Thanks this made all the difference for me today. I really was a little lost when all my normal brake bleeding skills did not work. Followed your video and it works a treat now.
Robiłem wczoraj bmw k1200s według tego filmiku bo nie szło odpowietrzyc koledze inaczej niestety po robocie kolega się przejechał i zaliczył glebę bo hamulce były brzytwa a on przyzwyczajony do zapowietrzonych był dobre filmik porada pozdrawiam serdecznie
Kolego . Pozdrawiam.
Please take this as a compliment Sir ,, you are the " Ed China " of the Motor bikes in the United Kingdom ,,great help ,, sadly it looks easier than it will be ,,but I`m sure we can do it :-)
For whatever reason my servo's are not running the front breaks are hard as steel? 07 R1200R let me know if you have any ideas. I'm planning on bleeding the breaks this weekend, not the fancy one involving the ABS like you did, don't have the tools
LOL: How about filling and closing te second fillercap (for the rear brake). You missed that on video :-) Anyway: great vids you make. Keep on posting.
Thank you good man for the good word... all the work is worth good words...yes i know its a litle "home-made"..that's the idea of my movies.. to persuade guys that the maintanance is no magic.
Hi, Thank's for a very good video! Thank's to you I will perform my service by my selfe. One question, what do you use as "gasket" in the bottom of the funnel?
But I do not understand why the front and back callipers needed to be removed for the final bleed. The disks do the same job as the piece of timber/pine, thus why remove at all? Any help here would be much appreciated.
O'Rusty dRipper I believe, it is to fix the pistons at maximum „in“ position, which is not possible with the worn disc and pads. If you level the reservoires with pistons „in“ to their max, it surely will drop down a little when the worn parts are back into operation, but this should still be in the ok range . But you will now have the possiblity to change discs and pads at any time later without touching the closed liquid systems . If you change Disc and Pads later, the fluid level will be ok and not over Max. You will definetly not have the brake fluid spilling and leaking from the Reservoire because it is over the Max level by using his method. If you will be able to bring the pistons in , at all. Hope you got, what I meant.( I am not a native speaker 😉)
Everytime I bleed the brakes on my RT or LT, I come back to these two videos just to refresh my memory. Easy to follow, as long as you pay attention!
😂 same procedure !
Thanks this made all the difference for me today. I really was a little lost when all my normal brake bleeding skills did not work. Followed your video and it works a treat now.

Great video, thanks!

Hi Mazby, I have a non-ABS R1200GS (year 2006). I assume that in my case brake fluid replacement shall be done as in any other motorcycle?
LOL: How about filling and closing te second fillercap (for the rear brake).
You missed that on video :-)
Anyway: great vids you make. Keep on posting.
@mazbymoto never mind...i've found the answer on your video...thanks. planning to change on k1200s .
Thanx alot! Very good video for a noob like me :)
Merci!
Hello from Slovenija :) can you please write me the diameters of the plastic tubes you use to drain the oil.
Any special technique to bleed a 2001 F650 GS? It has ABS
buen video gracias....
I HAVE A 2007 1200RT IS THE PROCESS THE SAME AS IN THIS VIDEO. THANKS

谢谢 THANKS!
very very well made tutorial, and funny too. I wonder where one can get the white funnel. does it need a special adaptor? is it self made? thanks
Thank you good man for the good word... all the work is worth good words...yes i know its a litle "home-made"..that's the idea of my movies.. to persuade guys that the maintanance is no magic.
You can buy the funnel here...www.beemerboneyard.com/abs3funnel.html
Możesz kupić lejek tutaj w USA...www.beemerboneyard.com/abs3funnel.html
thx
@qwereca What OIL? what reservoir? I was "talking" about brake fluid.

Pozdro
Could you tell us the dimensions of the pieces of wood? Thanks.
Bonsoir
Bonne route @ +
You should NOT use a "click-style" torque wrench as a breaker bar. Changes the calibration!

Do R 1150 GS jest taka sama procedura ? :)

sorry, cannot translate . Please in English
Daryoush Moha weil nog ol hinter den kloz cylinder zitst
is this the same for the 1150rt?
Its not the question of bike but system. Its the same for all bikes with the Abs-Integral II system.
Awesome thank you for your help much appreciated
You have to check your bike ABS system on realoem.com/bmw/select.do
Thanks!
