True, but I think it stemmed from how he grew up. In this ep, his body language is noticeably uncomfortable talking about his mental health and his past. What I like about him though is that he's open about changing and growing as an individual.
Ang cute ni Atty pag nagiging vulnerable sya. He represents a lot of traditional men in the Philippines na may macho figure but what I like about him is that he is very receptive and trust ng peers nya. Magiging inspiration ka sa maraming lalakeng with stature or successful but afraid to seek help. More power guys!
I’m so amazed at how Doc just keeps quiet and lets Atty speak his mind. It’s really giving therapy session. I’m also very glad to see atty exerting so much effort in trying to understand himself. It’s tiring to repress emotions. I hope, someday, you’ll be able to face your inner child and say that you’re doing better.
Based on my observation of Atty. Anselmo during the podcast, it seems he is struggling to articulate his own traumas and anxieties. The way he readily agrees with Aryn or Inka when they attempt to explain his situation suggests that he is aware something is amiss but finds it difficult to express or define. This could stem from an avoidant approach to addressing these deeper issues. His posture throughout the podcast also speaks volumes-his shoulders appear tense and guarded, which may reflect internal stress or discomfort. Additionally, his anger issues are a noticeable symptom that often points to unresolved emotional struggles. While this could partly stem from inherited behaviors, perhaps from his father, it might be further intensified by his tendency to bottle up emotions. There’s also a possibility that he grew up in an environment influenced by toxic masculinity, which he may have internalized and conformed to over time. Abuse could also be a factor in his personal history. Regardless of the specifics, I believe Atty. Anselmo has immense potential to thrive as a husband, father, friend, son, and lawyer if he chooses to prioritize his mental health. Breaking free from the weight of generational trauma is no small feat, but in today’s world, where access to mental health resources is more readily available, seeking therapy could be transformative for him. If he takes that step, he could serve as a powerful example of strength and growth. For now, though, he reminds me of my boomer dad-guarded, traditional, but full of untapped potential. 😂 Wishing you all the best! I’m a big fan of the show. ❤
Please this is not a hateful comment. I don’t know if it’s just me, I just noticed that Dr. Randy was not able to speak up more on this episode. I think it would have been better if our lovely hosts had given a chance to Dr. Randy to speak up more. It was a very good topic. Feeling ko lang Dr. Randy was just at the corner and will speak up only when needed. This what I noticed lang po. Anyway, kudos po for having this kind of topic. This is what everyone needs right now. A lot of us are struggling to open up and overcome their traumas. Sana may part 2 pa sa ganitong topic. ❤️
I understand, but we did offer a lot of questions and opportunities for him to speak! While filming this ep, it was clear that he was allowing us to sit back and talk about our experiences and thoughts, especially atty, and just sat back a lot to listen! I think as a therapist, that’s what they do hehe! We can always do a part 2 with another psychologist like YMP to cover other aspects 🤗
I have watched all the episodes of POV. And this is the only episode where I've seen Attorney so all worked up. Like he's giving hints na he wanna share something but he's catching it kase he doesn't wanna be judged. and yes eto na! Magsusubscribe na! HAHAHA!
no more sa mga vlog na puro prank lang kapag sa inyo kasi feeling ko kapag nanunuod ako sa inyo tumatalino ako haha kaya madalas kayo hinahanap ko ganda ng topic ❤
it's amazing to see doc just listens and observes to a point where it became an open floor for talking about mental health; expressing themselves without judgement and learning from each other's experiences.
Appreciation comment for atty. Ang ganda malaman yung perspective ng mga guys that have the same character and personality like him. I don’t have friends like him kasi so its so nice to hear his thoughts.
I like how Atty. became open to make therapy an option to better himself. And Inka's testimony really cemented in me that therapy helps tremendously.
I love this show. I am crying right now typing this comment. Every episode hits different… grabe yong self awareness and validation sa mga na fe-feel ko ang paniniwala ko.
Same kami ni Atty. Glad I'm not alone. Most of the time I am afraid to face my demons, to look back and actually go to the root of my issues. Natatakot ako malaman kung ano, bakit, paano ako ganito.
I wouldn’t say youre a slow learner. You just probably learn differently from others, and thats why you understood it when I explained it differently 🤗❤️
The pandemic somehow opened our eyes to the importance of mental health..ngayon lang napag uusapan ang mga ganitong bagay kasi noon ang tingin ng mga tao sa may mental health concerns, baliw na..na tila ba curse ito sa tao. Pero ngayon by being self aware nalalaman natin ang mga rason at kung bakit tayo nagkakaroon ng mental health issues. I read and listened to Gabor Mate and God, i realized how parenting and our experiences during our childhood has so much impact on our adult lives.
Atty is such a good part of this podcast kasi maganda din yung may ibang character. He's like the traditional type while the other 2 naman ay mas progressive and he's very open naman kaya perfect.
Yup!! Some people ask to replace or add a more modern and progressive male perspective, but also having atty there with his traditional views while remaining open to discussions, is the point of the show! If we all have the same POV, this wouldn’t be the show that it is ❤
Dear Miss Inka, I just watched your episode and I'm very happy I learned a lot, especially from you and Dr. Randy. I appreciate your ability to explain complex topics clearly; your effective communication helps me grasp intricate subjects and situations. I also admire how your doctors assist you in understanding your diagnosis and circumstances; I am hoping for the same support as what you're experiencing from them. Unfortunately, I've had to pause my medication due to financial constraints. Hearing that you're offering gifts or codes brought me joy, as they could be beneficial. Is it okay and if you could please share the names of your doctors or the centers you recommend? I'd like to consider reaching out to them. Thank you.
Ang pag-iyak talaga ang importante para maka-release ng emotion (sadness, anger, disappointment, failure, etc.) I have a cousin never cried even though she was encountering difficult problems. Good thing, I like listening to people while they are talking. I asked questions to my cousin and finally she became emotional. She finally cried. She cried the whole night and was relief the next day. She is now more open and tears are her friend now. If she doesn't cry, she will get sick. The more that she talks to people to release her stress, the more she functions in life in a healthy way.
watched this katabi si mama and it's great to hear some of her inputs lalo na from a POV from diff generation. Perfect attendance until this ep! Love you, Ms Aryn, Ms Inka, and Atty Anselmo. PS. Subscribed since day 1.
This episode stands out as one of the best you’ve released so far. The dynamic between the three hosts creates a balanced discussion, as each brings a unique perspective. One host represents an older, more traditional viewpoint, while the others provide modern insights and support. This blend effectively mirrors the diverse nature of society. It’s great to see how they engage with one another, with one host offering understanding, another providing support, and the third prompting thought-provoking discussions. This variety enriches the conversation and reflects the different types of people we encounter in our lives.
Love this episode!! Excited for what lies ahead of you guys especially Atty. Anselmo!! It’s heart warming to watch you get vulnerable in this. Proud fan of your show 🫡🤍
Doc Randy Dellosa used to diagnose my father due to depression many years ago. Napakahusay po nya. Although my father passed away more than 7 yrs ago, pero nakatulong talaga yung mga advise and gamot na nabigay nya noon sa father ko.
Thanks to TaskUS, we have coaches that can be listening ear to their employees if needed. May mga psychologist din na covered ng HMO if after assessment ay need ng teammates. Let’s admit na mahal ang mga gqnitong doctor dito sa PH.
i've watched all of the episodes na but something about this one made me really like the hosts specially inka. mental health is something i've been struggling with in a significant amount of time in my life. it's not to be taken lightly and i feel validated in this episode. p.s i just found out that inka is the voice on the philippine airlines and she also did a tedtalk which i find really cool :D
I love love love this episode!! 💖💖 Thank you so much for doing this. I learned a lot and has made me want to push through with talk therapy. I have so much baggage in me that I have noticed affected some people in my life. This has been such an awakening for me and I love all four of you in this episode. Hoping for more podcasts like this. More power! ✨
Nice intro lakas maka The Diary Of A CEO which is isa sa mga pinapanuod ko na podcast.. nag subscribed agad aq nung napanuod q ung isang vid nyo about sa age gap sa dating and ayun tuloy2x na..
@InkaMagnaye 🙀 legit ba Miss Inka na noticed comment ko?? Wow 🤯 .. anyway thank you miss inka and I wanted to say that your voice is so relaxing.. isa sa reason bakit na hooked aq grabe it's like your voice is massaging my brain. So relaxing
Mental health is vital nowadays, yung panahon namin di ka talaga pwede umuwi ng umiiyak, or else papabalikan ng lola sa akin ang nanukso sa akin. This era is very sensitive. By the way, First episode palang minahal ko ang trio na ito. I am a millennial and I'm also learning from them. More episodes to come.
I love you guys so much po, thank you for this very informative topic. All of the episodes serves as an eye opener for me because I realized a lot of things that actually help me to be self-aware more. It's so fun, I always learn something new that I could say I can carry to help me in a long run as a human being. Love lots to you guys po 🫶
Hey there POVs! I just wanted to share my experience. Having done Ayahuasca several times, I can honestly say it's been the best therapy for me. It's like receiving 10 years of therapy in just one weekend! But psychedelic medicines aren't for everyone; it's not an easy journey and requires a lot of inner work. I really admire how you guys approach everything head-on. Keep doing what you're doing, it's inspiring! 🤘🏽
Actually, naalala ko din dito yung pagiging hook ng mga tao sa mga girl groups or boy groups, saying that being in the fandom daw helped their mental health, that some people were saved from the abyss that they're falling into before becoming a fan. Na-curious ako how it works or what that term is about, yung somehow nagiging helpful yung pag-idolize sa mga ganito. Or baka tawag din is distraction.
Ang sarap sana maka-pagpa therapy, kaso walang mahanap libre. Diagnosed with severe depression, but my session stopped gawa nang mahal. Today I wasn't feeling okay, at nakita ko itong video. Always interested in hearing mental health conversations. Salamat po dito.
everytime I watched atty it feels like why he's like that but on this episode, I must say we're the same.. I also don't cry infront of others, I cried when I'm alone or watching dramas, my last cried event was when my mother died and then that's it, I'm the eldest so my thinking was I want my younger sibling and other people saw me strong and not weak even tho I feel like giving up. Thank you for this ep! I loved the discussion and getting the different views and approach of the hosts and the guest!! I would love to know the thoughts of the group, may I please request for an episode on: Can ex-lovers (exes) truly be “just friends”? And if so, should they even still be friends after they’ve both moved on from the ended relationship? How do you feel & what are your thoughts about your partner/significant other being friends with their exes? Thank you in advance!! Looking forward to the next drop of a new ep! 🥰😇🙏🏼
Hi! I've been watching all of your videos and I like listening to all of you. May I suggest that you also talk about the topic of dark psychology? Like the book 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. Thanks! Hope I get noticed :)

Traditional, old school talaga mga takes ni atty anselmo watching through the eps, good thing aryn and inka balance them
True pero you can tell din na open sya to adjust lalo na when aryn and inka provide their inputs tapos mapapaisip sya
True, but I think it stemmed from how he grew up.
In this ep, his body language is noticeably uncomfortable talking about his mental health and his past. What I like about him though is that he's open about changing and growing as an individual.
Medyo close pa yung mind niya pero atleast his trying to open his mind about the wide perspective about everything diba.
Pero ang ganda kasi nagmemeet yung POVs in a gentle way, tapos its a great way to understand different perspectives
Kudos to anselmo! :) zero “okay”, pigil na pigil si atty! Thank you for accepting our constructive critisism!! We appreciate it 💗
Ang cute ni Atty pag nagiging vulnerable sya. He represents a lot of traditional men in the Philippines na may macho figure but what I like about him is that he is very receptive and trust ng peers nya. Magiging inspiration ka sa maraming lalakeng with stature or successful but afraid to seek help. More power guys!
For some reason, I felt Atty needs a hug. All those tears and sadness bottled up tru out these years…
I hope one day he’ll have the “courage to cry”.
I like your message Inka to treat ypur mental health like how u treat ur physical health. Asking for help does not mean you're weak.
I like how Atty. Anselmo went lighter by lighter as the episode went through. Talk therapy really does wonders.
Miss Aryn is such a good listener. She's like that one friend who listens but does not judge.
Based on my observation of Atty. Anselmo during the podcast, it seems he is struggling to articulate his own traumas and anxieties. I love this take
Cute ni atty! Sa lahat ng episodes, may character development! Love the openness. It's a shot against toxic masculinity.
AMEN!! We’re so proud of him 😭❤️
salamat sa podcast niyong tatlo

Hooked nako sa POV ni Atty Anselmo 😅. His perspective is like the ones from my parents and lolas. Subscribed!

I really love Ate Inka’s analogies. As a slow learner, I appreciate how she makes deeper perspectives easier to grasp❤
I wouldn’t say youre a slow learner. You just probably learn differently from others, and thats why you understood it when I explained it differently 🤗❤️
Kudos to Atty! He's very worked up but we can see that he's really trying to open up with the two ladies. Ang saya ng episode!
ahhhhhh never been this early to a podcast before! ang ganda ng topic. very timely!
