Looking good, thanks for taking the time and effort to share your work! How cold is it in your shop area? I could NOT do good work in an uncomfortable environment... but I suppose there are those who don't find it offensive perhaps. Let's be honest, you are working on a Porsche resto..... you can afford heat.
No problem, glad you are enjoying the content. At the moment temps are around 6-10C although we’ve had the old colder spell. Jan-Feb are normally worse. Our team room is heated, Chris has a space heater in the prep room for when it’s really cold and when he’s not hiding in the 22C spray booth!! I have a heated jacket. The problem with my workshop is that it’s got really high ceilings and is a non insulated barn so heat will just disappear.
Did you ever try silicabronze migweld ,id say u would like it for closing door gaps wings etc very nice to file lot softer ..looks like a nice car to work on 👍
Never had a go with that tbf. It’s probably the most valuable car we’ve had in the workshop but pretty demoralizing watching it get rustier and rustier as we repair it! Thanks for watching 👌
Ah hopefully the acid dip and ecoat will do what's needed.youve done your side of the job Great.. beautiful car ,hopefully they paint it the Porsche silver..
It's amazing to watch the metal expand and contract when welding
Agreed, really noticeable on the rear quarter panel.
Awesome methodical work as per Dean! 👏🙌
Thanks Gareth

Great work, Looks so much more daunting with everything in bare metal, good job your the man for the job
Thanks Pat, trouble with bare metal is that it seems to be rusting faster than I can repair it!!
@

My pleasure! Glad you’re enjoying the content!
Always look forward to a new video from you. Great work.
I appreciate that, thank you
Kryptonite is to Superman as rust is to a Porsche. No worries, as you're a master at this.
Thanks, really appreciate your kind words 🙌🏻
Wow du hast sehr gute Fähigkeiten👌👌👌
Danke 👌👌
Cracking job/video as per normal. Can i suggest though that you try making it look a bit harder, otherwise we'll all be thinking we can do it. 🤣🤣
Thank you 🙏 I’ll try harder to make it look harder 🤣
Great fabrication skills again… guess you get through a shed load of masking tape!
Thanks! We buy it by the box as Chris uses loads!

You're doing a great job, but if anything puts me off dipping my car, it's this 356.
Thank you 👍🏻 glad you’re enjoying the content. I totally agree, I’ll never have it done
Awesome work- what gauge sheetmetal do you use? You make it look so easy
Thank you. I use 20SWG for most bodywork stuff. I generally try and use as close as possible to what the factory uses.
@ I’ve toyed around with 20gauge sheet metal- it’s not easy - thanks for the info. Love your content
Impressive work as always. Can I come and work with you for free for 1 or 2 weeks to learn a bit of the trade?!! :-)
Thank you! Unfortunately we don’t have capacity to have somone else in the workshop at the moment, sorry.
