro that targets a cyber tuner monster in grave and special summons a Cyber dragon with a different level from grave. It can also send a light or dark machine fusion from extra deck to grave to search either power Bond or overload based on the attribute
I think one of the BIGGEST improvements to All Cyber Dragon decks, although the hardest to execute, would be if they errata all effects, so that they say "Cyber dragon MONSTER" instead of cyber dragon. Imagine how much more amazing Cyber Revsystem would be. Special summon herz from hand, Special summon Nova and infinity from GY. Beautiful.
EDIT: An extra deck monster that acts as Core would be INSANE.
Also if Cyber Dragons had an extra deck monster that could TOGGLE(if you choose to activate the effect or to leave it, resets every Your standby phase) BANISHMENT. So we could Have it off when we wanna use Chimeratech Fortress and Megafleet to contact fuse opponent's board, OR, Turn the effect on (probably when we're about to end turn) To make ALL Opponent's cards sent to the GY be banished instead. Kinda like a Dark Law but for Cyber Dragons.
Also I JUST Today before this video, found out about TsP YGO hahaha. His latest video about DUALITY and what it means for Cyber Dragons. DEFINITELY SPICY!

@@nostalgicnighthawk Mhm! Also after thinking, I've realized Cyber Dragons don't have many defenses. They have negates sure, but you have to use it up to protect yourself or you're gone. A Raigeki from season 1 will do us in going first.
I think a "Full field" Cyber Dragon type Protection from destruction card would be nice and also fair, since there's so many other things that can deal with you without needing to "destroy"

I think something like the link 1 would be really interesting. Most games with no interruptions are usually otk. But if not even if I did get a good board, the opponent most of the time has like a one card combo... I dueled a zombie deck today and after a good board on my part and a lot of blocks on his part with 3 on the field (nothing crazy) and 2 hand cards, he played 1 monster, synced, special, synced, synced and destroyed like my hole board while doing so... Then he went for game... I could be wrong but a crazy combo like that on CD? Dunno man...
We got a lot of good searchers and some very good combos, but most are way too fragile.

How about a trap card for going first
Hypothetical name for this one: Cyber Emergency Exit
It's effect could be something like tribute one cyber dragon monster so you could tribute an infinity that's already used it's effect this turn and when then you can set one cyber S/T from deck to set overflow or cybernetic fusion... Then again tributing infinity wouldn't do to much with overflow since infinity has a rank not a level but it's materials might
maybee i would want something more potent or something that gets us to infinity easier for a going first card so we at least set up a negate very consistently
I think a way to get a cyber dragon from field to grave in engine would be great. Like an in engine almiraj or something. Doesn't even need an effect just a link one that is a cyber dragon monster so you can fuse it. (I haven't seen the whole video yet so maybe you covered this)

I think for going first they could retrain barrier dragon where it’s in the extra deck (xyz, link, synchro, or fusion even ) but has an alternative summoning condition where if any extra deck cyber dragon monster is sent from the field to the graveyard you can special summon this card in attack. It cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. (Then maybe apply a similar effect to the og version) It only lasts for one turn. Then maybe they could copy the one blue eye’s synchro and you can special summon the retrain laser dragon. I dunno just an idea.
they should def do something with barrier for going first, have some way to easily summon it and give it something like you mentioned where it has some indestructibility. Maybe just once each turn so it isnt OP

i want a cyber dragon tuner monster, im not sure what effect to give it, since you have to balance tuners carefully, but being able to synchro into things like barrone could help the deck see more competetive play
I'm not so sure that's the route I'd want it to take sice so much of the deck seems to want to lock us into machines. Personally I would want another main deck monster that's about as good as core and maybe some new link monsters. Sieger is awesome and we could use more like him

If you really want you can already with Stardust Synchron und Stardust Illumination both as two-off. Gets you into Baronne or Savage Dragon or even other Synchros. Depends on which CyDra you revive with Nova.
A easy to put on table cydra tunner that make lvl 5 synchro monters would be cool to cydra

draw power, cards to control the opponent (I mean that he can go first without any problem), easier to access his fusion monsters without costs or absurd restrictions (at the same time new fusions that are not only for the otk) and greater consistency or being able to combo with 1 or 2 cards and really do a lot with that.
Cyber Dragons need their own version of Amazoness Warchief. A Level 5 that special summons itself from the hand if you have no/all Cyber Dragon monsters, is treated as “Cyber Dragon” on the field & GY, sets a “Cyber” S/T from the deck or a Power Bond, both effects being a HoPT
i can see that being a decent card in the deck!
Cyber dragon nano link 1: negate a spell or trap card activation but pay life points. also a lvl 2 monster that allows you to special summon a lvl 4 or lower cyber dragon monster to the field. And finally a lvl 5 monster to replace galaxy soldier. We have the hand traps we have the big boys, but we don't have cards to back up our plays.
Added: maybe also a xyz lvl 2 like herald of light: discard 1 card special summon 1 card from graveyard and 1 card from hand.
The deck needs better fusion monsters or more efficient means of being able to bring the current ones out and protect them.
As devastating as cards like Chrimeratech are if they go off, they can’t do much if they’re destroyed prior to battle or if your plays attempting to get them out are inhibited. Maybe create a new Cyber Fusion spell that works similar to Miracle Fusion ON ITS OWN (Chimera and Power Bond are not good) and gives the Fusion Summoned monster an additional effect that gives them protection in some form.
Link 1 that add overload fusion(something like it) and banish all cards from grave to protect machine monster from effects.

I think you on track possibly a broken fusion spell to fill gaps. Possibly like a shaddoll/branded fusion like card. But deck needs 2 to 3 cards to be good.

I wish Evolution Burst said any "Load fusion" that way we could search cyberload fusion as a backup play when our power bond or something inevitably gets ashed or negated, I'd say the main issue is cyber dragons just lose to disruption, sure if core gets negated or drolled or something you have plays next turn, but...thats if you get a next turn...If they retrain barrier and laser, they could make them level 5 and special summonable by themselves or a new support quickplay spell, that solves the issue that you said of needing galaxy soldier
What if Cyber Jar was retrained as a machine?
It keeps its classic effect of special summoning level 4 or lower monsters to cycle into herz, vier, &/or even drei.
As a link one that also clears an equal number of cards as it summons would make it relative to overflow.
I love cyber dragons but I think the most important thing it needs is some sort of protection. This deck has an Achilles heel problem

It needs a 1 card combo. A cyber dragon X that says: when you normal summon this card you can add a cyber monster. You can normal summon 1 cyber monster in addition. You can banish this card from the gy: add a power bond. For the rest of the turn you can only ss machines from the extra deck. I think that one card could do the job. It would also be balanced imo
Drei but with an inherent summoning condition. IMO and fuck all Evolution end burst should have been treated as a cyber card… I’d love a link 1 but I feel like that’s definitely wishful thinking.. a combo between barrier and laser dragon would be dope as well.

Gotta love how the link-1 doesn't even need an effect to make the deck better lol. If they just print a link-1 vanilla machine monster that requires a cyber dragon I would be quite happy to play it. If it had an effect that helps us get to our fusion monsters it would be awesome though
Honestly yeah, in some capacity it doesn't even have to be a cyber dragon. Just a generic machine link-1 that uses any one machine monster would go very far in helping the consistency.

God I love me some Cyber Dragons! One of my favorite decks to play and was the deck that got me into playing at Locals for the first time a few years ago. And man is it ever satisfying whenever I can just OTK my opponent. But it's so fragile and going First with Cydras is rough. I mean it is cool to bring out Cyber Dragon Infinity and whatnot, but even it's not enough. What it really needs, and there's alot of really good suggestions here in this video and the comment section, is more Archetype specific support to help with consistency and more resiliency. Hopefully we get some more support in the near future.
cyber drags feel soo goood but yes it is very fragile. We do really need some more help going first. Its just like an auto loss.
We have to aknowledge the biggest issue Cyber Dragon has right now: Chimeratech Fortress Dragon.
As long as this card exists, Cyber Dragon can't be a meta deck and can't even dream of being a going first deck, because everyone is just gonna run one copy to completely wipe their opp's board without spending any resource whatsoever in a way that can't even be negated.
i guess what would be some things to help solve that? You can play around that card I bet but that might be little challenging and def hurts cyber drags.
Fortress dragon needs "Cyber Dragon" as material so as long as your end boards consists of infinity regulus and stuff your opponent can't contact fuse

Cyber dragon have decent amount of good monster already either in main/extra deck. Like Infinity for negation, Megafleet for Link counter, End/Twin/Rampage for dmg, Sieger for ez link, n small cyber dragon as subtitute...
What they lacking is another way to bring body to the field when effect of normal summoned monster is negated. Cz yeah Ash on 3, while anti Ash is limited/semi-limited.
Imagine if they hv quick spell like spright starter, summon low lv cyber dra, but count as extra normal summon? cz Drei n Core is need to normal summoned, n then just make it lock into machine or something. Or spell to discard 1 cyber to summon cyber dra from deck/ a machine token? or Link-1 also a choice, but cyber dra already hv alot of extra deck monster.
Oh... oh.. or maybe a Field Spell... since Field Spell these day kinda crazy. If cyber dra hv 1, must be amazing...
1st thing that has to happen is a link 1 cyber dragon. This would allow us to get another cyber dragon on the field while also being able to go link 2 into Cyber Dragon Seiger without wasting another Cyber Dragon.
It would also be nice to have tuner monster & a synchro for the archtype.
Last wish would be some sort of archtype floodgate weather that's a field spell or continuous trap card. All the good archetypes have at least one

This deck definetley needs more Xyz plays on turn 1 and maybe more Xyz supports.
Also, a Cyber end dragon retrain that work like Alternative ultimate dragon
combining drei and vier into fünf would make sense, so a card that specials itself if you summon cydra, that turns your cydra´s into lv 5 monsters, also print a new fusion spell searchable with dragon core

We need 1 machine duplication only for cyber monster and that card cannot be negate that will be better for cyber combo and more support like 1 link 1 that help we search cyber spell or speacial summon cyber dragon from deck(use 1 effect) and if we use 1 of that effect we can send that card to the GY to summon 1 machine fusion lv5 that will be good for my cyber dragon deck

Cyber dragon gets a high power spell with duality and clockwork. Looking at the rush duel cyber dragons there are several cards that can be reworded for tcg, that can really help the consistency.
But still no searchable staples, also Clockwork is meant to be played in earth machine decks and duality can be played in almost every deck. We nedd something archetype specific
Chimeratech’s are the board breakers especially with Clockwork. Clockwork also gets therion king Regulus for a negate and you also have the cyber dark package to add more negates with Cyberdarkness Dragon and even have a real boss monster with Cyber Dark End Dragon.
The Overload fusion searcher isn’t bad but unfortunately it needs six instead of five, making the cyberdarkness perfect alongside it being 6,000 with a negate that can attack six times.
Symphonic warriors are also good if you need an extra body and normal summon for nova. The gizmech’s are ok.
Bring up some of the rush duel version of the cyber dragon cards
that would be nice, they already have designs for them too, just need to covert the cards a bit!
How about a card that puts a token on your opponents field to use when you go first

I really love Cyber Dragon. I used to play it for 3-4 months coninuing evolving my deck against variuos matchups (at my locals it's like playing YCS). I'll first putting my decklist explaining pros and cons.

As side i used to put something in particular to counter traptrix/labrinth like denko sekka, dimensional barrier and some handtraps to put instead of the board breaker.
So what i've noticed is obviously confusion from the opponent on where to hand trap, removing machine duplication cause it's a more obvious target to ash for example. I've noticed that this version can literraly eat handtraps, giving very good way to fuse and even xyz, focussing on the wipe boarding with fortress. I decided to not play traps (like cibernetic overflow because it's too slow considering that if you use core in order to make the otk you'll difficoult want to search it) It's very good cause every mini engine put me in a situation where i can fuse from field and especially from the grave where the actual meta let you play pretty decent with it, even against kashitra with arise heart and dimensional shifter. It' very difficoult to brick (every now or then it happens) and i used to have very good strategy to going to, the only thing that this deck lacks it's protection. Eternity prevents from targeting, but against Branded it's litterally game over (we all can agree that branded has the best engine and ways to recycle resources) because even if you can wipe the board branded will put again all his monstern on it and it's not possible to otk. My personal nemesis was Eradicator Epidemic Virus declaring spells... I think maybe a rapid spell that gives immunity will be sufficient. Or somenting like Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon that has the rapid effect to be immune. That will be sufficient in my opinion, like galaxy eyes (quoting only because it's another otk archetipe) that they have better protection and a good engine (even if i think it bricks more)

Overflow doesnt feel that amazing to play, like its a GOOD card but its just isnt compared to what other decks are capable of. Like you said, its just a little slow. Some immunity to our cards would be nice. Like Eternity gives us SOMETHING but it isnt enough and requires too much set up. Some more protection would be great!
@@nostalgicnighthawk Not to mention Eternity's Protection Effect isn't a Quick Play either, so you Have to remember to Banish it on your turn otherwise you're screwed. Now if there was an Eternity Protection Effect but it was Quick-Play instead might be helpful. Think Misc for Cyber Dragons.
I have two reasons to believe we'll be getting Cyber dragon support sometime soon. The first is more reasonable, I'm sure Konami wants to give the ocg players new cards to boost the tactical Try deck. The second is definitely more of a reach. We're getting a blue eye structure deck, and the last time we got a blue-eye structure like it was immediately followed by a Cyber dragon structure deck
you dont need machine dupe or the other one to get nova, you can use any of the dragons that become level 5 on normal summon, there are a couple whos names become cyber dragon on the field
A lvl 5 extender, a valid power bond searcher, and a link 1 that can ss a cydra name from deck
I played Cyber Dragon during the Academy Festival in Master Duel and I loved how if you go first, the goal was to go into Cyberdark End Dragon.
Then if you go second, you go Rampage and OTK.
A more consistent way to get Cyberdark End Dragon would be great. The usual combo of getting 5 Cyberdark monsters in the GY to summon Darkness just to Tribute it is too long and vulnerable to disruption.
Looking at Cyberdark End, it just needs 2 Material; Cyberdark Dragon and Cyber End Dragon.
Horizon can dump 1 of the materials. We just need a way to dump the other one.
That new Overload Future Fusion seems like step in the right direction. You Horizon for one of the materials, then OFF the other, and you're all set to Overload Fusion your 5,000 immune to 99% of everything beatstick.
Except OFF steps on a LEGO brick and prevents you from summoning the declared monster that turn.
Then I feel like we need better things for Cyberdark to equip too. Most of the targets you can choose from will just do nothing except take up a S/T slot. Herz would at least give you some value if it goes to the GY again.
Definitely need some more baby Dragons that can level adjust like Herz but do it to all Cyber Dragons like Drei. And it would need 2100 DEF. That way you could discard it for Nacho, SS it back, and make your Rank 5 play from there.
If it's a baby Dragon with 2100 DEF, maybe it could also be a baby Cyber Barrier? That way if you have to sit on it, it can perhaps send a Cyber Dragon to the GY to block an attack, provide a Waboku effect, or just straight up end the battle phase.
A retrained Cyber Laser could be a quick effect pop by sending a Cyber Dragon from Deck to GY. That would be cool.
A Rank 2 that can SS baby Cyber Dragons to the Zones it points to would also be nice. Maybe with the restriction they can't be used for Link Summoning?
i can never get Cyberdark end out consistently enough to justify running it. A card that would help get that out easier would be great! I do like claw and cannon as equip cards actually! But the main problem is there arent really good targets to send. There ARE targets but a more impactful card would be good.
Konami can do a lot to help out the archetype and i hope we see some support soon!

Definetely Agree with the defensive cyber Barrier Retrain suggestion below and I also think cyber Laser could have an More aggressive retrain as well
a better machine dupe would be good or at least yea treated as cyber card so we only need to run 1 in the deck instead of 3!

Cydra just need as much love and support as hero deck. I dont want cydra to be tier 0 or 1. Link 1 cyber dragon and cyberdark. Protection from card effect ... But to be honest, i dont think cydra is the priority of komoney ans unfortunatly, i don't think it will change :/

I think if barrier get retrained into something to setup turn one for protection so you can get to turn 3 to otk that would make the deck not meta but better turn one

I think yes monster to help set up rank but also sets up cyberload fusion so you can utilize it going second way more consistwnt. Also cydra needs atleast 1 more good main deck monster, because its always shit if you normal core search emergency, and what will you search then ?

I wouldn't mind a Verte variation of a cyber dragon link monster. Verte getting banned really hurt the deck imo.

All 'Cyber Dragon' and 'Cyber Dark' monsters on your side of the field are unaffected by card effects. Once per turn you can add one 'Cyber Dragon' or 'Cyber Dark' card from your deck or graveyard to your hand, if effect is negated you can add two cards from your deck or graveyard to your hand.
My cyber dragon deck every starting hand is an automatic OTK deck flows in a win win turn

The archetype lacks cards that generate card advantage. Right now all cards go neutral or minus except for machine dupe which isn't even searchable and dies to almost any handtrap in the game which is really sad
Idk why but I also like to see if there could be some Cyber Dragon that utilizes the other Special Summoning like Synchro and Pendulum just for the sh*ts and giggles lol

Le falta un link 1 estilo Core (como diseño) que te permita invocar de modo special desde el deck. Alguna fusion con negación y otra que afecte el campo del oponente ya sea negando efectos o poniéndolos en defensa como number 41 y alguna magia que te permita invocar de modo special desde el deck también algún cyber dragón monster. También le falta algún monster del main que haga recovery, recupere cartas del gy al deck para que tenga recovery y consistencia

A bit lack luster alternatively could give it the armades effect or piercing. I wanted to play around with the idea of Ultra polymerization so ideally using nash/herz plus funf making rampage summon them back to make armament which makes the armades effect probably the better option.

Kinda phoning it in with that last part but it just plays around with the archetypes inconsistent levels aswell as funf's level mod capabilities. Overall all this doesn't really fix the deck a whole lot since its just throw more big numbers at already big monsters

As cards definitely a new cyber laser and cyber barrier ( there spel/trap to be actually cyber cards this time) and Cyber Barrier effect tu be ,,This card can stop one atk and his stats atk 0 def 3000 and Cyber Laser same effect and stats 3000 atk and 0 def. And sometimes else......maybe some of the Rush Duel Fusions you have to check them out interesting effects with one downside you have to send the top card from deck to the grave and apparently they have a fusion between Cyber Laser and Cyber Barrier........maybe a new XYZ monster to make it ontop of Infinity or another,,Core" since the moment Core's effect it's negate ur done......
Wait, Ash negating Cyber Emergency doesn’t kill it. Ash negates activation of the effect and if Emergency is negated, you can discard and get it back and do it again.

Cyber dragon needs their own hand traps like honest in machine from and they need a Synchro they own stuff help against other negates cuz there's too many gates of interruptions start a dragon needs their own counter interruptions and negates
I'm a Cyber Dragon die hard player, all time favorite archetype and Deck to play, it's awesome at what it does in terms of OTK but that's about it, the biggest problem with Cyber Dragon is that it's too fair of a deck unfortunately. It has all the tools to break boards and take some wins, maybe a searchable floodgate card would enhance and make the deck more competitive in the today's format!
what if clockwork was searchable would that sort of be considered a flood gate?
@@nostalgicnighthawk unfortunately no, clock work night is more of a board breaker card through contact fusion, a floodgate is a lingering effect ultimately restricting play e.g royal decree stops all trap cards so its good against labyrinth and trap tricks, for Cyber dragon to be relevant it would need a flood gate to slow other decks down to bring other decks down to Cyber Dragon's level, until then its really only an OTK deck. Don't get me wrong with duality coming out it benifits cyber dragon, summon rampage dragon with power bond to break the board, if you haven't achieved the OTK through that then activate duality to summon out cyber twin dragon ect to finish off the job during the battle phase. I'm actually looking to start up a yugioh podcast and would love to host you on it to have an episode talking about all things Cyber Dragon!

Cyber dragons can never be top tier. If it gets too strong, everyone will just put chimaratech fortress dragon in their extra deck and boom, your board is gone at 0 cost
there has to be ways to play around the card though. It does STINK but i would think there is somethings out there to help us with that.

To be completely honest cydra does not need anything, actually the deck is broken but the game is more broken, the game needs a hard reset coz it reached the point were u can have absolutely zero fun except for very few matches that has interaction between players.
Kinda how I feel about it, I wouldn't say it's broken, but it would definitely be top tier if the meta wasn't so busted (Meta being ending on more than 3 negates, some weirdo decks end on like 10)
